Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to improve physics learning outcomes for class XI SMA Negeri 1 Bulukumba through implementing the independent flow. This type of research is Collaborative Classroom Action Research (PTK). The research method used is PTK from C. Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which consists of three stages, namely action planning, action implementation and observation, and reflection. The subjects in this research were students in class XI.3 of SMA Negeri 1 Bulukumba for the 2023/2024 academic year with a total of 35 students. The data collection instrument used in this research was a physics learning outcomes test which was analyzed using descriptive statistics. This research was carried out in two cycles. The results of this research show that the average learning outcome to cycle I was 78 and in cycle II it increased to 85. Classical completeness increased in cycle I by 66% and in cycle II by 89%. This shows that the percentage of student learning outcomes has increased each cycle. Based on this research, it can be concluded that the application of independent flow can improve the physics learning outcomes of students. Keywords: Independent Flow, Physics, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to improve the physics learning outcomes of students through the application of discovery learning model with peer tutor method. The type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) with Kurt Lewin model design. The research subjects were X IPA 1 class at UPT SMAN 4 Gowa in the 2023/2024 school year. Data collection techniques used written tests. Data analysis techniques used quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed an increase in physics learning outcomes. The average value of physics learning outcomes before the action was 61,54 with a percentage of completeness of 23,33% in the very less category. The average value of physics learning outcomes in cycle I was 74,55 with a percentage of completeness of 54,17% in the less category. The average value of physics learning outcomes in cycle II was 75,71 with a percentage of completeness of 65,52% in the sufficient category. Thus, the discovery learning model with a peer tutor approach can improve physics learning outcomes in class X IPA 1 at UPT SMAN 4 Gowa. Keywords: learning outcomes, discovery learning, peer tutoring

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to analyze the effect of using the Canva media application in improving English speaking skills. This research was conducted using library research-based research methods (library research), with data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study explain that the classroom action research procedure begins with the procedure for identifying learning problems encountered by educators in class, then carrying out problem formulation, conducting research, analyzing data and writing reports. Abstract

Abstract. The research aimed to enhance students' interest in learning English by utilizing various interactive learning media. The researcher conducted this study as a Classroom Action Research in collaboration with an English teacher at the target school. The study was divided into four phases, which included planning, action, observation, and reflection, further categorized into two cycles, namely Cycle I and Cycle II. The study involved a total of 30 eighth-grade students as participants. Data collection methods included pre-assessment and post-assessment scores, questionnaires, and observations. After analyzing and comparing the data between Cycle I and Cycle II, the researcher observed a significant improvement in students' learning interest (reaching over 80%) and their academic achievement (reaching 66.66%) due to the use of interactive learning media. Additionally, there was a notable increase in student engagement during the learning process (exceeding 36.66%) in Cycle II. Consequently, it can be concluded that interactive learning media can effectively address the issue of students' learning interest, as a common challenge faced by teachers. Keywords: Interactive learning media, Learning Interest, English Learning

Abstract

Abstract. This classroom action research aims to enhance the science process skills of students at SMA 22 Gowa through the use of PhET Electricity simulations with a discovery learning model. The research is conducted in two cycles, with the participation of students from class XII MIPA 1 as the research subjects. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection, focusing on the development of science process skills. During the research, students were given access to PhET Electricity simulations, allowing them to conduct virtual experiments and interactively observe concepts of static and dynamic electrical physics. The results of the research show a significant improvement in the science process skills of students after implementing the simulation. They demonstrated improvement in the ability to identify variables, formulate hypotheses, plan experiments, predict, communicate, and interpret data. PhET Electricity simulations based on discovery learning can enhance the science process skills of students in the second cycle. Keywords: discovery learning, science process skills, PhET electricity simulation

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to improve students' collaboration skills by applying a project-based learning model in physics subjects in class X SMA Negeri 1 Soppeng. This research is a Classroom Action Collaboration Research that aims to overcome the problems found in the classroom. The research subjects were students of class X.4 odd semester of the 2023/2024 school year totaling 36 students. The research was conducted in two cycles and at the end of each cycle a reflection was carried out on the actions taken. Data collection techniques in the study using observation sheets and documentation. The results showed that the average percentage of collaboration of students in cycle I was 68.18% and cycle II was 80.18%. There was an increase in percentage which proves that the project-based learning model can improve the collaboration skills of class X students at SMA Negeri 1 Soppeng in physics subjects. Keywords: Project-based learning model, collaboration skills, class action research

Abstract

Abstract. This study aims to improve students' speaking skills in procedure text by using demonstration method integrated with Culturally Responsive Teaching. This study used a collaborative classroom action research. A total of 36 students from class X AKL 2 SMK Negeri 1 Kendari became the subjects and one English teacher became the collaborator of this research. The results showed that the percentage of students' speaking ability was still very low at 25%. According to the facts discovered, the learning process has not gone as intended. Finally, there was a notable improvement following the use of the demonstrative method coupled with CRT (Culturally Responsive Teaching) which reached 36.11% in cycle I and 97.22% in cycle II. This shows that this demonstration method is very effective to be used by teachers in improving students' speaking skills because it can make the learning process more active, creative, and the ability of students to increase so that the atmosphere of learning becomes more fun.Keywords: Speaking, Procedure Text, Demonstration Method, CRT.

Abstract

Abstract. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan minat belajar fisika peserta didik kelas XII MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 3 Bulukumba Tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024 melalui penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif Lumio. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK), dengan subjek penelitian 33 peserta didik yang terdiri dari 13 laki-laki dan 20 perempuan. Keberhasilan penelitian ini ditentukan apabila minat peserta didik terhadap pelajaran fisika secara klasikal sangat tinggi. Cara pengambilan data yaitu angket minat belajar peserta didik dengan analisis presentasi. Hasil penelitian diperoleh minat belajar fisika pra siklus 50 %, kategori rendah, siklus I 70 % kategori tinggi, dan siklus II 80 % kategori sangat tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil ini dapat dikatakan bahwa minat belajar peserta didik mengalami peningkatan dan mencapai indikator keberhasilan. Keywords: Minat belajar, media pembelajaraan interaktif lumio

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to improve the physics learning outcomes of class XI students by using PhET simulation media. The type of research carried out was classroom action research with three cycles. There are five stages in this research, including the preparation stage, planning stage, implementation stage, observation and monitoring stage, and reflection stage. There are two types of instruments used in research, namely quantitative and qualitative. Quantitative instruments in the form of questionnaires and academic ability tests. Student questionnaires are given at the end of each cycle, questionnaires for teachers are given at the beginning and are used in analyzing teacher needs. Meanwhile, qualitative instruments use learning observations, interviews, field notes and documentation analysis. With research subjects totaling 32 students. After the cycle the class average was 65,7 but had not yet reached the KKM so cycle II was carried out. From the second cycle, the class average was obtained at 68,9, this increase also did not meet the KKM, so the third cycle was carried out and the class average was 78,6. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the use of PhET simulation learning media can improve the learning outcomes of class XI IPA 2 students at SMA Negeri 1 Selayar. Keywords: PhET Simulation, classroom action research, learning outcomes
