Jurnal Mahasiswa Entrepreneurship (JME) Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Abdurachman Saleh Situbondo adalah jurnal yang ditulis oleh mahasiswa FEB UNARS sebagai jembatan antara ilmu dan praktek manajemen. JME mempublikasikan artikel baik berupa telaah pustaka maupun hasil penelitian empiris. JME menerima naskah dari berbagai bidang atau disiplin ilmu, seperti Keuangan, Manajemen Strategi, Pemasaran , Operasional dan Kewirausahaan . Kriteria utama untuk dapat diterima di JME adalah kemampuan untuk memberikan sumbangsih bagi perkembangan ilmu ekonomi khususnya manajemen. JME menerima kiriman naskah/artikel dalam bahasa Indonesia atau Inggris dan harus dinyatakan bahwa naskah yang dikirim tersebut, tidak dikirim atau belum pernah dipublikasikan dalam jurnal lainnya. Keputusan tentang pemuatan artikel dalam JME diambil melalui proses blind review oleh Dewan Redaksi dengan mempertimbangkan antara lain : orisinilitas, aktualitas serta signifikansi kontribusi artikel terhadap pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan maupun praktik dalam dunia nyata. Dewan redaksi akan memberikan telaah konstrutif dan jika dipandang perlu, menyampaikan hasil evaluasi kepada penulis artikel untuk ditanggapi dan didiskusikan. Untuk revisi kecil (minor revision), naskah yang telah diperbaiki bisa langsung mendapat persetujuan untuk dimuat. Artikel yang tidak memenuhi kriteria yang ditetapkan akan dikembalikan.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, business competition is fierce, where each company is required to meet consumer demand and create products that are unique and different from other competitors. Therefore, the company's efforts to develop new products can be an effective strategy for companies to seek as much profit or profit as possible. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence consumer buying interest through customer satisfaction as an intervening variable at Warung Seblak Prasmanan Mimbaan Situbondo. The target respondents of this study were consumers of Warung Seblak Prasmanan Mimbaan using the simple random sampling method. Data and hypothesis analysis using the Structural Equation Model-Partial Leas Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct effect hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application show that price has a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction. Service quality has a positive but insignificant effect on customer satisfaction. Consumer trust has a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction. Price has a positive but insignificant effect on consumer buying interest. Service quality has a significant positive effect on consumer buying interest. Consumer trust has a positive but insignificant effect on consumer buying interest. Customer satisfaction has a significant positive effect on consumer buying interest. Price has a significant positive effect on consumer buying interest through customer satisfaction through customer satisfaction. Service quality has a positive but insignificant effect on consumer buying interest through customer satisfaction. Consumer confidence has a significant positive effect on consumer buying interest through customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Banking has an important role in supporting the economy in a country. Banking is one of the State's financial institutions that is responsible for collecting and distributing funds to the public. The aim of this research is to analyze and test asset structure and liquidity on capital structure using company size as a moderating variable. This research uses quantitative research methods or uses secondary data. The population in this study used banking companies, in total there were 47 companies with a sample of 10 companies. The sampling technique uses non-probability sampling techniques with purposive sampling techniques. The data analysis and hypothesis testing in this research used the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart 3.0 application show that asset structure has a significant positive effect on capital structure, the liquidity has a negative but not significant effect on capital structure, the company size is significantly but negatively able to strengthen the influence of asset structure in improving capital structure. Furthermore, the company size is not significant but can positively weaken the influence of liquidity on capital structure.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the use of information technology and understanding of the regional financial accounting system on the quality of financial reports with the internal control system as a moderating variable at the Bondowoso District Health Service. This research method uses quantitative methods. This research was conducted for three months, namely from May to July 2023. The population in this study was 45 Bondowoso District Health Service employees. The research chose a saturated sampling technique because the population was relatively small, so the sample in this study used the entire population as respondents, 45 ASN in the PNS and P3K categories. Researchers used Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) to analyze data and test hypotheses in this research. The research results show that the use of information technology has a significant positive effect on the quality of financial reports; Understanding the regional financial accounting system has a significant positive effect on the quality of financial reports; The internal control system has a significant positive effect on the quality of financial reports at the Bondowoso District Health Service; The internal control system positively and significantly moderates the influence of the use of information technology on the quality of financial reports; The internal control system positively and significantly moderates the influence of understanding the regional financial accounting system on the quality of financial reports.

Abstract

The research objective was to determine the Analysis of the Factors Influencing Financial Management in High School Youth in Duwet Situbondo Village with Financial Inclusion as a Mediation Variable. In this study the sampling technique used was Saturated Sample with a total sample of 78. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM).The results of the direct effect hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, show that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on financial inclusion, financial attitudes have a positive and significant effect on financial inclusion, financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on financial management, financial attitudes have a negative but significant effect on Financial management, financial inclusion has a positive and significant effect on financial management, financial inclusion has a positive but not significant effect on financial management through financial inclusion, financial attitudes have a positive and significant effect on financial management through financial inclusion.

