Abstract

The development of social media is currently increasingly rapid, marked by the increasing number of internet users in Indonesia. The large number of social media followers is a problem found by several coffee shop SMEs in assessing how effective advertising is via social media, where with almost the same menu list as REN Coffee & Eatery at the same time as Brown Bottle Coffee joined Instagram in September 2020, there are differences in the number of followers on their respective Instagrams, for REN Coffee & Eatery it has 16,600 Instagram followers, but Brown Black Coffee only has 14,600 Instagram followers. Through this research, the author aims to determine the level of effectiveness of Brown Bottle Coffee Instagram advertising. Based on the research results, the largest dimension score is 4.37 for the persuasion dimension. The persuasion dimension (Persuasion) shows that the promotion carried out by SMEs using Instagram was successful in attracting interest and building the trust of respondents to decide to buy the product provided. The promotion was effective in convincing consumers, because it did not only rely on images, but also videos. The EPIC rate for all dimensions based on the EPIC model is 4.30.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of organizational culture on employee performance and the number of respondents was 51 respondents. Employees as samples in this study were given a questionnaire consisting of 32 statements. Responses to the questionnaire were tested for validity and reliability before multiple linear regression analysis was carried out. The results of testing the research instrument, namely the questionnaire, show that 32 questions are valid because rcount > rtable. Apart from that, all statements are reliable because the Cronbach Alpha value is > 0.06 (0.963 > 0.06) and is in the good category. The regression equation obtained is Y = -0.081 + 0.670 + 0.853 + 1.791 - 0.036 – 0.158 – 0.512 – 1.573. The multiple correlation coefficient value is 0.971, which means the correlation between Innovation and Risk Taking (X1), Paying Attention to Details (X2), Results Orientation (X3), People Orientation (X4), Team Orientation (X5), Aggressiveness (X6), Stability (X7) influence Employee Performance (Y) at the Paser Regency Plantation and Livestock Service. The coefficient of determination value is 0.935, meaning that the variables Innovation and Risk Taking (X1), Paying Attention to Details (X2), Results Orientation (X3), People Orientation (X4), Team Orientation (X5), Aggressiveness (X6), Stability (X7) have an influence on Employee Performance (Y) at the Paser Regency Plantation and Livestock Service by 93.5% while the rest is explained by other factors not researched at (100–93.5)% = 6.5%. Simultaneous testing of the F test shows that if Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, the value obtained is 103.109 > 2.23, this Fcount>Ftable shows that Organizational Culture (X) which consists of Innovation and risk taking (X1), Paying attention to details (X2), Results orientation (X3), People orientation (X4), Team orientation (X5), Aggressiveness (X6), Stability (X7), together (simultaneously) have a significant influence significant to Employee Performance (Y). Next, partial testing was carried out, namely the t test was used. The t test was carried out to compare the tcount test value with the ttable test. If tcount>ttable then H0 is rejected. Ha is accepted, meaning that there is an influence between the independent variable and the dependent variable. Meanwhile, if tcount < ttable then H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected, meaning that there is no influence between the independent variable and the dependent variable. From the test it can be concluded that the variable Paying Attention to Detail (X2) has a dominant influence on Employee Performance (Y) at the Paser Regency Plantation and Livestock Service. With a tcount value of 5.503 which is the highest tcount value when compared with the tcount values of other variables and a significance level of 0.000.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the simultaneous and partial influence as well as the dominant variables of leadership style (X1) and work motivation (X2) on the performance of non-permanent employees (Y), of the Paser Regency Regional Revenue Agency. The population of this study were temporary employees of the Paser Regency Regional Revenue Agency, using a saturated sampling technique and the number of samples obtained was 47 respondents. This research questionnaire consists of 21 statements. The results of testing the research instrument, namely the questionnaire, showed that 21 statements were declared valid because r calculated > r table, namely 0.2907. Apart from that, all statements were declared reliable because the Cronbach's Alpha value was greater than 0.60 (0.884 > 0.60). The regression equation obtained is Y= 7.595 + 0.021X1 + 0.471X2. Leadership style variables (X1), work motivation (X2), have a positive influence on the performance of non-permanent employees (Y) at the Paser Regency Regional Revenue Agency. The correlation coefficient value R is 0.818, which means that the correlation relationship is very strong between leadership style (X1), work motivation (X2), and the performance of non-permanent employees (Y). The Adjusted R Square value is 0.654, which means that the independent variables, namely leadership style (X1) and work motivation (X2) can explain employee performance (Y) by 65.4%, while 34.6% is explained by other factors outside this research. The results of the F test obtained an Fcount value of 44.415 and a significant level of 0.000 and an Ftable value of 3.21 (df 2:44), so Fcount > Ftable (44.415 > 3.21) so that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, which means there is a simultaneous (simultaneous) influence of the leadership style variables (X1) and work motivation (X2) on the performance of non-permanent employees (Y) at the Regional Revenue Agency of Paser Regency. The results of the t test showed that the value of the Leadership style variable (X1) was 2.731 with a significant level of 0.009 and the work motivation variable (X2) was 9.313 with a significant level of 0.001, so tcount > ttable (tcount > 2.01537) so that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, which means there is an independent or partial influence on the leadership style variables (X1) and work motivation (X2) The highest t-count value is the work motivation variable (X2) of 9.313 which has a dominant influence on the performance of non-permanent employees (Y), at the Regional Revenue Agency of Paser Regency. so the second hypothesis is that the work motivation variable (X2) which has a dominant influence on the performance of non-permanent employees (Y) at the Paser Regency Regional Revenue Agency is proven so that the conclusion is that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the influence of motivation on the performance of civil servants (PNS) at the Paser Regency Regional Revenue Agency Office. The results of the validity test show that the total of 15 statements all have a value greater than 0.2973, which means that the rtable value can be interpreted as the conclusion that all statements are declared valid. From the results of the reliability test, it can be seen that the results obtained were Cronbach'alpha 0.913 > 06, which means that the questionnaire items were declared reliable (feasible). From the research results, it was found that the regression equation Y= -1,546+0,054 +1,199 +0,593 +0,065 +0,799 . The correlation coefficient (R) is 0.889. This shows that there is a strong relationship between the variables Physiological Needs (X1), Safety Needs (X2), Social Needs (X3), Esteem Needs (X4), and Self-Actualization Needs (X5) on Employee Performance (Y) at the Paser Regency Regional Revenue Agency Office. Meanwhile, the R square determination is .0790, which means that motivational variables or influences have an influence of 79.0% on the performance of Civil Servants (Y) at the Paser Regency Regional Revenue Agency Office, while the remaining 21% is influenced by other variables not included in this research. From the results obtained Fcount is 7.161 > Ftable is 2.46. This means that there is a joint influence between the variables Physiological Needs (X1), Safety Needs (X2), Social Needs (X3), Esteem Needs (X4), and Self-Actualization Needs (X5) on the Performance of Civil Servants (PNS) at the Paser Regency Regional Revenue Agency Office. Thus, the hypothesis which states that Physiological Needs (X1) has a dominant influence on the Performance of Civil Servants (Y) at the Paser Regency Regional Revenue Agency Office is not accepted because according to the research results, the dominant variable is the Security Needs variable (X2) with a value of tcount > ttable (2.431 > 2.02439).

