Abstract

Islamic education has an important role in teaching peace. In terms of language, Islam itself means peace, which is the term for the Arabic word silmun. Since its inception, Islam has always taught about peace, in spreading its beliefs, Islam has always used gentle methods of preaching, not forcing someone to follow Islamic teachings. Islamic education that starts from an early age has an important role in forming the character of an individual or society, so that individuals or society who have this character can widely spread peace. In practice, it is not easy for Islamic education to teach peace education, of course there are several obstacles that can disrupt the process of Islamic education teaching peace education.

Abstract

The problem in this research is that there are some orphanage children who have not shown good self discipline, where the orphanage children do not wake up on time, pray, and spend a lot of time playing on cellphones annot enough time studying. The aim of this research is to describe the role of caregivers in fostering self discipline in orphanage children. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. The first informant of this research was the caretaker of the orphanage and the supporting informants were the children of the Muhammadiyah Cab Guguak II orphanage. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation. The results og the research show that the role of caragivers in fostering self discipline in orphanage children who are not discipline. The aims to ensure that the orphanage children become independent, firm and successful individuals. In the future, as well as giving praise to the`orphanage children who have been able to discipline themselves well, this aims to ensure that the orphanage children can maintain and improve their good self discipline with the role of caregivers like that it can make the orphanage’s children are comfortable and successin their future and can make the people around them proud.

Abstract

The research focuses on contributing to the challenges of implementing differential learning by presenting strategies for its effective application. Utilizing qualitative research designs, the study aims to understand how to implement differential learning strategies in the context of independent curricula. The exploration of literature allows researchers to investigate differential learning phenomena in real-life and complex situations. Essentially, differential learning is adaptable and modifiable for various subjects and materials (Pramudianti et al., 2023). Achieving optimal implementation requires attention to learning syntax, encompassing planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation) (Hasanah et al., 2023). Integration of these processes is vital for success, with teachers engaging in reflective practices during evaluations. The results indicate that differential learning implementation, tailored to individual readiness, styles, and interests, enhances student talent and interest for more effective learning outcomes (Lukitoaji & Komalasari, 2023). Three key strategies within differential learning – content differentiation, process differentiation, and product differentiation – contribute to achieving optimum learning (Sarie, 2022). The research underscores the importance of meticulous planning and integration in the differential learning process, fostering a tailored and effective educational experience.

Abstract

This study describes the implementation of Independent curriculum and analyze its challenges at SMK Muhammadiyah Delanggu. The author uses qualitative approach and field research as his method. Data collection is done by direct observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that (1) The implementation of the independent curriculum at SMK Muhammadiyah is almost fully implemented, but it still leaves grade 12 which still uses the 2013 curriculum model. (2) The role of curriculum management is crucial in determining the direction of the curriculum in schools, (3) Challenges in implementing the independent curriculum at SMK Muhammadiyah Delanggu, namely teachers who are not fully familiar with the Merdeka curriculum and limited tools and materials that make project-based learning hampered. (4) The efforts made by curriculum management in overcoming these obstacles are trying to improve the quality of teachers by increasing workshops and trainings and maximizing the tools and materials that are already available.

Abstract

The low-confidence of teenagers that occurs at the Aisyiyah orphanage in Pariaman city is a problem that is being experienced by teenagers at this orphanage. Several phenomena found also show that the self-confidence of teenagers in the low category. Based on the results of an interview with a teenager who lives in an Aisyiyah orphanage in Pariaman City, information was obtained that these teenegers want to feel attention from their parents, most of their friend look down on them, sometimes even there is discrimination from friend at school. Based on the result of research using group guidance, there was an improvement in children at the Aisyiyah Pariaman orphanage, namely first, children learned to train their self confidence. Second, have the opportunity to gain insight into various thinga around you. Third, the growth of a positive attitude of self-confidence towards oneself and the environment.

