Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of marriage policies and the attitudes of prospective brides and grooms towards marriage counseling on the performance of pre-marital counselors in achieving marital adjustments within Garut Regency. Employing an exploratory analysis method, the study focused on the leaders of the Marriage Advice, Development, and Preservation Agency in Garut Regency, including the Chairperson and Vice-Chairpersons, totaling 86 individuals, utilizing a census sampling technique. Data collection encompassed questionnaires, interviews, observations, and documentary research. Statistical path analysis was the chosen technique to address the research hypotheses. The primary hypothesis testing revealed that the implementation of marriage policies and the attitudes of prospective brides and grooms influenced pre-marital counselor performance in achieving adjustments by 12.79%, with the remaining 87.21% attributed to other factors. Further sub-hypothesis testing demonstrated that marriage policies and prospective brides' and grooms' attitudes toward marriage counseling accounted for 25.43%, while other factors constituted 74.57%. Intriguingly, the implementation of marriage policies and attitudes toward marriage counseling did not significantly impact marital adjustments (path coefficient of 0.0364). Pre-marital counselor performance also had limited effects on marital adjustments (path coefficient of 0.1526). Moreover, there was a positive correlation between the implementation of marriage policies and the attitudes of prospective brides and grooms toward marriage counseling (partial correlation coefficient of 0.6783). The research identified key issues, such as suboptimal policy implementation, lack of awareness and motivation among prospective brides and grooms, ineffective interagency collaboration, and a shortage of skilled staff among pre-marital counselors. In light of these findings, it is recommended to improve policy implementation, enhance interagency cooperation, and increase awareness among prospective brides and grooms regarding the significance of pre-marital counseling for successful marriages. These measures are essential for addressing the prevalent marital issues and lack of warmth and affection in young couples' family lives in Garut Regency.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of financial literacy, financial attitudes, locus of control and government assistance on financial behavior in MSMEs receiving assistance in Langsa City. The sample in this study amounted to 374 people. The data analysis method uses multiple linear regression analysis, t test, F test, and coefficient of determination test. The regression equation in this research is Y = 4.116 + 0.311X1 + 0.120X2 + 0.060X3 + 0.201X4. A constant of 4.116 shows the value of financial behavior in MSMEs if financial literacy, financial attitude, locus of control and government assistance have a fixed value. The regression coefficients of financial literacy, financial attitudes, locus of control and government assistance show a positive influence on the financial behavior of MSMEs. Financial literacy, financial attitudes, locus of control and government assistance partially have a significant effect on the financial behavior of MSMEs receiving assistance in Langsa City, where from the t test the t sig value is obtained. each variable is 0.00 < 0.05. Financial literacy, financial attitudes, locus of control and government assistance simultaneously have a significant effect on the financial behavior of MSMEs receiving assistance in Langsa City, where from the F test the F sig value is obtained. equal to 0.00 < 0.05. From the analysis of the coefficient of determination it is known that the variables financial literacy, financial attitude, locus of control and government assistance influence the financial behavior of MSMEs receiving assistance in Langsa City by 52.4%, while the remaining 47.6% is influenced by other variables outside this research model.

Abstract

This research is an associative quantitative research, with a significance level of ? = 0.05 (5%) and a confidence level of 95%. The sample used random sampling with a sample of 123. The data collection method used a primary data system, namely observation and questionnaires and secondary data, namely literature study. Instrument testing uses validity tests and reliability tests, and data analysis methods use frequency distribution analysis, simple linear regression, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, and t test. Data calculations were carried out manually and using SPSS. The research results show that the discipline variable in the frequency distribution analysis is perceived as good at 3.41 and employee performance is good at 3.44. In the linear regression analysis Y = 30.408 + 0.679 So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, these results explain that there is a significant influence between discipline on employee performance at the Indovickers Furnitama manufacturer.
