Abstract

The phenomenon of bipolar disorder is one serious public health problem, for it can lower the quality of life of an individual and increase the high risk of death. Bipolar is a fluctuating mood or mood condition-changing from mania (higher) to depression. The study will explore effective microsocial intervention strategies in addressing individuals with bipolar disorder, taking into account the social, emotional, and environmental factors that can affect the management of those conditions. The study USES a descriptive qualitative method of study with data gathered in words, pictures, not Numbers. By understanding the microsocial dynamics affecting individuals with bipolar disorder, we can devise interventions that are more relevant and effective, creating supportive environments and helping to address their welfare

Abstract

This classroom action research (PTK) aims to improve the critical thinking skills and learning outcomes of class XI students at SMAN 5 MAROS by applying the Discovery Learning learning model. Data was obtained based on the results of observations and tests. Data analysis was carried out using comparative descriptive techniques. The research subjects were class XI students with a total of 35 students. The results of cycle 1 research showed that students' critical thinking abilities were in the high category 4%, 28% in the medium category, 40% in the low category, and 28% in the very low category. In cycle II, the increase was shown in the critical thinking skills of students in the very high category, 32%, in the high category, 12%, in the medium category, 56%, in the low category, none and in the very low category, none. the completeness of student learning outcomes in cycle I increased in cycle II. The incomplete students consisted of 12 students, while the complete students consisted of 23 students out of 35 students in cycle I. Meanwhile, in cycle II, all students completed, namely 35 students.

Abstract

The sociology learning process in class X IPS 2 SMAN 3 MAROS is very worrying. This is because many students play during the lesson. Therefore, teachers must ensure that students understand their lessons by using appropriate learning methods. Furthermore, research was conducted at SMAN 3 MAROS to find out how effective the discovery learning method is in teaching sociological concepts to students. Classroom action research (CAR) is a type of research in which teachers collaborate to improve class performance and student learning outcomes by thinking about, implementing, and planning what will be done. The subjects of this research were 35 students of class X IPS 2 UPT SMA Negeri 3 Maros. The implementation of P2K is carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle lasts for 1 meeting consisting of 6 teaching and learning process meetings and 2 meetings for learning results tests. The result of implementing discovery learning is that during classroom action research in cycle I and cycle II, the discovery learning model made lessons that were usually considered difficult for some students become enjoyable.

Abstract

Before a teacher uses a test, the teacher should first measure the degree of validity based on certain criteria. The aim of the research carried out was to determine the validity, reliability and level of difficulty of the Citizenship Education subject questions at the Class XI High School level which uses the Merdeka Curriculum as a reference. This research is part of development research with a 4D model, namely at the Develop stage. The process carried out is a simulation of questions on research subjects to determine the validity, reliability and level of difficulty of the questions being developed. The validity test of the questions showed that 25 questions were valid and 5 questions were invalid, while the reliability test showed that the questions had very high reliability. The instrument developed has a difficulty level of questions, namely 22 questions in the medium category, 6 questions in the easy category, and 2 questions in the difficult category.

Abstract

The study aimed to explore the connection between social support, self-esteem, and subjective well-being in psychology students at the Islamic University 45 Bekasi. The research involved ≤ 135 participants aged 18–25, actively enrolled in the psychology program for the class of 2021. Simple random sampling was employed for data collection. The findings revealed a positive correlation (0.551) between social support (X1) and subjective well-being (Y), suggesting a significant contribution of social support to the participants' well-being. Additionally, the correlation coefficient between self-esteem (X2) and subjective well-being (Y) was 0.743, indicating a positive and substantial influence of self-esteem on subjective well-being.

