Abstract

Abstract. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menelaah penggunaan media kahoot! Dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar Bahasa Inggris Siswa Kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 2 Balocci. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah penelitian tindakan kelas dengan tiga siklus dengan jumlah sampel 25 orang siswa kelas VIII. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi Kahoot! Meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik pada siklus 1 dengan presentase 64%, pada siklus 2 sebanyak 71% dan pada siklus 3 sebanyak 82%. Keywords: Penelitian Tindakan Kelas, Aplikasi Kahoot, Hasil Belajar Bahasa Inggris

Abstract

Abstract. This classroom action research aims to improve students' numeracy literacy skills by applying the problem-based learning model carried out in class XI.12 in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year with a total of 36 students. This research was conducted in two cycles. Data was collected using the results of students' numeracy ability tests. The data obtained was collected and analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, where the indicator of the success of this research was an increase in the N-Gain pretest-posttest value of students' numeracy abilities during each learning cycle. The research results showed that the N-Gain value of students' numeracy abilities in the first cycle was 0.35 in the medium category. In the second cycle, it increased to 0.72 in the high category. Thus, using the problem-based learning model can improve students' numeracy abilities. Keywords: Literasi, numerasi, problem based learning

Abstract

Abstract. Masalah yang sering dihadapi guru fisika kelas X  adalah hasil belajar peserta didik yang rendah. Hal ini didukung oleh hasil asesmen diagnostik kognitif yang diberikan pada peserta didik kelas X.6 yang memperoleh nilai rata-rata kelas sebesar 68,56 yang menunjukkan kemampuan awal dalam pembelajaran fisika dan tingkat ketuntasan sebesar 29,63% yang masih perlu ditingkatkan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penggunaan alur MERDEKA dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik di SMA Negeri 3 Gowa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) Kolaboratif. Subjeknya adalah peserta didik kelas X.6 yang berjumlah 27 orang peserta didik. Desain PTK meliputi perencanaan, tindakan dan observasi, serta refleksi. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan tes. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian siklus I peserta didik memperoleh nilai rata-rata hasil belajar fisika sebesar 70,52 dan tingkat ketuntasan peserta didik sebesar 40,74%. Hal tersebut meningkat dari hasil prasiklus sebelumnya. Selanjutnya pada siklus II nilai rata-rata hasil belajar fisika peserta didik meningkat menjadi 86,22 dengan tingkat ketuntasan peserta didik sebesar 74,07%. Berdasarkan hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan alur MERDEKA dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar fisika peserta didik. Keywords: Alur MERDEKA, fisika, hasil belajar

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to determine the increase in students' motivation to learn physics after implementing Kahoot in classroom learning. This type of research is Collaborative Classroom Action Research (PTK). This research was conducted at SMAN 2 Makassar with the research subjects, namely class X-3, totalling 36 students. Data collection was carried out in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year using a physics learning motivation questionnaire test instrument, which was tested first using validity and reliability tests. The results of the research showed that there was an increase in students' motivation to learn physics in cycles I and II. In the pre-cycle, the percentage of students' motivation to learn physics was 54.34%, which was in the low category. Then, there was an increase in cycle I with a percentage of 76.95%, which was in the high category, and again increased in cycle II with a percentage of 83.70% in the very high category. Therefore, referring to the results of this research, the application of Kahoot can increase the motivation to learn physics of class X-3 participants at SMAN 2 Makassar Keywords: Kahoot, Learning Media, Motivation, Motivation to Learn Physics

Abstract

Abstract. The objective of this study is to investigate how the utilization of Word Wall website as an instructional tool impacts the enhancement of students' common vocabulary usage in the context of Daily Activities. The research employed a Classroom Action Research approach, utilizing data from pre-tests, cycle reflections, and post-tests to monitor students' progress throughout the learning process. The study involved 25 students from class VII C at UPT SMPN Benteng Utara No 04 Kepulauan Selayar as research participants. Data gathered from the pre-test, cycle reflections, and post-test were subjected to analysis through the calculation of average scores and their categorization into different groups. The results of this investigation, which centered on the implementation of Word Wall website for teaching Daily Activities, indicated a significant improvement in students' performance. Initially, 64% of the students were classified as having low proficiency (Very Low and Low) in the subject. However, by the conclusion of cycle 2, as indicated by the post-test data, none of the students remained in the low category; instead, they had all progressed to the 'High and Very High' category. Keywords: Word Wall Website, common vocabulary, daily activities

