Abstract

This study aims to explore the effects of business capital and business duration on business revenue, with digital accounting as a moderating variable. The research employs a quantitative survey approach and was conducted with a sample of 70 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Sungai Penuh, Jambi Province. The findings of the study reveal that both business capital and business duration have a significant and positive influence on business revenue, together explaining 40.1% of the variance in revenue. This suggests that businesses with higher capital and longer operational durations tend to generate more revenue. However, the study also found that digital accounting does not have a significant moderating effect on the relationship between business capital, business duration, and revenue, despite the fact that its inclusion in the analysis increased the explanatory power from 40.1% to 63.1%. This indicates that while digital accounting has the potential to improve understanding of business performance, its impact in moderating the relationship between traditional business factors (such as capital and duration) and revenue is still limited. The results suggest that traditional factors, such as adequate capital and business longevity, play a more direct and influential role in driving revenue compared to the current role of digital accounting tools. This highlights the need for SMEs to focus on strengthening foundational business elements, but also indicates that the integration of digital accounting could provide additional insights into business operations and potentially improve business outcomes over time, although its effects are not yet pronounced in this context.

Abstract

Tantrums are a common behavioral issue in early childhood, characterized by intense and excessive emotional outbursts that occur in specific situations. These episodes often reflect the child's limited ability to articulate needs or emotions verbally. This study aimed to identify and analyze the strategies employed by teachers in managing tantrum behaviors among early childhood learners at PAUD Permata Ibu and TKS IT Misbahul Ikhlas in Aceh Besar. A qualitative descriptive approach was used in this research, employing observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection methods. The subjects of the study were four teachers from Class A in early childhood education institutions, with the object of the research focusing on the strategies these teachers implemented in managing tantrums. The findings revealed that teachers use structured and empathetic methods, allowing children to express emotions under close supervision. Once calm, teachers engage in gentle communication to address the root of the tantrum and guide children toward better behavior by explaining consequences. Emotional bonding, such as hugs or gentle touches, provides comfort, while corrective actions, like marking fingers with tape to deter harmful behavior, remain educational. Teachers also redirect attention to positive activities and provide encouragement to boost confidence and emotional regulation. These strategies highlight the importance of patience, empathy, and tailored approaches to foster emotional growth and self-control in young children.

Abstract

Information technology (IT)-based learning models can help students obtain information quickly and accurately. This research aims to analyze the influence of IT-based learning models on junior high school students' learning outcomes. The research design used was an experiment with two groups, namely an experimental class that used an IT-based learning model and a control class that used conventional learning methods. Data was obtained through pretests and posttests given before and after treatment. The research results showed that there were significant differences between the learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class. In the pretest, the average experimental class score was 3.37 points higher (t = 2.484; p = 0.013). This difference increased in the posttest, with the average experimental class score being 12.16 points higher (t = 4.215; p = 0.000). These findings indicate that an attractive IT-based learning model can significantly improve student learning outcomes. It is hoped that the results of this research can be a reference for educators in adopting IT-based learning models as an effective learning strategy to improve the quality of student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze two learning models, namely the Information Processing Model and the Behavioral Model, as well as their implications in the educational process. Using a literature review method with a qualitative approach, this research examines the theories, principles, and applications of both models based on relevant literature. The Information Processing Model emphasizes students' cognitive processes, such as problem-solving and information processing, while the Behavioral Model focuses on behavior formation through reinforcement and observable behavior modification. The results indicate that both models have unique characteristics that can be adapted according to the goals, content, and conditions of the learners. Proper application of these learning models can enhance the effectiveness of teaching and learning by optimally meeting students' needs.
