Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the comparison of the use of learning models that are applied (Learning Cycle and Lecture learning models) in economic subjects with government policy material in the economy in class IX science (Specialization) SMAN 9 Jambi City. Based on the results of the study, an analysis was obtained in the control class (the results of the initial pretest were 6 students who graduated and at the final pretest as many as 8 students graduated). Meanwhile, in the experimental class (the results of the initial pretest were 8 students who graduated and in the final pretest as many as 15 students who graduated from KKM). Meanwhile, in the control class post test as many as 23 students did not pass the KKM (67.65%), and only 11 students passed the KKM (32.35%), and in the experimental class post test students who had grades below KKM 8 students (23.53%) and above KKM 26 students (76.47%). Thus, it can be concluded that the Learning Cycle learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills, and help students be more focused in learning compared to the lecture learning model. Because when the teaching and learning process is more centered on the student's role and not dominated by the teacher's role, it is different from the lecture learning model where the teacher plays an active role when learning takes place. Abstract

The study, entitled The Effect of Emotional Intelligence on Student Learning Outcomes in Economics Subject Class X Social Sciences at SMAN 3 Jambi City, was conducted with the aim of knowing the effect of emotional intelligence on learning outcomes in economic subjects. This research was conducted at SMAN 3 Jambi City which was held in January 2022. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach. Sampling was done by simple random sampling technique. The sample used was 47 people who were taken randomly, class X IPS 1,2,3 were 90 students, the research instrument used was an emotional intelligence questionnaire, learning outcomes test in the form of grades, interviews, and documentation. Based on of 1.258, it shows that there is no influence of the independent variable (x) on the dependent variable (y). Based on the SPSS output table with the title model summary, it can be determined that the correlation coefficient value of the influence of emotional intelligence on student learning outcomes is 0.184 (R) with (R Square) 0.034 which is determined by the formula KD = 2 x 100% (KD = 0.034 x 100%) to 34%. In this study there is a low level of relationship. In the alternative hypothesis (Ha) proposed rejected and accepted the null hypothesis (Ho) . it means that there is no influence of emotional intelligence on student learning outcomes in economics subjects at SMAN 3 Jambi City. Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the significant influence on the Talking Chip Type Cooperative Learning Model Against Student Learning Activities in the State 2 Mine High School, this research is motivated by students who still do not want to ask questions. There are still students who do not dare to express their opinions to the teacher or the theme, some students are less responsible for group learning. This research is a Quasi Experiment research. The form of design used in this study is Posttest-Only Design With Nonequivalent Group. The subjects in this study were students of class X IPS of State High School 2 Mine while the objects in this study were the Cooperative Learning Type Talking Chips Model for the learning activities of X IPS students in the State High  School 2 Mine. Data is collected using observation. The documentation and data analysis techniques used are the normality test and homogeneity test using the SPSS program. the calculated value of tcount is 7.411 with the level of Sig. (2-tailed) is 0,000 with df = n-1 = 32-1 so that the value of ttable = 2.43 at a significant level α = 0.05 or 5% is received or the proposed hypothesis is accepted by obtaining the value tcount> ttable or 7.411 ˃ 2, 43. Keywords : Talking Chips, Learning Activities

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the description of respondents and the influence of discipline on the performance of employees at the Department of Transportation Jambi Province. Based on data analysis on the results of research that there is a significant influence between the discipline on the performance of employees at the Department of Transportation Jambi Province. From the results of analysis that has been done through the use of SPSS 19 software, especially in the correlation table shown that the influence of disciplinary variables on the performance of employees of the Department of Transportation Jambi Province is equal to 2.811 or 28%. Whether this influence is significant or not can also be seen from a significant number of 0.000 which is much smaller than the alpha number of 5%. That is, the discipline has a positive effect on the performance of employees of Jambi Provincial Transportation Department. Keyword : Discipline, Employee Performance.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to 1) to see the description of the effectiveness of the assistant officers of the family of hope program (PKH) on the welfare of the beneficiary families (KPM) in the Mayang Mangura village, 2) to see the effect of the effectiveness of the assistant officers of the family of hope program (PKH) on the welfare of the beneficiaries ( KPM) in the village of Mayang mangurai. The research used a quantitative approach based on the philosophy of positivism, used in certain populations or samples. The technique of collecting data was generally random. Data analysis in this study consisted of validity, reliability, simple regression, normality, homogeneity and TCR. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that the regression equation is Y = a+ bx = 16,078+ 0,508 X. The equation is in accordance with the simple linear regression formula, namely Y=a+bx, where Y is the symbol of the dependent variable, a is a constant, b is the regression coefficient for the independent variable. (X). Thus, it can be concluded from the results of the t-test, that there is an influence between variable Y on variable X, in other words accepting Ha, namely: the effect of the effectiveness of the assistant officers of the Family Hope Program on the Welfare of Beneficiary Families in Mayang Mangurai. The results of the study on the Effectiveness of Assistance Officers Based on the data that has been filled in by the respondents, it is known that the assistant officers are still less effective in providing guidance to the beneficiary families. because from filling out the questionnaire that has been filled out by the community, they state that they are in a poor level of welfare.Keywords: Officer Effectiveness, Family Welfare.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan model pembelajaran Insiden Outside Circle (IOC) dan model pembelajaran Course Review Horay (CRH) terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 11 Kota Jambi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan hasil belajar yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Insiden Outside Circle (IOC) dan Course Review Horay (CRH), dimana menggunakan model pembelajaran Insiden Outside Circle (IOC) pada kelas kontrol dan menggunakan model pembelajaran Course Review Horay (CRH) pada kelas eksperimen dapat diketahui bahwa kelas eksperimen memperoleh nilai lulus lebih besar dari kelas kontrol, yakni pada kelas kontrol hanya 18 siswa yang lulus dan pada kelas eksperimen yang lulus sebanyak 29 siswa.Kata Kunci : Insiden Outside, Course Review Horay.  AbstractThis study aims to determine the differences in the Insiden Outside Circle (IOC) learning model and the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model on student learning outcomes on economic subjects in the XI IPS class in Jambi City Public High School 11. The results showed that there were differences in learning outcomes using the Insiden Outside Circle (IOC) and Course Review Horay (CRH) learning models, which used the Insiden Outside Circle (IOC) learning model in the control class and used the Course Review Horay (CRH) learning model on the experimental class can be seen that the experimental class obtained a greater graduation value than the control class, namely in the control class only 18 students graduated and 29 in the experimental class that passed.Keyword : Insiden Outside, Course Review Horay.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the description of respondents and the influence of personal selling on the decision to purchase products at PT. Angsana Jaya. Based on data analysis on the results of research that there is a significant influence between personal selling on the decision to purchase products at PT. Angsana Jaya. The results showed that personal selling of Suzuki brand motorcycles at PT. Angsana Jaya with 84.86% indicator approach, percentage of 88.81%, handling objections of 85.24%, closing sales of 88.57%, then the quality of service is quite good. Suzuki motorcycle purchase decision at PT. Angsana Jaya with 86.10% product offering indicator, 81.43% product quality, 86.19% product excellence, 78.00% interest, then purchase decision of Suzuki brand motorcycle at PT. Angsana Jaya is good. Based on the results of this t test shows that personal selling (X) has a positive and significant influence on the purchase decision of Suzuki brand motorcycles at PT. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine (1) to determine the results of learning values and student learning styles on economic subjects in class X IPS at SMAN 9 Batanghari Regency. (2) to determine the effect of learning styles on learning styles on student learning outcomes in economics class X social studies at SMA Negeri 9 Batanghari Regency. The results showed that (1) the learning style variable was in the good category with an average of 3.80 and the Respondent's Achievement Level (TCR) of 7.61, and two (2) there was no significant effect between learning styles of learning styles on learning outcomes Social studies class X students at SMA Negeri 9 Batanghari Regency. This is indicated by the value of t>> 0.294 <0.2000 (3) there is no significant effect between learning styles on learning outcomes of students of class X IPS in SMA Negeri 9 Batanghari Regency. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to explain whether picture series can improve students' abilities and describe the factors that influence changes in writing news item text using picture series. The research method used in this study is PTK (Classroom Action Research). The object of this research is class X students. The researcher uses 2 types of research instruments which are quantitative and qualitative. In quantitative, the researcher gives a writing test. While in qualitative, the researcher chose one of the teachers as a collaborator to observe and fill in the note field when the researcher taught during the research. Based on the results of the analysis data, the researchers obtained evaluation score I was 63.29 and evaluation II was 77.14. This shows that using picture series can improve students' writing skills. Factors that influence changes in students' writing ability using this media are visible from classroom management, media used by teachers, and learning methods.Keyword : Writing, News Item, Picture Series.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the picture of work environment and performance of teachers, and the influence of work environment on the performance of teachers at SMK Negeri 10 in Sungai Gelam District Muaro Jambi. The results showed that the work environment picture got a value of 75.26% enough categorized, while for the performance of teachers got a value of 75.00% categorized quite well. Meanwhile, for the influence of work environment on teacher performance result model summary R = 0,837 and R Square = 0,701. In ANOVA, the value of F = 77.487 with α (sig) = 0,000. Because α (Sig) <0.05, then regression can be used to predict the working environment at 95% confidence level. In coefficient the value of B constant = 14,062, states that if the work environment variable is ignored, then teacher performance = 14,062.Kata Kunci : Work Environment, Teacher Performance
