Abstract

Work conflict is an inevitable reality in modern organizations, especially in the digital era full of pressure and structural dynamics. This study aims to explore employees' coping strategies in dealing with work conflict. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were obtained through in-depth interviews with three informants who were purposively selected based on their position, length of service, and conflict involvement. The results of thematic analysis revealed three main categories of coping strategies: problem-focused coping, emotion-focused coping, and avoidance-oriented coping. The choice of strategy is greatly influenced by individual perceptions of conflict, social support, and organizational culture. Appropriate coping strategies have been shown to play a role in maintaining psychological stability, increasing productivity, and preventing burnout. These findings contribute to the development of coping strategy theory in the context of work conflict and provide practical implications for HR management policies that are oriented towards employee psychological well-being.

Abstract

This study examines the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in shaping students’ character in schools, primarily through their roles, namely as leaders, educators, motivators, and evaluators. This study was conducted using a qualitative approach, collecting data through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation in the school environment. Data analysis was done through data display, reduction, and conclusions drawing. The results of the study indicate that PAI teachers act as leaders who create an active and Islamic learning atmosphere and are role models for students. As motivators, teachers succeed in raising students’ enthusiasm to innovate and practice religious values in everyday life. In addition, PAI teachers also play the role of evaluators by providing holistic assessments, covering aspects of knowledge, attitudes, skills, and spirituality, which help monitor the development of students’ character. This study provides an important contribution to renewing perspectives on the role of teachers in character education, especially in the context of Islamic religious education. Although these findings indicate success in character formation, external challenges, such as the influence of family and peers, continue to influence the implementation of the values taught.

Abstract

This study aims to explore how unresolved parenting wounds influence self-management in adulthood, particularly in the areas of emotional regulation, interpersonal relationships, financial independence, and career development. The background of this research highlights the significant role of early parental relationships in shaping psychological and behavioral patterns that persist into adulthood, often manifesting as challenges in managing emotions, relationships, and responsibilities. A qualitative research design was employed, using a case study approach to examine the experiences of a client undergoing hypnotherapy. Findings from the study revealed three key insights childhood parenting patterns marked by frequent verbal conflicts and emotional volatility, leading to emotional insecurity, persistent emotional responses such as sadness, anger, and helplessness that suggest unresolved trauma, and career and performance instability, largely influenced by emotional burnout and a lack of assertiveness. The study concludes with recommendations for future research to explore a broader and more diverse sample, including longitudinal studies that track the long-term effects of parenting wounds. Additionally, the integration of various therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy could enhance the understanding of how best to address these challenges and improve self-management in adulthood.

The method used is a qualitative approach of case study type, with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and observations. The data analysis technique used is thematic analysis, which helps in identifying important patterns related to human resource management in madrasahs. The results of the study indicate that human resource planning in this madrasah is carried out comprehensively, with teacher selection prioritizing academic qualifications and practical skills. The training provided combines theory and practice, and provides teachers with flexibility to choose training according to their needs. The implication of this study is that good human resource management, by paying attention to appropriate selection and relevant training, can improve the quality of teaching and teacher professionalism in madrasahs. This study also contributes to enriching the literature on human resource management in the madrasah education sector.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of village culture and the social environment in shaping the behavior of the younger generation in Belawan Bahagia Village. Amid the challenges of modern social change, preserving local values and fostering a healthy social environment are considered essential. A quantitative approach with multiple linear regression was employed, using data from 66 young respondents selected through purposive sampling. Classical assumption tests—normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity—confirmed the feasibility of the regression model. The F-test results (Sig. = 0.000) indicate that both independent variables significantly influence youth behavior. Partial T-tests show that village culture (β = 0.494; Sig. = 0.000) has a more dominant effect than the social environment (β = 0.353; Sig. = 0.002). The findings underscore the importance of strengthening local cultural values and social cohesion as strategic efforts to foster responsible and constructive youth behavior. The study highlights the critical role of educational management in shaping youth behavior by integrating local cultural values and social norms into the curriculum and extracurricular activities. Therefore, educational policies and practices should prioritize academic achievement and the cultivation of ethical values and social cohesion among the younger generation. However, the study is limited to internal community factors and excludes broader external influences.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between human resource management, technology adaptation, and principal leadership in influencing teacher productivity. Recognizing that teachers are central to effective educational implementation, the study explores how institutional HR practices, responsiveness to technological change, and school leadership contribute to enhancing teacher performance. A quantitative correlational approach was applied to test the hypothesis that all three variables positively affect teacher productivity. The findings reveal that the simultaneous F-test result (F = 54.845) exceeds the critical value (2.48) with a significance level of 0.000, indicating a statistically significant influence. Partial T-test results further confirm that each independent variable has a positive effect. The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.674) shows that 67.4% of teacher productivity is explained by the three variables. This study contributes to the development of strategic management practices in education by providing empirical evidence of key factors that enhance teacher productivity. However, the study is limited by its focus on internal school factors, excluding external elements such as policy, community involvement, or student characteristics.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between the management quality of the Sports Hall (GOR) and the level of community participation in sports. A mixed-methods approach was employed with an explanatory sequential design. Quantitative data were collected through questionnaires, while qualitative data were gathered through semi-structured interviews. The findings revealed that the management quality was generally good, particularly in administrative and public service aspects. However, shortcomings were noted in facility maintenance and the disposal of unfit equipment. Community participation was relatively low, with a participation index of 0.47 for GOR-based activities and 0.60 for outdoor sports. The Spearman correlation test indicated a positive and significant relationship between management quality and sports participation (r = 0.295; p = 0.003). These results suggest that enhancing GOR management quality could foster greater community engagement in physical activity. The implications for education are significant, as improved sports facility management can contribute to creating more inclusive and accessible environments for students, promoting physical education and active lifestyles.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of nonlinear academic qualifications among primary school teachers on student learning outcomes within the context of Islamic education in rural Indonesia. While teacher qualification alignment is widely considered a foundation of instructional quality, many schools—particularly in under-resourced areas—continue to assign teachers to subjects beyond their academic training. Employing a quantitative correlational design, this study surveyed 30 students from elementary of madrasas, using structured questionnaires, documentation, and classroom observations. Statistical analysis using Pearson product-moment correlation revealed a significant negative relationship (r = -0.512, p = 0.004) between teachers’ nonlinear qualifications and student academic performance. The coefficient of determination (R² = 0.262) indicates that approximately 26.2% of the variation in student outcomes is attributable to teacher qualification misalignment. These findings validate theoretical models of pedagogical content knowledge and reinforce prior empirical evidence emphasizing the importance of academic congruence. The results suggest an urgent need for realignment of teacher recruitment and placement policies to ensure subject specialization, particularly in rural schools. While academic nonlinearity is not the sole factor influencing learning, it remains a meaningful structural concern. The study recommends targeted retraining, curriculum responsiveness in teacher education, and further research into mediating variables such as teaching experience and institutional support.