Abstract

The LQ45 Index is one of the stock price indices. Selecting stock values ​​with a high level of liquidity can be the right choice for investors to reduce the risk of future losses. The shares of companies listed in the LQ45 Index are a collection of 45 companies with liquidity selected with various selection criteria. The level of liquidity in the LQ45 Index has high stocks and a large market capitalization. This study aims to determine the effect of Debt Policy, Liquidity, and Profitability on Company Value with Stock Price in LQ45 companies as an intervening variable. This study uses a quantitative research method. The population in this study consisted of companies listed in the LQ45 Index, with a sample of 12 companies. The sampling technique used in this study is purposive sampling. This study's data analysis and hypothesis testing used the Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results of hypothesis testing regarding the direct impact using Smart PLS 3.0 show that debt policy has a negative but insignificant effect on stock prices, liquidity has a negative but insignificant effect on stock prices, profitability has a significant negative effect on stock prices, debt policy has a significant negative effect on company value, liquidity has a significant negative effect on company value, profitability has a negative but insignificant effect on company value, stock prices have a negative but insignificant effect on company value. The indirect effect hypothesis test results show that the debt policy variable has a positive but insignificant effect on company value through stock prices, liquidity has a positive but insignificant effect on company value through stock prices, and profitability has a positive but insignificant effect on company value through stock prices.

Abstract

Student organization is a forum or means for students to increase knowledge and improve their intellectual and personal welfare in order to achieve university goals. One of the important aspects in an organization is its performance, because performance plays a very important role in the running of organizational activities. Aspects that can support to improve performance are organizational communication and motivation. This study aims to determine the role of organizational communication and motivation in improving the performance of BEM FEB UNARS. This research method uses qualitative methods with structured and closed interview techniques. This interview was conducted with 3 students who were directly involved in the BEM FEB organization. The results showed that organizational communication and motivation greatly affect the performance of BEM FEB.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of Capital Structure, Liquidity, and Leverage on Firm Value with Profit Growth as an Intervening Variable in Retail Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2019-2022. The population in this study consists of all retail companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), totaling 32 companies. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling, resulting in 9 samples. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study utilize the Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. The hypothesis testing results of direct and indirect effects using Smart PLS 3.0 indicate that The Capital Structure does not significantly influence Profit Growth. Liquidity does not significantly influence Profit Growth. Leverage does not significantly influence Profit Growth. Capital Structure has a positive and significant influence on Firm Value. Liquidity does not significantly influence Firm Value. Leverage does not significantly influence Firm Value. The results of indirect effect hypothesis testing show that Capital Structure does not significantly influence Firm Value through Profit Growth. Liquidity does not significantly influence Firm Value through Profit Growth. Leverage does not significantly influence Firm Value through Profit Growth.

Abstract

A cafe is a place to relax and chat where visitors can order drinks and food. Cafes have the potential for a solid national economic base and labor absorption that can impact a region's economy. This study aimed to analyze the effect of promotion and brand image on purchasing decisions, with consumer satisfaction as a moderating variable. The population in this study were Foodhouse consumers in Situbondo. The sampling technique was determined by simple random sampling. This study's data analysis and hypothesis testing used the Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct effect hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application show that promotion has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions, brand image has a positive but insignificant impact on buying decisions, customer satisfaction negatively weakens the relationship between the influence of promotion on buying decisions, customer satisfaction positively weakens the relationship between the influence of brand image on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Regional Public Company (Perumda) of Air Minum Tirta Baluran Situbondo Regency is a regional drinking water company committed to providing clean, healthy and affordable drinking water for the people of Situbondo Regency, East Java. This study aimed to analyze and test the effect of work discipline and work environment on performance in permanent employees of Regional Public Company (Perumda) of Air Minum Tirta Baluran Situbondo Regency with work ethic as a moderating variable. The population in this study were permanent employees of the Regional Public Company (Perumda) of Air Minum Tirta Baluran Situbondo Regency. Sampling technique using a saturated sampling technique. This study's data analysis and hypothesis testing used the Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of hypothesis testing using the Smart PLS 3.0 application show that work discipline has a significant positive effect on performance, work environment has a considerable positive impact on performance, work ethic has a negative but insignificant effect on moderating the relationship between work discipline variables on performance, work ethic has a positive but insignificant effect on moderating the relationship between work environment variables on performance.

Abstract

In general, marketing is an activity that creates and delivers goods or services to consumers. It is a process by which companies create value for customers and build strong customer bases to capture value from customers in return. Marketing is an organizational function and set of processes for creating, communicating and delivering value to customers and cultivating customer relationships in ways that benefit the organization and its specific interests for BRI Unit Panji customers by increasing the needs of people in Situbondo. The purpose of this study is to analyze and test factors which influence customer satisfaction at Bank BRI Panji with customer satisfaction as an intervening variable. The population in this study are customers of BRI Unit Panji in Situbondo. The sampling method is determined by probability sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study use Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct effect hypothesis testing that used the Smart PLS 3.0 application showed that communication has a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction, products have a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction, communication has a positive but not significant effect on customer loyalty, products have a positive but not significant effect on customer loyalty. Customer satisfaction has a significant positive effect on customer loyalty, communication has a positive but not significant effect on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction, products have a significant positive effect on customer loyalty through customer satisfaction.
