Jurnal Mahasiswa Entrepreneurship (JME) Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Abdurachman Saleh Situbondo adalah jurnal yang ditulis oleh mahasiswa FEB UNARS sebagai jembatan antara ilmu dan praktek manajemen. JME mempublikasikan artikel baik berupa telaah pustaka maupun hasil penelitian empiris. JME menerima naskah dari berbagai bidang atau disiplin ilmu, seperti Keuangan, Manajemen Strategi, Pemasaran , Operasional dan Kewirausahaan . Kriteria utama untuk dapat diterima di JME adalah kemampuan untuk memberikan sumbangsih bagi perkembangan ilmu ekonomi khususnya manajemen. JME menerima kiriman naskah/artikel dalam bahasa Indonesia atau Inggris dan harus dinyatakan bahwa naskah yang dikirim tersebut, tidak dikirim atau belum pernah dipublikasikan dalam jurnal lainnya. Keputusan tentang pemuatan artikel dalam JME diambil melalui proses blind review oleh Dewan Redaksi dengan mempertimbangkan antara lain : orisinilitas, aktualitas serta signifikansi kontribusi artikel terhadap pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan maupun praktik dalam dunia nyata. Dewan redaksi akan memberikan telaah konstrutif dan jika dipandang perlu, menyampaikan hasil evaluasi kepada penulis artikel untuk ditanggapi dan didiskusikan. Untuk revisi kecil (minor revision), naskah yang telah diperbaiki bisa langsung mendapat persetujuan untuk dimuat. Artikel yang tidak memenuhi kriteria yang ditetapkan akan dikembalikan.

Abstract

The increasingly fierce competition in the culinary business means that every business actor must be able to differentiate between one business and another so that it has advantages that can attract the attention of consumers. Business actors must ensure consumer satisfaction and design appropriate marketing strategies to encourage repeat purchases. Effective marketing is the key to convincing consumers to choose a product. This research aims to analyze the influence of service quality and product quality on Gudeg Lumintu Jember customer loyalty. The population of this research is all Gudeg Lumintu Jember customers with a sample of 75 respondents. Descriptive analysis, validity, reliability, classical assumptions and research hypothesis testing were used to analyze the data. The results of this research are expected to show a significant influence of service quality and product quality on Gudeg Lumintu Jember customer loyalty.

Abstract

Pharmaceutical companies play a significant role in reforming the healthcare sector by researching, producing, developing, and distributing medications, including both generic and commercial drugs. This study aims to analyze and test the role of Company size in moderating the effects of Profitability and Debt policy on Firm value. The population for this study consists of 12 pharmaceutical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2020 to 2022. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study are conducted using Structural Equation Analysis - Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM). The results of the hypothesis testing in the study show that Profitability has a negative but not significant effect on Firm value, while Debt policy has a significant negative effect on Firm value. Company size negatively moderates the effect of Profitability on Firm value, but this effect is not significant. Similarly, Company size negatively moderates the effect of Debt policy on Firm value, though this moderation is also not significant.

Abstract

Banking companies are financial institutions whose job is to collect funds from the public in the form of deposits and then channel them back to the public in the form of credit or other things to advance the community's economy. Conventional banks themselves are banks that carry out their activities according to national and international regulations. This study aimed to determine the effect of working capital, cash flow and total assets on firm value with profitability as an intervening variable. This study uses quantitative and descriptive research. The population used in this study were 41 conventional bank companies listed on the IDX for the 2020-2022 period. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study using Smart PLS 3.0. The results of the direct effect test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application show that working capital has a positive but insignificant effect on profitability, cash flow has a negative but insignificant effect, total assets have a negative but insignificant effect, working capital has a positive but insignificant effect on firm value, cash flow has a negative but insignificant effect on firm value, total assets have a positive but insignificant effect on firm value, profitability has a negative but significant effect on firm value. The indirect effect hypothesis test results show that the working capital variable has a negative but insignificant effect on firm value through profitability, cash flow has a positive but insignificant effect on firm value through profitability, and total assets have a positive but insignificant effect on firm value through profitability.

Abstract

Ms Glow is a local cosmetic brand that was established in 2013. The name Ms Glow itself is taken from the company’s motto, vision, and mission, namely Magic For Skin. Ms Glow products are halal certified and Ms Glow has won the Indonesia Best Brand Award (IBBA) in 2020. Ms Glow skincare products are the most complete skincare products according to the skin care needs desired by consumers. So, the focus of this study is on consumers. The population in this study is the Situbondo Regency Community. The sampling technique was determined by simple random sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application show that Product Quality has a significant positive effect on Purchase Interest, Price has a negative but insignificant effect on Purchase Interest, Location has a significant positive effect on Purchase Interest, Product Quality has a significant positive effect on Purchase Decision, Price has a significant positive effect on Purchase Decision, Location has a positive but insignificant effect on Purchase Decision, Purchase Interest has a significant positive effect on Purchase Decision, Product Quality has a significant positive effect on Purchase Decision through Purchase Interest, Price has a significant positive effect but insignificant effect on Purchase Decision through Purchase Interest, Location has a significant positive effect on Purchase Decision through Purchase Interest.

