Abstract

Lesson plan (RPP) preparation is a fundamental competency that every teacher must master to ensure effective and purposeful learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). However, in practice, many MI teachers still face challenges in preparing quality lesson plans that are aligned with curriculum demands, student characteristics, and Islamic educational values. This study aims to examine the position, components, principles, and steps of effective RPP preparation as the basis for learning planning in MI. This research employs a qualitative descriptive method with a library research approach, collecting data from scientific journals, books, and relevant curriculum documents. The results indicate that RPP in MI is not merely an administrative document, but serves as a strategic instrument that reflects the teacher’s pedagogical competence. An effective RPP integrates Islamic values with academic competencies and is structured based on observable learning objectives, appropriate learning methods, and formative assessment. The findings also emphasize that teacher quality in lesson planning is directly influenced by content knowledge, procedural knowledge, and the support of academic supervision. This study concludes that strengthening RPP preparation practices in MI requires systematic training, regular supervision, and the development of an integrative RPP model that holistically accommodates the academic and Islamic character dimensions of elementary-level students.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the potential of video media in improving the effectiveness of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning in the digital era. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach using library research methods. Data were collected from scientific journals, books, and relevant research articles related to the use of video media in PAI learning. The findings indicate that video media has significant potential in enhancing students’ learning motivation, improving understanding of abstract materials, strengthening memory retention, and supporting the development of Islamic moral values and character. Through audio-visual presentations, video media creates more interactive, interesting, and contextual learning experiences. In addition, video-based learning supports independent learning because students can access learning materials repeatedly through digital devices. However, the implementation of video media in PAI learning still faces several challenges, including limited technological facilities, internet accessibility, and teachers’ competence in selecting and developing appropriate learning videos. Therefore, video media can serve as an effective innovation to improve the quality of Islamic Religious Education learning in the era of information technology.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the compliance of Annual Tax Return (SPT Tahunan) reporting among civil servant teachers (ASN teachers) within the Department of Education of Jember Regency. The research focuses on understanding the quality of tax compliance, the factors influencing compliance behavior, and the role of school operators in the reporting process. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach to explore the experiences, perceptions, and obstacles faced by ASN teachers in fulfilling their tax obligations. Data were collected through in-depth semi-structured interviews and documentation involving ASN teachers, school operators, and related officials within the Department of Education. The collected data were analyzed using an interactive analysis model consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the compliance of ASN teachers in reporting Annual Tax Returns has been formally achieved and generally completed on time. However, such compliance is predominantly driven by administrative obligations, sanctions, and professional allowance requirements rather than voluntary tax awareness. The study also reveals a significant dependence of teachers on school operators due to limited tax literacy and difficulties in using digital tax systems, especially during the transition from DJP Online to Coretax. In addition, tax socialization programs conducted by the tax office and the Department of Education have contributed positively to improving reporting orderliness, although their implementation has not yet reached all teachers directly.

Abstract

This study examines the historical trajectory of Singapore’s transformation from a vulnerable post-colonial island into a global economic powerhouse. The purpose of this research is to analyze the strategic development models, leadership dynamics, and structural modernizations that drove this rapid evolution. Utilizing a qualitative historical method with a literature review approach, this study synthesizes academic sources and empirical data concerning Singapore’s socio-political development. The findings reveal that Singapore’s success was anchored in the decisive and pragmatic leadership of Lee Kuan Yew, which established a highly disciplined political system, strict anti-corruption governance through meritocracy, and a strong rule of law. To overcome severe resource limitations and high post-independence unemployment, the government implemented state capitalism through export-oriented industrialization, heavily attracting multinational corporations via open market policies and business incentives. Furthermore, long-term sustainability was secured through massive public investments in a knowledge-based economy, global-standard education, vertically integrated urban planning (smart nation), and innovative water infrastructure. These systemic transformations eventually generated profound sociological shifts, fostering a highly rational, professional, and technology-adaptive contemporary society. In conclusion, Singapore’s rise demonstrates how strategic policy integration, institutional integrity, and human capital development can effectively overcome physical and geopolitical vulnerabilities to achieve first-world status.

