Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of cultivating the habit of performing Dhuha prayer in congregation on improving students concentration in learning and spiritual intelligence at the Dharma Asih Special Education School (SLB) in Kraksaan. The background of this study is based on the limited number of empirical studies that specifically examine religious habit-forming programs in special education settings (SLB). The study employed a quantitative, associative design involving 65 students selected through purposive sampling from a total population of 78 students ranging from elementary to high school levels. Data were collected using questionnaires for the variables of Dhuha prayer practice and spiritual intelligence, as well as performance-based tests for academic concentration. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, tests of normality and homogeneity, and hypothesis testing using the t-test. The results showed that the practice of congregational Dhuha prayer had a significant effect on learning concentration (calculated t = 4.87 > table t = 1.998, sig. = 0.000) with a contribution of 38.6%, and has a significant effect on students spiritual intelligence (t-calculated = 5.23 > t-table = 1.998, sig. = 0.000) with a contribution of 42.4%. These findings confirm that structured religious practices in the special education school environment can positively support the cognitive and spiritual development of students with special needs.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become an urgent need for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Industry 4.0 era, particularly in facing technological disruption and shifting consumer behavior. This study aims to construct the concept of MSME Digitalization Management in Kerinci Regency by examining challenges, adaptation strategies, and their implications for local competitiveness. The research method employed is a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, observation, and documentary studies. The results indicate that the implementation of digitalization still faces significant hurdles regarding digital literacy, limited infrastructure, and social resistance to change. Nevertheless, several MSMEs have successfully adapted through digital innovations such as online marketing, the use of e-commerce platforms, and collaboration among local business actors. The implementation of digitalization management is proven to have a positive impact on increasing operational efficiency, expanding market reach, and ensuring business sustainability. This study recommends strengthening the digital ecosystem through synergy between local governments, educational institutions, and business actors to achieve inclusive and sustainable digitalization. Thus, the findings of this study offer a theoretical contribution to the development of locally based digital management models as well as practical implications for enhancing regional economic competitiveness.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the Islamic financial industry has not been fully accompanied by the strengthening of ethical integrity and Sharia governance quality. This study examines the concept of dual supervision as an integrative model that combines regulatory oversight and taqwa-based internal control within Islamic economic systems. Using a qualitative library research approach, this study analyzes classical and contemporary Islamic legal thought, particularly drawing on Mausu’ah Qadhaya Fiqhiyyah Mu’ashirah by Dr. Ali al-Salus, along with relevant literature on Islamic governance and financial analysis. The findings indicate that regulatory supervision ensures formal compliance with Sharia standards and institutional procedures, while it remains insufficient in preventing moral hazards and ethical violations. Conversely, taqwa functions as an internal spiritual mechanism that fosters accountability, integrity, and ethical responsibility among economic actors. The integration of both dimensions produces a dual supervision framework that strengthens Sharia compliance, enhances governance effectiveness, and supports sustainable Islamic financial development. Furthermore, the model is relevant to contemporary challenges such as financial technology innovation, regulatory fragmentation, and increasing complexity in Islamic financial transactions. This study contributes to the development of Islamic governance theory and offers a conceptual framework for improving both Sharia compliance and ethical performance in Islamic financial institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between employee engagement and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) and their impact on the retention of millennial employees at PTPN VI Kayu Aro, Kerinci, Jambi. The high turnover rate among millennial employees poses a serious challenge for Indonesia s largest tea plantation company. The study employed a descriptive-associative quantitative approach with 120 millennial employee respondents selected through purposive sampling. The research instruments consisted of a structured questionnaire based on a 1 5 Likert scale adapted from the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) for the employee engagement variable, Organ s (1988) scale for OCB, and a retention scale developed from the theory of Mathis and Jackson (2011). Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 26. The results of the study indicate that: (1) employee engagement has a positive and significant effect on millennial employee retention (β = 0.412; p < 0.05); (2) OCB has a positive and significant effect on millennial employee retention (β = 0.338; p < 0.05); (3) simultaneously, employee engagement and OCB have a significant effect on millennial employee retention, with an F-value of 47.821 and an R of 0.578. The managerial implications suggest that PTPN VI Kayu Aro needs to strengthen engagement programs based on local wisdom values and foster a culture of OCB as a long-term retention strategy.