Abstract

The use of learning models can also be a factor that determines students' learning success. If the learning model used is appropriate, it can arouse students' interest in studying the material being taught in such a way that it influences the quality of learning outcomes. So the teacher must be able to create a learning model that creates a situation where the class of students can be active in the learning process. This research was carried out using the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. Wardani & Wihardit (2018) stated that PTK is research carried out by a teacher in the class he teaches which aims to improve student learning outcomes. The subjects of this research were 36 students in class XI MIPA 3, consisting of 11 male students and 15 female students. P2K implementation is carried out in 2 cycles. The results of classroom action research by applying the Discovery Learning model with a scientific approach for two cycles, the results obtained are: First, the application of the Discovery Learning learning model with a scientific approach can improve students' science learning outcomes in class XI SMAN 9 Maros. Second, the application of the Discovery learning model Learning with an effective scientific approach can increase liveliness and activity in the teaching and learning process in accordance with observations of students' attitudes during the implementation of classroom action research in cycle I and cycle II.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the level of student satisfaction with the use of digital learning media in physics lessons, the learning media used is Augmented Reality or what is usually called AR. AR is a technology that combines two-dimensional (2D) or three-dimensional (3D) virtual objects into a real environment in real-time, so that the virtual object seems to be part of that environment. In other words, AR enriches the real-world view with digital elements. It is important to understand that AR is not just an additional technological tool, but rather a new thing in learning so that students respond well to it. The research results concluded that the use and integration of AR technology in education, especially physics subjects, can make a major contribution to improving the quality of learning and overall student satisfaction.

Abstract

This research aims to determine: (1) the activities of instructors and participants in the hygiene sanitation counseling for petis production in the Home Industry of Lebak Hamlet, Arosbaya Village, (2) the effectiveness of the results of hygiene sanitation counseling in the Home Industry of Lebak Hamlet, Arosbaya Village, and (3) the response to the pocketbook from the participants of the hygiene sanitation counseling in the Home Industry of Lebak Hamlet, Arosbaya Village. This study uses a quasi-experimental research design to systematically describe the influence or difference (behavior) between before and after the implementation of hygiene sanitation training in petis production. Research instruments include training assessment sheets, questionnaires, cognitive tests, and documentation, with data analyzed descriptively and using t-tests. The results indicate that the training tools (power point and pocketbook) are overall excellent and suitable for use; 2) The training is proven effective and can enhance the knowledge of food handlers, showing an increased knowledge from food handlers before and after training; 3) Participant responses are very positive, with an average score of 92%.

Abstract

The development of social media has transformed the paradigm of political communication, opening the door for active participation of the community in political discussions. This research aims to delve into the changes in the dynamics of political communication alongside the proliferation of social media and reveal its impact on the formation of public opinion. The research employs a literature review approach to detail, evaluate, and summarize literature related to political communication, social media, and the role of digital platforms. Conceptual analysis and identification of previous research methodologies are utilized to establish the theoretical and methodological foundation. The results indicate that social media, as an agent of change, empowers the community in political discourse and shapes public opinion. This research integrates three communication theories (Agenda Setting, Gatekeeping, and Uses and Gratifications) to understand the complexity of political transformation through social media. In conclusion, social media creates fundamental changes in political communication, necessitating a deep understanding by political actors to optimize positive impacts while minimizing risks. This research is expected to contribute to the understanding of the complex dynamics between political communication and social media in the digital era.

Abstract

The pupose of this study was to determine the significant effect of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach in the learning outcomes of IPAS grade V students of SDN Majungan. The research design used in this research is Pre-Eksperimental with the form of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This study used a saturated sampling technique with a total size of 22 students. Data collection in this study used observation, test, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the CTL approach has an effect on the learning outcomes of fifth grade SDN Majungan. Based on the calculation of hypothesis test with the paired sample t-test, obtained thitung is -20,014 and ttabel is -2,085 a significance value of 0,000. Based on left-sided test criteria, if -thitung < -ttabel is -20,014 < -2,085 then H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected. On the results of Sig. 2(tailed) < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05) then H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that there is an effect on the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) approach on students IPAS learning outcomes. The implementation of learning with Contextual Teaching and Learning approach was carried out with very good criteria with an average of 92.