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to determine the improvement in students' physics learning outcomes by using the problem based learning model. This research was classroom action research with research subjects in class XI MIPA 2 as many as 30 students. This classroom action research was conducted at SMAN 6 Enrekang. This research was carried out using two cycles of action or cycles, where each cycle consists of four stages, namely: 1) Design (Planning), 2) Implementation of Activities and Observations (Acting), 3) Observation (Observing), and 4) Reflection ( Reflecting). Based on the research that has been conducted, it was found that the average physics learning outcome of students in cycle I was 70.90 and the average physics learning outcome of students in cycle II was 75.90. Based on the research and discussions that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the application of the problem based learning model can improve students' physics learning outcomes. Keywords: Problem Based Learning Model, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah melalui model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berkolaborasi dan hasil belajar Bahasa Inggrisdi kelas VII.K SMPN 1 Sungguminasa semester genap tahun pelajaran 2022/2023. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian ini terdiri atas empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi, yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus di SMPN 1 Sungguminasa. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik di kelas VII.K SMPN 1 Sungguminasa, dengan jumlah peserta didik 41 orang, terdiri dari 16 orang laki-laki dan 25 orang perempuan. Penelitian ini berlangsung dari awal Maret 2023 sampai dengan awal April 2023. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Berdasarkan hasil penilaian PTK diperoleh informasi bahwa model Project Based Learning (PjBL) terbukti dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berkolaborasi dan hasil belajar Bahasa Inggris di kelas VII.K. Dari analisa data terlihat adanya peningkatan kemampuan berkolaborasi peserta didik dari pra siklus ke siklus I sebesar 13% dan 22,3% dari siklus I ke siklus II. Nilai hasil belajar Bahasa Inggris juga mengalami peningkatan. Nilai hasil belajar Bahasa Inggris peserta didik dari pra siklus ke siklus I sebesar 75% dan dari siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 7,5%. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berkolaborasi dan hasil belajar Bahasa Inggris di kelas VII.K SMPN 1 Sungguminasa Kata Kunci: Kolaborasi, Hasil Belajar, Project Based Learning (PjBL)

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to determine the application of the Problem-Based Learning learning model to improve the learning outcomes of class XI PLF 1 SMA N 1 Ternate students on vector material. This type of research is Collaborative Class Action Research (PTK). The subjects in this research were students in class XI PLF 1 SMA N 1 Ternate for the 2023/2024 academic year, totalling 28 students. The data collection instrument used in this research was a physics learning outcomes test, analyzed using descriptive statistics. This research was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle stage consists of action planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research results show that the percentage of student learning outcomes has increased in each cycle. In cycle I, the posttest results showed an average percentage value of 65.36% and a completion percentage of 64.29%. Meanwhile, in cycle II, the posttest results showed an average percentage value of 77.39% and a completion percentage of 85.71%. Applying the Problem-Based Learning learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class XI PLF 1 SMA N 1 Ternate students on vector material. Keywords: Problem Based Learning, Learning Outcomes, Classroom Action Research

Abstract

Abstract. This study was pre-experimental research that aimed to find out whether the use of comic strip improves EFL students' speaking skill at UPT SPF SMPN 23 Makassar. The independent variable of this study is the use of comic strip and the dependent variable is the students' speaking skill. The population of this study was all the students of VIII Classes of UPT SPF SMPN 23 Makassar and the sample was VIII.1 class with 37 students. The research sample was selected by using a cluster random sampling. The research data were obtained by giving an assignment about ask and giving information about experiences of Independence Day in dialogue to the pretest and posttest. The analysis technique used in this research was descriptive statistical and inferential statistical techniques. Based on the analysis results, P = 0.000 is smaller than α = 0.05 and the students’ mean score in posttest (76.75) was higher than the students’ mean score in the pretest (57.02). So, it was concluded that the use of comic strip significantly improved the speaking skill of EFL students at UPT SPF SMPN 23 Makassar. This research only focused on the use of Comic Strip in theme Celebrating Independence Day in improving students' speaking skill. Future researchers may be able to conduct research to find out how comic strip can improve other skills such as listening, reading, and writing. Keywords: Comic Strip, Speaking Skill, Project-Based Learning

Abstract

Abstract. Technology is growing and becoming the most influential thing in the life of every human being and cannot be denied anymore. One of the things that contributes to the impact of increasingly sophisticated technology is education. In the era of increasingly advanced information and communication technology, the use of digital learning media is an attractive alternative to improve student learning outcomes. One of the digital learning media that can be used is Wordwall. Wordwall is an online learning platform that provides a variety of interactive activities such as flashcards, quizzes and word games. This research was conducted using the method of classroom action research (CAR). Data collection was obtained through test methods, observation guides and interviews. Analysis of test results showed that students experienced a consistent increase in learning outcomes in both cycles when compared to learning outcomes during the preliminary study. The success criteria can also be seen from the results of implementing Actions in both cycles. Supporting data through observation also shows that the use of wordwall media can improve student learning outcomes. Keywords: Learning outcomes; Wordwall web media; Notice
