Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 era has brought significant changes across various aspects, including organizational communication. Organizational transformation has become essential to address the challenges and opportunities emerging in the digital age. This study aims to analyze the digital communication strategies implemented by the Balai Diklat Keagamaan Denpasar (Religious Training Center of Denpasar) to support organizational transformation. Using a qualitative approach, the research employs a case study method to explore the implementation of digital communication in enhancing organizational effectiveness. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that integrated digital communication strategies, such as utilizing social media, technology-based applications, and relevant digital content management, play a pivotal role in improving internal and external communication efficiency. Additionally, these strategies foster collaboration, adaptation to changes, and the establishment of a technology-driven work culture. However, the study also identifies challenges, such as technological infrastructure limitations and low digital literacy among employees. Therefore, continuous digital literacy training and increased investment in technological infrastructure are recommended to sustain organizational transformation. This study provides valuable insights for other organizations aiming to implement digital communication strategies to address the challenges of the 4.0 era.

Abstract

This research examines the optimization strategy for digital transformation and communication to enhance employee performance at Sekopi Denpasar. In the face of rapid technological advances and a shifting business landscape, companies must adapt and optimize their internal processes to maintain competitiveness. Digital transformation and effective communication are key drivers in this adaptation process, influencing productivity, employee satisfaction, and overall organizational success. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach to explore how Sekopi Denpasar has implemented digital strategies and communication improvements to optimize employee performance. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation analysis, focusing on employees’ experiences with digital tools, communication channels, and their perceived impact on job performance. The findings reveal that a well-executed digital transformation strategy, alongside strong communication practices, leads to a more engaged and efficient workforce. Challenges in the process, including resistance to change and the need for continuous training, are also highlighted. The study suggests that companies like Sekopi Denpasar must focus on building a culture of innovation and transparency, fostering collaboration, and ensuring that digital tools align with employees' needs to maximize their potential. The research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on the intersection of digital transformation, communication, and employee performance, offering valuable insights for organizations seeking to thrive in a digital-first world.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the Implementation of the New Public Management Principle in Improving Passport Services at the Class I TPI Denpasar Immigration Office. By using a qualitative descriptive method, the researcher directly went to the research location and conducted interviews with parties who knew how the Implementation of the New Public Management Principle in Improving Passport Services at the Class I TPI Denpasar Immigration Office, as well as external parties, namely the community as passport applicants. This aims to obtain accurate information regarding the Implementation of the New Public Management Principle in Improving Passport Services at the Class I TPI Denpasar Immigration Office. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the New Public Management (NPM) principle in passport services at the Class I TPI Denpasar Immigration Office based on the principles that are the characteristics of NPM according to Christopher Hood is not all optimal and still needs improvement to be more efficient in passport services at the Class I TPI Denpasar Immigration Office.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of placement and career development on employee performance at PT Abadi Jaya Solusindo in Tangerang City. The method used is explanatory research with analysis techniques using statistical analysis with regression testing, correlation, determination and hypothesis testing. The results of this study placement has a significant effect on employee performance of 41.6%, the hypothesis test obtained t count> t table or (8.133> 1.986). Career development has a significant effect on employee performance of 43.8%, the hypothesis test obtained t count> t table or (8.508> 1.986). Placement and career development simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance of 52.6%, the hypothesis test obtained F count> F table or (51.106> 2.700).

Abstract

Rapid technological developments in the Industrial Era 4.0 have had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including the world of work and human resource management (HR). In facing this challenge, organizations need to formulate HR management strategies that can support improved organizational performance. This article aims to examine effective HR management strategies in improving organizational performance in the Industrial Era 4.0. The method used in this study is a qualitative approach with literature study analysis and in-depth interviews with HR practitioners in several leading companies. The strategies discussed include improving employee skills and competencies through technology-based training, implementing data-based management systems to improve operational efficiency, and creating an organizational culture that is adaptive to technological changes. In addition, the use of digital technology such as artificial intelligence and automation is also a key factor in increasing productivity and facilitating strategic decision-making related to HR management. The results of the study show that implementing the right HR management strategy can significantly improve organizational performance, create competitive advantages, and help organizations adapt quickly to changes in the digital era. Thus, organizations need to adapt quickly and effectively in managing HR to achieve sustainable long-term goals.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out whether the knowledge economy and culture are able to overcome the problems of economic resilience and sustainable development in Indonesia. The knowledge economy is a knowledge-based development built on a knowledge framework, while the cultural economy is based on a cultural economy framework. Economic resilience is needed so that sustainable development can run well. Economic resilience is able to maintain economic growth while strengthening sustainable development with the procedures of the knowledge economy and cultural economy. The research method uses Generalized Least Square regression estimation to measure the influence of knowledge economy and culture variables on economic resilience and sustainable development in Indonesia. From the results of the study, the variables of the knowledge economy and culture have a positive and significant effect on economic resilience and sustainable development in Indonesia. This study includes the variables of education, technology, innovation, aspects of democracy, and cultural heritage as proxies for the knowledge economy and culture. Sustainable development requires sustainable economic resilience in addition to the knowledge economy and culture. Sustainable economic resilience through technology and innovation will be able to survive and develop again so that sustainable development can continue to run and overcome shocks that will always appear in the economic cycle. The addition of determinants of innovation, cultural economy and sustainable development in Indonesia can strengthen the economic resilience variables and complement economic resilience to be better and unique.

