Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in physics learning outcomes of students in class XII-IPA 4 SMA Negeri 2 Bantaeng on dynamic electrical (Direct Current) material by using a learning model Problem Based Learning with the help of kahoot media. The type of research used this time is collaborative classroom action research (PTK) which consists of 2 cycles. The research subjects were 31 students of class XII IPA 4.  Data collection is through teacher observation and giving tests at the end of each cycle. Based on the results of this research, the average value of student learning outcomes was 60.97 in cycle 1 and 81.48 in cycle 2. Classical mastery of learning outcomes reached 48.39% in cycle 1 and 87.10% in cycle 2. So the conclusion in this research is there is an increase in the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes by 38.71%. Keywords: Kahoot Media, Physics Learning Outcomes, Problem Based Learning

Abstract

Abstract. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik di kelas X5, UPT SMA Negeri 21 Makassar terhadap teks deskriptif melalui penggunaan fitur mind map pada aplikasi Canva yang berlangsung selama 2 siklus yang dilaksanakan selama siklus 4 dan siklus 5 di masa PPL 2. Desain penelitian dari penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) kolaboratif yaitu PTK yang dilakukan dengan kerjasama antara guru pamong dan mahasiswa PPG Prajabatan. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik mengalami peningkatan pemahaman terhadap teks deskriptif selama 2 siklus dimana setiap siklusnya terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Keywords: Teks deskriptif, pemahaman, SMA, canva

Abstract

Abstract. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatakan hasil belajar bahasa inggris melalui penerapan Model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada peserta didik Kelas VIII.2 di UPT SPF SMPN 18 Makassar dengan menggunakan Metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK).  Subyek penelitian ini adalah  siswa kelas VIII-2 UPT SPF SMPN 18 Makassar yang terdiri dari 27 Peserta Didik. Objek penelitian adalah hasil belajar bahasa Inggris. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis efektivitas model PBL untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar bahasa Inggris. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tes hasil belajar dan dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian tindakan ini dikatakan berhasil bila mencapai nilai rerata minimal 80 dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal minimal 85%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada pra siklus milai rerata 75 dengan ketuntasan klasikal rerata 48%.  Siklus I nilai rerata 80 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 67%. Sedangkan pada siklus II, nilai rerata sebesar 86 dan ketuntasan klasikal mencapai 89%. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas VIII.2 UPT SPF SMPN 18 Makassar semester 2 tahun pelajaran 2023/2024 dalam dua siklus Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Hasil Belajar, Bahasa Inggris

Abstract

Abstract. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik melalui penerapan model pembelajaran discovery learning pada materi vektor kelas XI. Hal ini didasari pada kendala kurangnya daya tangkap dan kemampuan peserta didik dalam memaknai konsep materi fisika disebabkan karena penerapan model pembelajaran yang kurang sesuai. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitan Tindakan Kelas Kolaboratif. Adapun subjek penelitian tersebut yaitu peserta didik kelas XI FISIKA SMAN 6 Wajo tahun ajaran 2023/2024, dengan jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 36 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan Instrumen tes uji kompetensi kepada peserta didik. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data statistik kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model Discovery Learning dengan persentase ketuntasan hasil belajar peserta didik siklus meningkat, mulai dari 22,20% pada prasiklus menjadi 61,10% pada siklus I, begitu juga pada siklus I yang awalnya dari persentase peserta didik yaitu 61,1% meningkat menjadi 97,2% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning dinyatakan optimal dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran fisika materi vektor peserta didik kelas XI di SMAN 6 Wajo. Keywords: Discovery Learning, Penetilitian Tindakan Kelas, Hasil Belajar

Abstract. The study was conducted in two cycles, consisting of: planning, implementation, analysis, reflection. The first cycle is obtained, the students activity consider the teacher's explanation 57.14%, using the laboratory equipment of 22.86%. cooperation between students in the group 28.57%, asking questions11.43%, answering teachers questions 45.71%, expressed ideas 8.57%, draw conclusions 42.85%. make reporting 51.43%, punctuality 42.86%. Learning outcomes mean 66.60, highs 79.00, lows 53.00, classical completeness 57.14%. In the second cycle of the student activity increased to 94.28%. Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study was to discover how students' speaking skills improved via the voice over in terms of two aspects of accuracy: pronunciation and vocabulary. This investigation was conducted in the first grade of SMAN 4 Bulukumba in the province of South Sulawesi, Indonesia. This study's sample included 32 students, 12 male students and 20 female students. The researcher employed a speaking exam to collect data on the progress of students' speaking in terms of two aspects of correctness, namely pronunciation and vocabulary, during the implementation of the voice over. The study was carried out in a single cycle of four meetings. The research findings revealed that implementing a voice over could increase students' speaking abilities. According to the research, the students' mean D-test score was 46.50 in cycle I and improved to 80.30 in cycle II. The improvement rate in speaking ability was 72.70%. It is possible to conclude that incorporating a voice over into the instructional process benefits students' speaking abilities. Keywords: Speaking Skill, Voice Over, Class Action Research

