Abstract

This study aims to analyze Neo-Taliban changes in controlling Afghanistan and interpret the perception of the Neo-Taliban victory that can trigger the rise of terror acts in Indonesia, as well as clarify the anticipation of the rise of terror acts over the euphoria of the Taliban victory in Afghanistan from a national security perspective. Ethnography is used as a method in this study to explore the phenomenon of terrorism which was inspired by the victory of the Taliban in Afghanistan. The results of the study show that Neo-Taliban changes that are considered rulers in Afghanistan are not due to an absolute victory but the Doha peace agreement. The perception of the Neo-Taliban victory can be euphoric, especially on the 20th anniversary of the 911 incident which is feared to encourage acts of terror. Anticipation that needs to be done is patrols on social media to reduce the euphoria of reporting the Taliban victory.

Abstract The stages of adolescent development are generally at the age of high school students who are equipped with developmental tasks to have a good self-identity. Previous research mentioned that there was a public opinion that one form of achieving successful students' self-identity is that they succeed in becoming students at the State Higher Education Universities (PTN). In order to meet these perfect expectations, some students try to be istiqomah in learning by following tutoring program outside of school. By using quantitative research and data collection using purposive random sampling, this research tries to see how the relationship between istiqomah learning and perfectionism of high school students participating in tutoring and trying to see the effect of self-compassion as a moderator variable. Data obtained from 90 respondents showed that there is a significant relationship between Istiqomah learning and student perfectionism (r = 0.417, p = 0.00), there is a negative relationship between perfectionism and self-compassion (r = -0.329, p = 0.002), while self-compassion as a moderator has no significant effect on the relationship between the other two variables (Int_1 t= -0.3052, p = 0.7609).

Abstract

This study aims to develop a religiosity scale called tadayyun, based on an Islamic approach rooted in the Qur'an, hadith, and the opinions of scholars. The research sample consisted of 269 participants residing throughout Indonesia, ranging in age from 18 to 40 years old. Data were collected using the tadayyun scale, which comprised 27 items derived from literature studies. The reliability test results, measured using Cronbach's Alpha, yielded a value of 0.839, indicating good internal consistency. All items demonstrated satisfactory discrimination abilities (p>0.138). Validation was conducted through Exploratory Factor Analysis, identifying three factors. Three items did not meet the criteria for a loading factor above 0.03, resulting in a valid item count of 24. This is due to the existence of intersections at the conceptual level regarding every aspect of tadayyun. The result shows the existence of a strong relationship between faith, worship and morals in measuring a Muslim's religiousness.

Abstract

Today’s, general of Muslim community only recognizes one type of recitation method of the Qur'an, specifically riwayat Hafsh 'an Ashim min Tariq Syathibiyah. This recitation became an international standard among qiraat scholars, students, and the general of Muslims. Qiraat sciences collect the principles of different recitation of the Qur'an which are attributed to qiraat scholars (a'immah al-qira'at). Based from Abul Fadhl Ar-Razi's theory about the meaning of Sab'atu Ahruf, the different recitations of the Qur'an (Ikhtilaf al-Qira'ah) have several criteria, including: Differences in nouns (Isim), verbs (Fi'il), cases ( I'rab), adding and subtracting words (Ziyadah wa Naqishah), prioritizing and ending a pronunciation (Taqdim wa Ta'khir), changing letters (Tabdil) and dialect differences (lahjah). This difference of recitations has connection with Arabic morphology (Sharaf), for example in the words "tabayyanu" and "tatsabbatu" in Surah An-Nisa verse 94 and Al-Hujurat verse 6. The purpose of this study is to find out the exact contextual meaning of the differences in qiraat so that it can be applied in the life. The research method used is descriptive-analytic method with literature review and observation. Based on the study that I described in this article, it can be concluded that the differences in the qiraat of the sentences 'Tabayyanu' and 'Tatsabbatu' have different contexts of meaning and complement each other in relation to communication ethics.

Abstract

How did France’s refusal to take part in the war on Iraq in 2003 has created the conditions that legitimizes its future military interventions abroad? In this paper, a discourse analysis of the official French Foreign Policy Discourse is done to show why saying no to war in 2003 paradoxically allows France to carry out military interventions in 2015. This paper argues that France, while perpetrating an existing discourse of democracy opposing the civilized against the uncivilized that legitimates Foreign policy as a security tool, by its refusal, transformed military intervention a latent policy andlegitimized the French Self as the most civilized Self.