Abstract

The problem of speech delay in children is quite a serious problem because it is one of the most common causes of developmental disorders found in male toddlers. Children can be said to have speech delays when the level of speech development is below the level of speech development quality of children of the same age which can be seen from the accuracy of word use. This study focuses on what are the dominant factors in cases of speech delay in toddlers. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The unit of analysis is speech delay. The subjects in this study were five male toddlers and one female toddler who experienced speech delays. The informants in this study numbered four people consisting of five parents and one sister of the subject. Data collection techniques used interviews, observations, and supporting documentation to strengthen the truth of the data taken. The results of the data analysis showed that the cause of speech delay in children was due to the duration of gadget use, as well as the communication style between parents and children. The implications of this study can help in early identification of speech delays in toddlers, so that intervention can be carried out earlier.

Abstract

According to the KPU, Gen Z first-time voters contributed 46,800,161 votes or 22.85% of the total number of voters in the 2024 Election. This figure has a significant influence on the success of the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Candidates in gaining votes. Voters who are voting for the first time in the 2024 Presidential Election are an experience that is greeted with enthusiasm and also confusion. Related to this enthusiasm, Presidential and Vice-Presidential Candidates must understand the psychology and motivations of these voters, which will later provide insight to Gen Z in actualizing their enthusiasm in their participation in the political arena. Gen Z voters tend to support candidates who prioritize attention to their interests such as values??on issues such as environmental protection, social justice, and an emphasis on sustainability and ethical considerations that extend to political preferences. Gen Z is known for their mastery of technology, so the process of searching for information is often done through the use of gadgets. However, to embrace Gen Z voters, there is a challenge because Gen Z is wisely involved in the election process by considering the candidate's platform and policies before voting. The purpose of this study is to describe the experiences of Gen Z in Jakarta in carrying out their roles as first-time voters in the 2024 Presidential Election. This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The informants who were interviewed in depth consisted of 10 people who lived in Jakarta. The results of the study show that informants tend to have motivation to use their voting rights, although there are Gen Z who participate at the encouragement of their parents. Gen Z's expectations of leaders are that they can answer problems during previous leadership, have responsibility, track records, experience and vision and mission that can be trusted, and have the soul of a leader. Sources of information accessed are Twitter, television, and parents. The message that sticks is a more specific message that is in accordance with the interests of Gen Z who have a character that is closely related to technology

Abstract

This type of qualitative research through a phenomenological approach, while the results showed that Nature-Based Ecotourism Development: Tourism development strategies should focus on ecotourism with the principle of environmental conservation to protect existing ecosystems. While in the aspect of Preserving and Strengthening Local Culture: The appropriate strategy is to preserve and promote local culture through festivals, arts, and crafts, and involve the community in these activities. On the aspect of Improving Tourism Infrastructure and Facilities: The development of tourism infrastructure, including roads, transport, and adequate accommodation facilities, should be a priority. Good accessibility to tourist destinations will increase the number of tourist visits. For the Digital Tourism Promotion aspect: Utilise digital platforms for tourism promotion and marketing. In addition, Local Community Involvement: Tourism development that involves local communities in economic activities such as homestays, tour guides, and craft businesses will provide direct economic benefits to them, while encouraging awareness of the importance of protecting the environment and culture. Collaboration and Partnership: Local governments need to establish partnerships with the private sector, local communities, as well as national and international institutions to support inclusive, sustainable, and local potential-based tourism development.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the Effect of Enforcement of Major Regulation No. 888 of 2012 on Compliance with Street Vendors (PKL). The research method used a descriptive method with a quantitative approach, while the data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires to several samples. The sample used was 85 people. From the results of the respondent's response variable (X) obtained a score of 3272 while variable (Y) obtained a score of 4608 from the results of the hypothesis test t_count 7.347 and t_table 1.988 then t_count> t_table so that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means the Enforcement of Major Regulation No. 888 of 2012 has an effect Against the Compliance of Street Vendors (PKL). Based on the coefficient of determination (KD), it is known that the achievement of the ability of the X variable affects the Y variable, namely 39.44%, while the remaining 60.56% is influenced by other variables that are not included. Suggestions in this study, especially Satpol PP personnel who apply regulations can be friendly and not arrogant in terms of taking action or imposing sanctions for street vendors who violate and are stubborn but be cooperative and it is also hoped that street vendors can follow the rules applied so that the beauty of the city of Bandung is maintained.
