Abstract

Abstract: Pengajian Al-Hidayah faces challenges with low participation and active involvement of its members in activities that could develop leadership skills. Therefore, this community service program aims to enhance the leadership spirit of its members through spiritual development methods and Islamic studies. The program was conducted at Grand Avira Hotel Ambon, involving more than 50 members as participants. The program combines mentoring, coaching, and interactive discussions, while utilizing social media as a platform for communication and online discussions to improve participant engagement. The implementation method is divided into three stages: preparation, execution, and evaluation. During the execution stage, participants took part in lectures and leadership simulations, designed to sharpen their communication and decision-making skills. The evaluation results showed that participants' motivation and satisfaction levels exceeded 80%, with active participation rates of 75% in simulations, 78% in group discussions, and 80% in online meetings. This program successfully enhanced participants' understanding and skills in Islamic leadership. The primary recommendation is to continue monitoring and conducting ongoing evaluations to further develop the program and adapt it to other communities, with a focus on strengthening member engagement and ensuring sustainable leadership regeneration.

Abstract

The Training on Technology-Based Assessment and Rubric Design at SMK Negeri 1 STM Hulu aimed to enhance teachers' competencies in using technology for assessments aligned with the Merdeka Curriculum. This training employed In-Service Training (IST) and On-Service Training (OST) methods, allowing participants to engage in both theoretical and hands-on practice sessions facilitated by AI-based technology such as ChatGPT. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in teachers' understanding and skills, as indicated by higher post-test scores compared to pre-test results. The average post-test score increase highlighted the training's success in boosting digital skills and knowledge related to technology-based assessments. Key challenges included limited infrastructure and initial resistance to change; however, participants' enthusiasm indicated potential for sustainable development. The training recommends further support in terms of infrastructure and continuous guidance to maximize the application of technology in the learning process.

Abstract

Education is an effort to create an atmosphere in learning and the learning process so that students can develop their potential to have abilities, literacy is the language skills possessed by a person to communicate, whether in terms of reading, speaking, listening and writing, in different ways according to the goal. Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology in the 5.0 era demands digital literacy as a crucial skill for teachers, particularly in designing technology-based learning. This community service program aims to introduce and train teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Kota Ambon in using Canva, a graphic design platform, as a tool to create creative and interactive learning media. Utilizing methods such as lectures, practice, and discussions, the program encompasses stages from needs analysis to evaluation of training outcomes. The results indicate an improvement in teachers' understanding, with an average rating classified as "excellent," while also helping students become more digitally literate and prepared for a technology-driven workforce. This program is expected to serve as a reference for other educational institutions in enhancing teachers' digital literacy through Canva.

Abstract

Ear health is a combination of maintaining the structural and functional integrity of the ear to ensure optimal auditory function. This community service activity aimed to enhance adolescents' understanding of the importance of ear canal and tympanic membrane examinations in preserving ear health. The methods employed in this activity included education and ear examinations using the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) approach. The educational sessions covered topics such as risk factors, proper ear hygiene, and the significance of early detection of ear disorders. Examinations were conducted to assess the condition of the ear canal and tympanic membrane among participants. The results demonstrated an improvement in participants' understanding of ear health maintenance and a reduction in risky behaviors, such as the use of foreign objects in the ear. This community service initiative highlights the importance of ear health preservation through healthy habits and regular examinations to prevent hearing impairment. Therefore, educational and examination activities can help adolescents adopt practices that support auditory health and raise awareness about the significance of preventive measures.:

Abstract

This study uses a case study of SMKN 01 Dompu and SMPN 04 Dompu to provide a teaching assistance role in encouraging students of SMKN 01 Dompu and SMPN 04 Dompu to be entrepreneurial. Entrepreneurial skills are one of the important skills that must be learned early in the era of increasingly competitive globalization. Students have opportunity to learn directly from teachers through teaching assistant programs, which focus on entrepreneurial skills such as decision-making, risk management, and creativity. This study found that teaching assistants at SMKN 01 Dompu and SMPN 04 Dompu can encourage students to think more creatively and innovatively. This was found through observation and interview methods. The program also boosts students' confidence in starting a small business. The results of the study show that teachers who are actively involved in teaching assistance programs can make education fun and relevant, thereby fostering students' interest in exploring the world of entrepreneurship.