Abstract

Abstract. This report aims to investigate the effectiveness of implementing the "Mistake Buster" technique as a self-reflective-based approach in improving English grammar proficiency among 10th-grade students in Makassar. This study employs a mixed-method design, combining quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis. The study participants consist of 30 students who underwent a 2-cycle intervention using the "Mistake Buster" technique. This intervention focuses on active student engagement in identifying and rectifying their grammar errors through self-reflection. Students are involved in various activities, such as error analysis, peer feedback, and targeted grammar exercises. Quantitative data were collected through pre and post-tests to measure the level of students' grammar proficiency before and after the intervention. The results indicate a significant improvement in students' grammar scores, demonstrating the effectiveness of the "Mistake Buster" technique in enhancing grammar proficiency. Overall, these findings suggest that the "Mistake Buster" technique, as a self-reflective-based approach, can effectively enhance English grammar proficiency among 10th-grade students. This technique encourages student engagement, self-directed learning, and collaborative problem-solving, enabling students to identify, rectify, and avoid grammar errors more effectively.. Keywords: action research, grammar proficiency, self-reflection, "Mistake Buster" technique, 10th-grade students, English language learning

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to determine the Physics learning outcomes of class XI MIPA students at SMAN 3 Majene for the 2023/2024 academic year, through the use of website-based learning media. This is based on the diagnosis results that the physics learning outcomes of students in this class are low. This research is classroom action research with a model design according to Coghlan's opinion with the steps: 1) Diagnosis; 2) Planning actions; 3) Take action; and 4) Evaluate actions. This research consisted of two cycles, the subjects in this research were class XI MIPA 1 students, totaling 23 people. Based on the results of descriptive analysis, information was obtained that the average learning outcome of students in the initial condition was 60. After learning cycle I the average learning outcome of students was 73 and in cycle II it was 83. These results indicate that the use of website-based learning media can improve physics learning outcomes for class XI MIPA 1 students at SMAN 3 Majene. Keywords: Website Based Learning, Physics Learning Results, SMAN 3 Majene

Abstract

Abstract. This Classroom Action Research (CAR) is motivated by the low learning autcomes of students in the subject of English, particulary in the area of Narrative Text. This is due to the conventional teaching approach, which is more teacher –centered. The aim of this Classroom Action Research (CAR) is to improve the students activity and learning aoutcomes in English language learning, spesifically in the area of narrative text, in class X.5 at SMAN 3 Bantaeng through the implementation od Problem Based-Learning (PBL). The benefit of this Classroom Action Research (CAR) is contribute ideas for transforming teaching from a teacher-centered approach to a student-centered approach through the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL). Consequently, students will be actively involved in searching, discovering, and acquiring knowledge on their own. This classroom Action research (CAR) consist of two cycle. Data for this research were collected from both teachers (observers) and students through observations, test, and documentation. Based on the research data from cycle I to cycle II, it is evident that both the students activity and their learning outcomes in the learning process, through the implementation of Problem Based_learning (PBL), have significantly improved compared to the previous lecture-based method . In conclution, the application of Problem Based-Learning (PBL) can improve the students activity and learning outcomes in English language learning, specifically in the area of Narrative Text, in class X.5 at SMAN 3 Bantaeng. Keywords: problem based-learning, students achievement, narrative text

Abstract

Abstract. Rendahnya keaktifan dan aktivitas peserta didik dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris, maka diperlukan model pembelajaran yang bersifat student centered. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk meningkatkan aktivitas, keaktifan serta minat peserta didik yaitu model PjBL. Melalui PjBL peserta didik diposisikan sebagai pusat belajar yang aktif sehingga pengalaman belajar lebih mendalam dan mantap, yang berdampak pada meningkatnya minat belajar pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning yang valid, efektif, layak dan praktis untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris peserta didik SMP. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (R&D) dengan langkah-langkah penelitian menggunakan ADDIE. Model yang dikembangkan adalah model Pembelajaran Project Based Learning Bahasa Inggris yang berbasis Student Center. Studi pendahuluan  dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Penerapan metode pembelajaran PjBL dapat melatih dan meningkatkan kemampuan peserta didik dalam berkomunikasi baik itu dalam proses pembuatan proyek maupun dalam melaporkan hasil yang didapat. Tahap pengembangan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris meliputi desain model dari pengembangan perangkat  pembelajaran PjBL. Model yang dikembangkan diberi nama Model pembelajaran Project Based Learning Bahasa Inggris Mendesain Short Functionsl Text (Announcement dan Notice). Hasil yang diperoleh yaitu minat belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris mendesain Announcement dan Notice mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I, minat belajar peserta didik berada pada presentase 60%. Pada siklus II mengalami peningkatan dengan persentase 65 %. Pada siklus III meningkat menjadi 80%, hal ini melebihi capaian target yaitu 75%. Minat belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris mendesain Short Functional Text (Announcement dan Notice) dengan capaian 80% berada  pada kategori A atau sangat baik. Keywords: English Learning; Project-Based Learning; Short Functional Text (Announcement dan Notice)
