Abstract

The development of science and technology influences people's mindset in various aspects of life including aspects of religious life as well as in understanding their religious teachings, both tattwa, morals and ceremonies. Temple is one of the symbols or symbols of the universe created by Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa, Hindus view it as Stana Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa and all of His manifestations. Bale Agung Temple in the Belancan Traditional Village is a Tri Kahyangan temple which has a special uniqueness that lies in the Piodalan ceremony which coincides with Galungan Nadi Day where the Edol dance tradition is being carried out. Edol Dance is a Sacred Dance in Belancan Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency. Edol dance is a sacred dance that is unique, one of which lies in its dance moves. The Edol dance has one movement that is performed repeatedly which is danced by young men or unmarried men. The movement in this dance has aesthetics because it includes three requirements, namely unity, balance and clarity. Unity can be seen from the movements in the dance supported by the dress, make-up, staging venue and dance accompaniment music according to the character of the dance and balance can be seen from the repetition of movements from front to back and from back to front due to the structure in the dance. This study aims to determine the performance of the Edol Dance at the Galungan Nadi ceremony in the Belancan Traditional Village, Kintamani District, Bangli Regency and to find out the ceremonial facilities needed for the Edol Dance performance and to find out the extent of the participation of the Edol Dance in the Galungan Nadi ceremony. The method used in this study is a qualitative method in which informants are determined using the sampling subject method, and the data collection method used is the method of interviewing and recording documents while processing the data using descriptive analysis methods. The result and discussion is the history of Belancan Village which started from the journey of I Gusti Wayahan who hid in the wilderness. The form of carrying out the Edol Dance tradition is Piodalan at Bale Agung Temple in Belancan Village which falls every Galungan Nadi Day. The facilities needed before the performance of the Edol Dance are a set of offerings of segehan agung complete with a black chicken to be slaughtered, bayuan, petas, 4 selnggi oujung rice supplemented with pork, a santun containing 775 kepeng coins. The Belancan Traditional Village plays a very important role, because apart from being a complement to the ceremony which is held every five years, namely the Galungan Nadi ceremony, especially at the end of the ceremony (nyineb) before the performance, the dancers are decorated with young palm leaves and all the village's male villagers. Men bring Prani offerings to Bale Agung Temple with the intention that the dancers are free from interference from other people or outside disturbances.

Abstract

The Hindu religious education learning process should be designed systematically to achieve the objectives (1) to develop and improve the quality of Sraddha (belief) and Bhakti (piety) of the people through providing, emphasizing, appreciating, and practicing the Hindu religious teachings, and (2) building a Hindu society that can realize the Moksartham Jagathita values in its life. Based on the pretest results in October on the student learning outcomes of Hindu religious and character (Budi Pekerti) education of fifth-grade students at SD Mahardika Denpasar, it showed that the level of student learning completeness was still below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). The cause of the low learning completeness values of students was that it was below the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). It can be identified from most students who still have difficulty and often forget to understand the subject matter provided. The reason was that the teacher still functions as the primary source of learning that provides knowledge to students instead of being a student facilitator. Students only pay attention to explanations, accept the teacher’s examples, and are never directly involved in solving problems. This study aimed to determine how the best implementation of applying the Problem-Based Learning model improves the learning outcomes of Hindu religious and character (Budi Pekerti) education in fifth-grade students at SD Mahardika Denpasar. The research method used in this study was the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. The research was conducted in several stages or cycles. Reflection on cycle I was carried out to determine the steps for improvement in cycle II. Based on the evaluation data of student learning outcomes that have been carried out from activities in cycle I and cycle II showed a significant increase. The evaluation results of the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Mahardika Denpasar in the 2022/2023 academic year showed an increase in the student learning outcomes in Hindu religious and character (Budi Pekerti) education lessons.

Abstract

Balinese pop song has a simple characteristic and is easily remembered by the public because this song characterizes the expression of the author’s feelings, which are written into the content and the life phenomenon. Balinese pop song is highly favored among the Balinese people because it has its own characteristic of using the Balinese language and is easy to learn because it has simple lyrics. It has been proven that in Bali, many singers sing Balinese pop songs such as Widi Widiana, Panji Kuning, Yong Sagita, Dek Ulik, A.A. Raka Sidan, Putri Bulan, and Dek Arya. One of the most famous Balinese pop songs is Wek Igis. This song tells about how women are from the man's point of view and also contains love. Furthermore, this love song also expresses joy, sadness, and anger. There are two singers in this album entitled Wek Igis, namely Dek Arya, and Putri Bulan. This song is one of the songs that represent the feminist aspect or the image of women. The image of women is a form of mental-spiritual image and daily behavior expressed by women in various aspects, namely physical and psychological aspects as a woman’s self-image and family and community aspects as a social image. By the existence of the feminist language presented in the lyrics of the Balinese pop song entitled Wek Igis, it aims to preserve and develop modern Balinese literature, especially in Balinese pop songs, and to raise the degree of women’s image in society’s point of view. In this study, two theories were used in the manuscript: structural theory according to I.A. Richard (in Tarigan, 2004) and feminist psychoanalysis theory according to Marxists and Socialists (in Rosemarie, 2010). The research method was qualitative, while the supporting instruments were transcription, interviews, literature, and documentation. The data analysis used in this research was descriptive data analysis technique and qualitative data analysis technique. The results of this study discussed the structure of the lyrics in the song entitled Wek Igis. The lyrical structure of the song is divided into two, namely, method and essence. The data studied only focuses on diction (word choice), imagery, and rhyme, and the essence studied was only on the song’s message. The image of women is perceived from feminist psychoanalysis aspects, such as caring women and loyalty expressed through the song’s message. The feminist language in this song is also found in Hindu literature, specifically in the Manava Dharmasastra.

Abstract

The number of children who experience difficulties in learning causes children not to develop according to their capacity. This is usually due to interference, both from internal student factors which are limited to intelligence factors and external student factors. There are two types of learning difficulties, namely pre-academic learning difficulties including: motor and perceptual disorders, cognitive learning difficulties, language development disorders, and difficulties in completing social behavior. While academic learning difficulties include difficulties in reading, writing, and arithmetic. In overcoming these problems, it is important to conduct tutoring in reducing student learning difficulties in the elementary school environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the implementation of tutoring services in reducing the learning difficulties of elementary school students in Amparita village. The research location is Independent Tutoring in Amparita Village. This selection is related to the characteristics of the research subjects, namely tutoring mentors who have a Bachelor of Education background who have implemented tutoring services. The research method used a qualitative descriptive research approach. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The result of the research is that the implementation of tutoring services can help students reduce learning difficulties.
