Abstract

This research is motivated to decreased volume at UD. Sinar Arafah Jaya in Deli Serdang. The decrease in sales volume indicates there are factors influence sales. Referring to previous studies as empirical studies. The level of sales volume is thought to be influenced by various factors such as quality and product design. The purpose of this study is test the effect of product quality and product design on sales volume at UD. Sinar Arafah Jaya products. This study uses a mixed methods (a mix of quantitative and qualitative). Collected data using questionnaire and interview. Respondents in this study were 32 people consumers who had purchased UD. Sinar Arafah Jaya products. The hypothesis was formulated and tested using regression analysis with SPSS software. While qualitative analysis was obtained from the results of interview transcripts with owner which processed with NVivo 12 Pro software and provided information and explanations. The results of quantitative research show that, simultaneously, quality and product design have a positive and significant effect on sales volume (f count 58,333 > f table 8,183 with a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05). Then the results of qualitative research also show that sales volume is influenced by quality and product design, various other aspects such as promotional strategies, pricing, and distribution channels. All of elements support each other to achieve the maximum sales volume target.

Abstract

The halal cosmetics industry in Indonesia is rapidly growing as Muslim consumers become increasingly aware of the importance of products that comply with Islamic principles. This study aims to identify the factors influencing the purchase decisions of halal cosmetic products, including price, brand image, halal certification, religiosity, and brand trust. The research employs a quantitative survey method with a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach to analyze the relationships between variables. The findings indicate that brand trust and awareness of halal certification play a significant role in purchasing decisions. Additionally, religiosity influences consumer awareness of product halalness. This study provides recommendations for producers to emphasize halal aspects, transparency in information, and educational marketing to enhance consumer trust and loyalty.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of competence on motivation, the effect of organizational commitment on motivation, the effect of competence on teacher performance, and the effect of organizational commitment on teacher performance at the Murni Padang Foundation. The sample used in this research was the Teachers of the Murni Padang Foundation, Jl. Nipah No.33, Berok Nipah, West Padang, Padang City, West Sumatra. Totaling 40 respondents. The data collection methods used were library studies and field studies. The instruments of this research are observation and questionnaires. The data analysis method used is Structural Equation Model Partial Least (SEM-PLS) using SMART PLS 3.0 software. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence between competence on motivation, there is an insignificant influence between organizational commitment on motivation, there is a significant influence between competence on teacher performance, there is a significant influence between organizational commitment on teacher performance, there is a significant influence Between motivation and teacher performance, there is a significant influence between competence on teacher performance through motivation, there is an insignificant influence between organizational commitment on teacher performance through motivation.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the influence of discipline and motivation on employee performance in the Operational Division of PT Sankyu Indonesia International. The research method used in this research is a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through questionnaires. The sampling technique used a saturated sampling technique, the sample was 36 people who worked as employees of the Operational Division of PT Sankyu Indonesia International. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the influence of discipline and motivation on employee performance in the Operational Division of PT Sankyu Indonesia International is classified as very good, where the three variables are in the rating scale range of 70-100. From the results of the hypothesis test, it shows that discipline has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results of the analysis have a significance value of 0.000 and t count 4.125 > t table 1.68830. Motivation does not have a positive effect on employee performance as a result of the analysis with a significance value of 0.427 and t count 0.804 < t table 1.68830. Discipline and Motivation simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, the results of the analysis have a significance value of 0.000 and F count 9.970 > F table 3.26.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and try to analyze the influence of social media marketing and service quality on purchasing decisions through purchase interest at the Liza Cosmetics Padang store. This research is a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) model with the SmartPLS 3.0 analysis tool. The population and sample for this study were visitors to the Liza Cosmetics Padang shop. The research results found that there is an influence between Social Media Marketing on Purchase Interest. There is an influence between Service Quality on Purchase Intention. There is an influence between Social Media Marketing on Purchasing Decisions. There is no influence between Service Quality on Purchasing Decisions. There is an influence between Purchase Interest and Purchase Decisions. Purchase Interest mediates Social Media Marketing on Purchase Decisions. Purchase Interest mediates Service Quality on Purchase Decisions.

Abstract

Ship guiding and postponement services are one of the important aspects in ensuring safety and operational efficiency at the port. This research discusses the application of the PHINNISI (Port and Harbormaster Integrated Information System) system in the process of guiding and delaying BSP XXV ships. PHINNISI is an information technology-based system designed to improve coordination and supervision of ship operations at the port. Through real-time data integration and digitisation of procedures, the system enables more effective monitoring of vessel movements, arrival times, and delay processes. The purpose of writing this paper is to find out how the BSP XXV Ship Guidance and Delay Service through the Phinnisi System by PT Bahtera Kencana Djaya Lampung. The author collects data using two research methods, namely the library method (Library Research) and the field method (Field Research). The results of this study are the BSP XXV Ship Guiding and Delay Services through the Phinnisi System by PT Bahtera Kencana Djaya Lampung. Starting from entering the PHINNISI application through the site (phinnisi.Pelindo.co.id). Then the agent logs in using the company account that has been registered in the PHINNISI application, after logging in the agent makes a request for ship guiding and delaying services and makes payment, after obtaining permission from KSOP.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of service quality and price on consumer satisfaction at The Socialite Surabaya Restaurant. Service quality and price are the main factors influencing consumer decisions and their loyalty. The research approach uses quantitative methods by collecting data through questionnaires distributed to 97 respondents, selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression to test the influence of the independent variables (service quality and price) on the dependent variable (consumer satisfaction). The research results show that service quality and price have a significant effect on consumer satisfaction. Of these two variables, the price variable has a more dominant influence than service quality. This shows that consumers consider the suitability of price to product quality and price competitiveness more in assessing their satisfaction. Recommendations are given to restaurant managers to maintain competitive price advantages while still paying attention to service quality in order to maintain consumer loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between satisfaction with library services and students' interest in visiting the school library. The data analysis techniques used in this research include normality testing, linearity testing, reliability testing, and product-moment correlation testing. The research population consists of all 51 students of STPKAT Santo Fransiskus Asisi Semarang for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research subjects come from different educational levels and age groups, with varying abilities and interests in visiting the library. The sample consists of 10 students selected from those who have previously visited the school library, using a questionnaire as the research instrument. The data analysis techniques applied include normality testing, linearity testing, reliability testing, and product-moment correlation testing. The results of the product-moment correlation analysis show that the correlation value between the library service satisfaction variable (X) and students' interest in visiting the library is 0.667 > 0.05, indicating a significant relationship between these two variables.

Abstract

Internship activities are a way of applying academic learning to the world of work with the aim of providing work experience to students. This article discusses practical internship activities carried out at PT. Kargo Trans Solusi, a customs services company that focuses on export-import document administration. The aim of this internship is to gain an understanding of the role of administration in international trade, especially in managing customs documents such as Goods Export Notifications (PEB) and Goods Import Notifications (PIB). To find out about the management of export-import administration documents at PT. Kargo Trans Solusi, this research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method.
