Abstract

The incorporation of philosophical viewpoints in management is crucial given the intricacies of organisational decision-making frequently confronted with ethical difficulties. This study seeks to establish a framework that incorporates philosophical principles into managerial practices to enhance decision-making efficacy in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. The employed methodology was quantitative analysis utilising Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) to assess the correlation between the implementation of philosophical concepts and decision quality. The findings indicate a substantial disparity in the incorporation of philosophical viewpoints in management and decision-making, with businesses that embrace ethical principles generally yielding judgements that are more sustainable and attuned to stakeholder requirements. The findings underscore the necessity of implementing philosophy-based frameworks in management practices, while also offering direction for organisational leaders to foster a more ethical and innovative workplace culture. This research also creates prospects for more studies on the use of philosophy within a wider corporate setting.

Abstract

In the current era, customers are more critical and intelligent in determining which bank to use so banks need to understand customer needs and preferences more deeply. Optimal service quality is one of the keys to retaining and attracting customers. The purpose of this study is to analyze service quality and its impact on BCA customer satisfaction, which is then expected to provide more insight into this matter. The research method used is qualitative with literature study data collection. The results of this study indicate that BCA's service quality is very good, but still needs to be improved, especially regarding digital services. Then, service quality can have an impact on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy implemented by Juan Jaya Sandals in utilizing the digital era in optimizing market potential. The study uses a qualitative method. Respondents in this study were MSME owners who adopted digital marketing, namely Juan Jaya Sandals. Primary data was used in the study using observation and interviews. The study was conducted in October 2024. The results of this study indicate that MSMEs face challenges in understanding and implementing digital marketing effectively. The managerial implications of this study are that Juan Jaya Sandals requires learning and coaching from related parties to support the sustainability of this business.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the effectiveness of human resource risk management in dealing with employee data security risks in the technology sector. Given the increasing threats to information security, especially in today's digital age, this research uses a qualitative approach with systematic literature analysis of various related articles and studies. The results show that the existence of clear security policies and procedures, regular employee training, the use of appropriate technology, and an organizational culture that supports information security are key factors that influence the effectiveness of risk management. In addition, evaluation and gathering feedback from employees are important elements in adjusting policies to meet evolving security challenges. This research provides recommendations for companies in the technology sector to improve their risk management systems through the integration of comprehensive policies, effective training programs, and the implementation of advanced technology, in order to protect employee data and increase trust within the organization.

Abstract

Business is a very important thing in the economy, Islam views business as something that must be done but must comply with the rules that have been set in Islam. This article aims to provide information to readers, both prospective entrepreneur students, prospective entrepreneurs so that they can understand in theory how to be an entrepreneur in accordance with Islamic teachings. The research method used in this article is descriptive qualitative. The results of this study are that there are several values ​​that must be applied by business people in doing business, including honesty, justice, and ukhuwah.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the financial performance of two manufacturing companies in the mining sub-sector in Indonesia, namely PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk and PT Batulicin Nusantara Maritim Tbk during the period 2019-2023. The analysis was carried out using financial ratios including liquidity, operational efficiency, solvency, and profitability. The results of the study indicate that PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk has better financial performance than PT Batulicin Nusantara Maritim Tbk. PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk excels in the stability of the current ratio which is consistently above the safe limit, reflecting the company's ability to meet short-term obligations. In addition, operational efficiency is demonstrated through fast inventory turnover, effective management of receivables, and optimization of the use of fixed assets, all of which contribute to increased cash flow and revenue. These findings indicate the importance of good financial management to support the sustainability and competitiveness of companies in the mining sector.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and describe the financial performance of PT Sri Rejeki Isman Tbk from 2013 until 2019. The method used in this study was quantitative descriptive analysis using profitability ratio measurements which were then concluded by trend analysis. The data used in this study was secondary data with documentation studies obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the form of company financial statements from 2013 until 2019.The results of this study indicated that Net Profit Margin had a positive trend, so that the financial performance in the research year was in a good condition. Return on Assets had a negative trend, so that the financial performance in the year of the study was in an unfavorable condition. Return on Equity had a negative trend, so that the financial performance in the research year was not in a good condition

Abstract

Patchouli oil is a potential Indonesian essential oil that is widely traded in the world market. This study aims to analyze patchouli farming financially using the B/C Ratio, Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return and Payback Period at an interest rate of 9% in patchouli farming in Pasaman District. The method used in this study is a survey. The data analysis used in this study is quantitative descriptive, aimed at determining the financial feasibility of patchouli farming using investment criteria in the form of B/C Ratio, Net Present Value, Internal Rate of Return and Payback Period. From the investment criteria study, it was found that patchouli farming is feasible to be implemented, with a B/C Ratio value of 1.09. The NPV value is IDR 16,524,016.00, -. The IRR value is 97.00%. The Payback Period value is 5 years 10 months 7 days.

Abstract

Digital transformation has changed the way companies do business, including in the marketing aspect which is now shifting to digital platforms as the main strategy. Digital marketing requires an approach that is not only technology-based, but also supported by competent and strategic human resources (HR). In the digital era, the need for special competencies such as data analytics, social media management, and interactive content design is becoming increasingly important. However, the challenges that are often faced include weak employee competencies, resistance to change, and limited budgets for training and skills development. To overcome these challenges, companies need to implement a proactive HR management strategy, including organizing ongoing training, implementing supporting technology, and establishing an innovative and adaptive work culture.

Abstract

Collaboration between Human Resources (HR) and Marketing divisions strategically builds competitive advantage amidst increasingly complex market competition. The Human Resources (HR) division manages human resources as the company's main asset, while the Marketing division focuses on strategies to meet market needs and strengthen customer relationships. When these two divisions work collaboratively, they can create significant added value for the organization. The success of the collaboration depends on several factors, such as effective communication, a work culture that supports cross-divisional collaboration, and the use of technology to support data-based decision-making. The main challenges in this collaboration include differences in operational objectives between the Human Resources (HR) and Marketing divisions, lack of coordination, and obstacles in aligning strategic priorities. However, these challenges can be overcome with a structured approach to create optimal synergy.
