Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of PowerPoint-based learning media, describe students’ learning outcomes after the use of the media, and analyze its effect on the learning outcomes of third-grade students at SD Negeri 040527 Tigapanah in the 2026 academic year. This research employed a quantitative approach using an experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The study was conducted in the second semester of the 2026 academic year, involving 23 third-grade students as the research sample. Data collection techniques included observation and learning outcome tests. Based on the data analysis results, the use of PowerPoint-based learning media was found to have a significant effect on improving students’ learning outcomes. This finding was supported by the results of the paired sample t-test, which showed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) with a calculated t-value of 5.366, which was higher than the t-table value of 2.028. Therefore, PowerPoint-based learning media is proven to be effective in improving the learning outcomes of third-grade students at SD Negeri 040527 Tigapanah.

Abstract

The emergence of generative artificial intelligence, particularly ChatGPT, has created both opportunities and challenges for writing instruction in secondary education. This study aims to: (1) describe Indonesian Language teachers’ understanding of ChatGPT as a tool for writing instruction; (2) analyze teachers’ perceptions of the Use of ChatGPT in writing instruction; and (3) explore strategies for the responsible use of ChatGPT to support students’ writing skills and digital literacy. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with three Indonesian Language teachers, classroom observations, and analysis of instructional documents. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña. The findings indicate that teachers possess a functionally pragmatic understanding of ChatGPT and perceive it as a learning support tool that facilitates the pre-writing process, particularly in generating ideas, organizing outlines, and providing initial feedback. Teachers’ perceptions of ChatGPT were generally positive due to its potential to improve instructional efficiency; however, concerns remained regarding students’ cognitive dependency, academic integrity, limited digital literacy among teachers, and infrastructural constraints. Teachers developed several responsible-use strategies, including guided prompting, comparative writing, error analysis, and reflective journaling, to ensure that AI supports the development of critical thinking and independent writing skills. The findings contribute to the development of a responsible AI integration model for Indonesian language instruction at the secondary school level.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has transformed the marine transportation system and created a huge opportunity to improve shipping efficiency and safety. This research aims to analyze the transformation of maritime transportation systems based on digital technology in improving operational efficiency and shipping safety. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method through in-depth interviews with 15 informants consisting of ship operators, port managers, and maritime authorities. Data was analyzed using thematic analysis techniques through the process of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study show that the application of digital navigation systems, real-time monitoring, and integration of logistics data is able to increase operational effectiveness, accelerate information distribution, and minimize the risk of marine accidents. This study concludes that digital transformation plays an important role in supporting safer, more efficient, and sustainable maritime transportation systems.

Abstract

Digital governance transformation in public policy is not only driven by technological adoption but also shaped by how government actors interpret and construct its meaning. This article analyzes how government actors make sense of digital governance transformation and how these interpretations influence policy and bureaucratic change. The study adopts a qualitative approach based on systematic literature review of academic sources and policy documents on digital governance. The findings reveal three dominant interpretations among government actors: digitalization as an administrative efficiency tool, as a mechanism for transparency and accountability, and as a structural reform agenda for bureaucratic transformation. These differences are shaped by institutional capacity, digital literacy, and political context. The study highlights that the success of digital governance transformation depends not only on technological infrastructure but also on shared meaning construction among government actors.

Abstract

Self-Regulated Learning and argumentation skills are important competencies that prospective teacher students must possess to face the demands of 21st-century learning. However, studies that describe these two competencies simultaneously in Case Method-based learning are still limited. This study aims to describe the profile of Self-Regulated Learning, argumentation skills, and learning outcomes of prospective teacher students through Case Method learning on child development issues. The study used a descriptive quantitative approach with 81 students taking the Child Development course in the 2025/2026 academic year using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires on Self-Regulated Learning, argumentation skills, and Final Semester Exam (UAS) scores, which were then analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the majority of students had Self-Regulated Learning in the independent category (90.12%), argumentation skills in the high category (64.20%), and learning outcomes in the good category (61.73%). The results showed that Case Method learning was able to facilitate the development of Self-Regulated Learning, argumentation skills, and student learning outcomes. However, reinforcement through scaffolding, structured reflection, and evidence-based argumentation exercises is still needed to improve higher-order argumentation skills and encourage more students to reach the highest category.