Abstract

The training titled “Optimizing Digital Marketing as the Main Strategy to Increase Sales and Growth of MSMEs” is expected to serve as a solution to enhance the understanding and competencies of MSMEs, particularly in digital marketing, thereby increasing their sales and fostering growth. Additionally, MSMEs are anticipated to act as a pathway to improve the welfare of many (suppliers, retailers, partners, etc.). This training program is essential to equip Q-Creative members with the digital skills needed to compete in the modern market. In an era increasingly dominated by technology, digital marketing has become one of the keys to MSME success. Through this training, community members will learn how to manage social media, create engaging marketing content, and utilize e-commerce platforms to expand their market reach. This initiative aims to help them reach a wider audience, boost sales, and optimize their marketing strategies. This community service program also supports the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a global action plan endorsed by world leaders (193 countries), including Indonesia, committed to ending poverty, reducing inequality, and protecting the environment. The SDGs program is a sustainable development agenda with 17 goals and 169 targets. One of the objectives of this community service activity is to achieve quality education that improves human welfare globally.

Abstract

This socialization activity is packaged in the form of training and mentoring which aims to increase understanding in utilizing digital platforms and technology regarding the Quizzizz application as an alternative learning model for the Introduction to Information Technology (PTI) course for UNIPMA semester 1 students. Based on the results of observations, the author found problems faced by class 1E students who took PTI courses, namely the lack of enthusiasm and activeness of students in attending lectures in class. Therefore, the author is interested in carrying out learning outreach activities using the Quizizz application. Quizizz is a web tool for creating interactive quizzes that can be used in classroom learning and outside of class as homework, so that students can run them at any time. The method of implementing socialization is by means of presentations, lectures, discussions and training and mentoring. The objectives of this service include 1) Students will be more responsive, interesting and fun; 2) Providing innovation in learning evaluation models; 3) Students are able to understand PTI material more deeply; 4) Student learning outcomes increase. The final results showed that 90% of the 21 students stated that by using the Quizizz application as an interesting, fun and responsive digital platform because it is in the form of an interactive quiz game for online learning, it can provide deeper understanding and is easy to understand for students, especially those taking PTI courses.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to introduce exercise sports as an effort to improve physical fitness in MTs Al-Falah Fi'lial Pulubala students, Gorontalo Regency. Given the importance of physical fitness for adolescents in supporting growth and development, this program is designed to provide an understanding of workout sports that are flexible, easy to implement, and beneficial to health. The program uses lectures, questions and answers, and demonstrations to convey information about the benefits of workout sports, basic movement techniques, and the importance of body fitness. The activity was attended by 20 students aged 13-14 years, with the results of the evaluation showing that 85% of the students succeeded in understanding the material presented. In addition to improving physical fitness, exercise sports also have a positive impact on students' mental health, such as reducing stress and increasing study concentration. It is hoped that this program can build healthy living habits among teenagers and become a model for useful community service activities in the future.

Abstract

Occupational Safety and Health (OHS) training is an important step in creating a safe and healthy work environment for all workers. This paper examines the implementation of OHS training in various industrial sectors and its impact on reducing work accidents and increasing worker awareness of workplace risks. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative and quantitative approach, involving workers and OHS managers in several companies. The results of the study indicate that effective OHS training can improve workers' understanding of safety procedures, strengthen OHS culture in the workplace, and reduce the number of accidents and occupational diseases. In addition, OHS training also plays an important role in complying with occupational safety regulations. Therefore, the development and improvement of the quality of OHS training on an ongoing basis are essential to achieve the goal of zero accidents and create a safer and healthier work environment. Occupational health and safety (OHS) training is well designed and implemented, as shown by the enthusiasm of students to participate in the activities and the responses of students who strongly agree with its implementation.