Abstract

Marketing has an important role in a company, for this reason, the skincare industry, which is growing rapidly from year to year, must implement good marketing management in order to produce and provide products that can meet the needs and desires of consumers. The aim of this research is to analyze and test the factors that influence consumer satisfaction with Scarlett products through purchasing decisions. This research is quantitative research. The populations in this study were female students from the Faculty of Economics and Business UNARS SITUBONDO. The sampling technique was determined using purposive sampling. The data analysis and hypothesis testing in this research used the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, show that brand image has no significant effect on purchasing decisions, product quality has a significant effect on purchasing decisions, promotion has no significant effect on purchasing decisions, brand image has no significant effect on consumer satisfaction, product quality has no has a significant effect on consumer satisfaction, promotion has no significant effect on consumer satisfaction, purchasing decisions have a significant effect on consumer satisfaction. The results of the indirect influence hypothesis test show that the brand image variable has no significant effect on consumer satisfaction through purchasing decisions, product quality has a significant effect on consumer satisfaction through purchasing decisions, and promotion has no significant effect on consumer satisfaction through purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Financial management is a process of managing and controlling finances in an organization or company, which includes planning, organizing, directing and controlling financial activities such as the acquisition and use of funds. The main objective of financial management is to maximize company value and ensure that financial resources are used efficiently and effectively. The aim of this research is to analyze and test the influence of dividend policy in moderating profitability, company size and leverage on company value in packaging and plastics sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2019-2022. The population in this study was 16 companies, which were then narrowed down based on criteria to become 8 companies. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this research used the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, show that Profitability has a positive but not significant effect on company value. Company size has a positive but not significant effect on company value. Leverage has a positive but not significant effect on company value. Dividend policy is unable to moderate the relationship between profitability and company value.

Abstract

Tourism sector companies play a significant role in the economy and represent a major source of state revenue. Tourism can be developed as a source of income, both for regional revenue and for the surrounding community. The purpose of this study is to determine the significance of the influence of cash flow, capital structure, and company size on stock prices through profitability. This study employs both descriptive and quantitative research methods. The population consists of 50 tourism sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2020–2023 period. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing were conducted using the Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application show that cash flow has a positive but insignificant effect on profitability, capital structure has a positive but insignificant effect on profitability, company size has a negative and significant effect on profitability, cash flow has a negative but insignificant effect on stock price, capital structure has a significant positive effect on stock price, company size has a positive but insignificant effect on stock price, profitability has a positive but insignificant effect on stock price, cash flow has a positive but insignificant effect on stock price through profitability, the capital structure has a positive but insignificant effect on stock price through profitability, and company size has a negative but insignificant effect on stock price through profitability.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to determine the influence of work competency, work compensation and work environment on the performance of ASN employees at the Kendit Community Health Center with job satisfaction as an intervening variable. The sampling technique used in this research is a saturated sample. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this research used the Partial Least Square Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, show that work competency has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction, work compensation has an insignificant effect on job satisfaction, work environment has a significant effect on job satisfaction, work competency has an insignificant effect on ASN performance, compensation work has no significant effect on ASN performance, work environment has no significant effect on ASN performance, job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on ASN performance, work competency has a significant effect on ASN performance through job satisfaction, work compensation has no significant effect on ASN performance through job satisfaction, The work environment has a positive and significant effect on ASN performance through job satisfaction.

Cafe is one of the places to relax and chat where visitors can order drinks and food. Cafe has quite a lot of potential in helping the economy in a region. Abstract

The role of human resource management is vital in ensuring a company's longevity by upholding and improving the caliber and efficiency of its workforce. The considerable effect of a company's requirement for impactful employees underscores the indispensability of human resources for every business. Organizations inherently possess tactics that impact both their own functioning and their staff. This study aims to scrutinize and validate the impact of human resource management strategies on enhancing employee performance at PT. Tambak Robil. The research encompasses all PT. Tambak Robil employees situated in Situbondo Regency. The sampling method employed is non-probability sampling using the exhaustive sample approach. Analyzing data and assessing hypotheses in this study are conducted using the Smart PLS 3.0 software (Partial Least Squares) alongside a Structural Equation Model. The outcomes of hypothesis testing through the Smart PLS 3.0 application demonstrate that the work environment exerts a noteworthy and positive impact on work discipline, while compensation also significantly bolsters work discipline. Additionally, the work environment substantially contributes to performance improvement, whereas compensation shows a negligible and unfavorable association with performance. Notably, work discipline prominently enhances performance. The results from the indirect effects analysis via Smart PLS 3.0 indicate that the work environment substantially enhances performance by operating through the conduit of work discipline. Similarly, compensation significantly enhances performance by channeling its influence through work discipline.