Abstract

Character formation is very important for children because children will live their lives in society and in the state. With a strategy in forming a child's character, the child can behave well or have a character that is acceptable in society. Based on this, the author is interested in researching strategies for building children's character at the Putra Aisyiyah Orphanage. The method used in this research is descriptive with a qualitative approach. An orphanage is a social welfare institution which is responsible for providing substitute services to fulfill the physical, mental and social needs of its foster children, so that they receive extensive, appropriate and adequate opportunities for personality development in accordance with expectations. The results of the research show that the orphanage's strategy in shaping children's character is by, (1) giving tasks to children, (2) requiring children to recite the Koran and praying in congregation (3) requiring children to take part in holy tread exercises. The obstacles encountered in character building strategies are (1) the influence of the environment outside the orphanage, (2) the nature and character of children who are difficult to manage.

Abstract

One of the problems an organization faces when its founder dies. Many factions then fought over the position. It even involves the descendants of its founder. So there are often clashes between the competing parties. Clashes can be in the form of hate speech or physical clashes. In today's era of social media, his role is like a double-edged knife. Can reconcile or cause conflict to deepen. Social media can reconcile with the condition that the upload is in the form of sentences that soothe the parties experiencing the conflict. In our research, we found that social media can then quell conflict, at least move conflict from the real world to the virtual world

Abstract

The rise of fake news or hoaxes circulating in Indonesia has now entered a disturbing stage. Hoaxes not only harm society but can also disrupt national development. The government has taken a stand to combat hoaxes. People who care about this problem are also starting to move. One of them is the Indonesian Anti-Defamation Community (Mafindo), whose strategy for involving the community in social movements like this is known as crowdsourcing. Mafindo implements this strategy to invite the public to work together to fight hoaxes. The large number of hoaxes cannot be overcome individually. Therefore, it is necessary to involve all parties to refute the various hoaxes circulating. By using in-depth interviews, observations and secondary data collection, researchers describe the characteristics of crowdsourcing carried out by Mafindo to limit the spread of hoaxes in Indonesia. Abstract

This research aims to explain the role and evolution of digital sociology. The development of digital technology has fundamentally changed the paradigm of social interaction and societal dynamics. Digital sociology has become a key instrument in understanding the impact of this transformation, focusing on the influence of the internet and social media on communication, interaction and social identity formation. Digital sociology not only reflects current realities, but also has major consequences for future changes. This research method is a literature study by collecting references from journal articles, books and social media news. Content analysis is used to understand the dynamics of communication and social change. The results of this research discuss the development of a more connected society, paying attention to the growth of social media users globally. Social and cultural changes that may occur as a result of digital sociology include transformations in communication, the influence of digital media, changes in work and the economy, popular culture, privacy, education, identity, and social activism. This research confirms that digital sociology is an integral element in understanding societal change in the digital era, guiding us in facing challenges and exploiting emerging opportunities.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to see to what extent slot gambling games provide a rapid economic improvement for students at one of the universities in Tulungagung, by analyzing whether it is true that Tulungagung State University students use online slot gambling as a rapid improvement in the economy. economic capital. This research is a qualitative research with a phenomenological approach which aims to analyze in depth the slot gambling game which is used as a fast economic boost by students based on the students' own subjective experiences. The research results show that slot gambling games are part of the euphoria of revealing the dynamics of students' thinking following the flow of technological developments. The results of the analysis show the truth that Tulungagung students use slot gambling games to gain rapid economic improvement. They feel they see an opportunity to improve the economy in an easy and fast way by playing slot gambling in the midst of busy lecture activities. This is proven by the existence of economic encouragement in the form of a desire to ease the family's economy in meeting their living needs during college. This is reinforced by the friendship environment which is influenced by gambling as well as the mental burden of despair due to economic problems and boredom in lectures. This is not in line with reality, students who play slot gambling admit that they make more losses than profits. Changes in life and a significant increase in economic levels from slot gambling games are not often found among students.