Abstract

Tourism Special Economic Zones (SEZs) are strategic instruments for enhancing investment attractiveness and stimulating local economic growth. However, the effectiveness of Tourism SEZs in achieving these goals remains a subject of academic and policy debate. This study aims to analyze the feasibility of Tourism SEZs in boosting investment and regional economies through a literature review that examines economic theories, government policies, and case studies of existing SEZs. The research employs a qualitative approach based on a literature study from journals, books, and official reports. The findings indicate that the success of Tourism SEZs highly depends on factors such as investment incentives, supporting infrastructure, conducive regulations, and the active role of stakeholders. Additionally, SEZs with strong destination branding strategies tend to be more successful in attracting investment and increasing regional revenue. The study's implications highlight the importance of adaptive, data-driven policy design in managing Tourism SEZs to generate significant and sustainable economic impacts. Therefore, synergy between government, private sectors, and local communities is crucial in optimizing Tourism SEZs as a driver of local economic growth.

Abstract

PT Kereta Api Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) is the pioneer of high-speed rail services in Indonesia under the Whoosh brand, connecting Jakarta and Bandung. Despite offering a modern mobility solution, its occupancy rate remains suboptimal, with passenger load factor reaching only 63.35% in October 2024. This study aims to analyze KCIC’s service operations through the service blueprint approach, focusing on service quality, service encounter, and servicescape. A qualitative descriptive research method was applied, with data collected through direct observations, interviews with KCIC managers and passengers, and document analysis. The findings indicate that while Whoosh offers technologically advanced services with a modern servicescape, issues persist in customer interactions, reservation system efficiency, and service responsiveness. The service blueprint analysis suggests that enhancing customer touchpoints, optimizing digital ticketing technology, and training staff in service encounter can improve customer experience. The study's implications provide strategic recommendations for KCIC to enhance its competitiveness through more efficient service management and customer-oriented improvements.

Abstract

The Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) sector plays a pivotal role in Indonesia's economy, particularly in cities like Surabaya. This article aims to analyze the contribution of MSMEs in curbing inflation and absorbing labor in Surabaya. Using a qualitative descriptive method, this study reviews existing literature and data from various sources. The findings indicate that MSMEs significantly absorb labor, thereby reducing unemployment and increasing community income, which in turn helps control inflation. However, challenges such as limited access to capital and technology remain. Strengthening MSMEs is crucial for economic stability and employment in Surabaya.