Abstract

This study discusses social edupreneurship innovation as an effort to strengthen literacy and numeracy among elementary and junior high school students in Dharmasraya Regency. The main issue addressed is the uneven development of students’ abilities in reading, understanding information, performing calculations, and applying mathematical concepts in everyday life. These conditions are influenced by limited learning resources, differences in students’ abilities, low levels of family support, and the suboptimal use of learning data in schools. To address these issues, this study proposes the concept of the Village Literacy and Numeracy Center as a community-based learning model. This program connects schools, families, village governments, volunteers, and local communities through guided reading activities, reading corners, diagnostic classes, contextual numeracy laboratories, as well as mentoring programs for teachers and parents. The uniqueness of the program lies in its use of local community life as a learning resource, such as village markets, agricultural products, folklore, and local economic activities. Through this approach, literacy and numeracy are understood not only as academic competencies but also as essential life skills. The program also emphasizes simple evaluation through student progress data, enabling teachers to adjust learning strategies according to students’ actual needs. This study highlights that strengthening basic education must be carried out collaboratively, simply, equitably, and sustainably in order to reduce learning disparities and build a strong educational culture at the village level through the active and responsible involvement of all community elements.

Abstract

This study examines the role of family support in a child’s emotional development as portrayed in the film Inside Out (2015). The aims of this research are to identify the emotional development experienced by the main character, Riley, to analyze the types of family support depicted in the film, and to examine the role of family support in her emotional development. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a psychological approach. The theoretical framework is based on Berk’s (2018) theory of emotional development and Friedman et al.’s (2021) theory of family support. Data were collected through documentation by analyzing selected scenes and dialogues that represent Riley’s emotional experiences and family interactions. The findings show that Riley experiences several aspects of emotional development, including self-conscious emotions, emotional understanding, and emotional self-regulation, especially during her adjustment to a new environment after relocation. In addition, the film portrays three types of family support: emotional support, informational support, and appraisal support. The results indicate that family support plays a significant role in Riley’s emotional development by helping her develop emotional awareness, strengthen emotional understanding, and improve emotional regulation in dealing with challenging situations.

Abstract

The One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) is an administrative service innovation introduced within the judicial sector to enhance service quality, simplify public access, and improve user satisfaction. This study aims to examine the implementation of the One-Stop Integrated Service and its influence on the quality of public services at the Probolinggo District Court. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed in this research. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and documentation, while the analysis followed an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The study adopted the policy implementation framework developed by Van Meter and Van Horn, which emphasizes policy standards and objectives, resources, characteristics of implementing agencies, inter-organizational communication, implementers’ disposition, and socio-economic and political conditions. The findings indicate that the implementation of PTSP at the Probolinggo District Court has been carried out effectively and has contributed to improving public service quality. This improvement is reflected in easier access to services, clearer administrative procedures, greater efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery, and the availability of supporting facilities and infrastructure. Nevertheless, several challenges remain, including limited human resources during peak service periods and the increasing number of service users, which requires adjustments in service capacity. Therefore, continuous efforts are needed to strengthen staff competencies, optimize the use of information technology, and enhance service management systems to achieve more responsive, transparent, and high-quality public services.

Abstract

The rapid development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has significantly transformed various sectors, including education, healthcare, finance, and public services. However, the extensive use of AI systems that rely on massive data collection and processing has raised serious concerns regarding the protection of personal data. This study aims to analyze the legal protection of personal data in the era of Artificial Intelligence and examine the risks of data misuse that may threaten individual privacy rights. The research employs a normative legal research method using statutory and conceptual approaches. Primary legal materials consist of Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection, while secondary materials include journals, books, and previous studies related to AI and data privacy. The findings indicate that AI technologies may lead to various forms of personal data misuse, such as unauthorized data collection, identity theft, algorithmic discrimination, data leakage, and profiling without user consent. Although Indonesia has established a legal framework for personal data protection, the implementation and supervision of such regulations remain inadequate due to limited public awareness, weak law enforcement, and rapid technological advancement. Therefore, stronger regulatory mechanisms, transparent data governance, and increased digital literacy are necessary to ensure that AI development remains aligned with human rights principles and privacy protection.

Abstract

The increase in female employees in the workforce is accompanied by demands as workers as well as demands in their personal lives. This condition creates an imbalance between work and personal life that can affect female employees' loyalty to the company. This study aims to examine the effect of work-life balance on female employee loyalty. This study uses a quantitative approach with a causal type. The sampling technique used non-probability sampling, and data analysis was performed using simple linear regression. The sample consisted of 111 female employees. The employee loyalty scale referred to Huda's (2020) measurement tool based on Chen et al.'s (2002) theory, and the work-life balance scale was based on Fisher et al.'s (2009) theory. The validity results of the study with a corrected item-total correlation value on the employee loyalty scale of 0.431-0.853 and reliability of 0.950, the work-life balance scale of 0.414-0.853 and a reliability value of 0.930. The results showed a significant positive influence between work-life balance and employee loyalty (r = 0.568; p < 0.05), meaning that the higher the work-life balance, the higher the loyalty. The coefficient of determination (R²) value is 0.323, which means that work-life balance contributes 32.3%, while the remaining 67.7% is influenced by other factors.
