Abstract

Tujuan artikel ini adalah untuk menyelidiki dan mengevaluasi bagaimana penggunaan gadget oleh siswa sekolah dasar mempengaruhi perkembangan mereka.  Tinjauan literatur yang relevan menjadi dasar penyelidikan.  Menurut penelitian, sebagian besar anak-anak menggunakan perangkat mereka sebagian besar untuk bermain game dan menonton film animasi, meskipun idealnya digunakan sebagai alat pengajaran.  Untuk mengurangi dampak merugikan dari penggunaan gadget rutin anak-anak, pengawasan orang tua sangat penting.  Guru juga dapat mengarahkan anak-anak ke kegiatan ekstrakurikuler yang lebih konstruktif sebagai pembimbing untuk membantu mereka meningkatkan keterampilan sosial mereka.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dalam SAINS, khususnya dalam pencampuran warna, melalui teknik batik jumputan. Empat belas anak, tujuh laki-laki dan tujuh perempuan, dari Kelompok A di TK Doa Anak Sholeh Gondangwetan, Kabupaten Pasuruan, menjadi sampel penelitian.  Empat tahap model Kemmis dan McTaggart-perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi-digunakan dalam laporan praktik terbaik ini.  Observasi dan dokumentasi merupakan metode yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data, sedangkan pendekatan deskriptif-analitis digunakan untuk analisis data.  Temuan menunjukkan bahwa permainan berbasis proyek selama dua siklus meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis anak-anak dalam SAINS, terutama dalam pencampuran warna dengan batik jumputan.  Menurut hasil, anak-anak memiliki perkembangan yang sangat baik (BSB).  Kesimpulannya, kemampuan berpikir kritis anak dalam SAINS dapat ditingkatkan dengan project based play menggunakan batik jumputan

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran penting dalam membangun karakter dan sumber daya manusia yang maju untuk menjadikan negara Indonesia tidak hanya berkembang, tetapi juga menjadi negara maju seperti Jepang dan negara maju lainnya. Menurut Wirawan, Pendidikan merupakan wadah yang paling tepat untuk membangun bangsa yang lebih baik lagi untuk menghadapi era digital yang semakin elit. (fatayatul, implementasi dan optimalisasi kur merdeka) kurikulum apapun yang digunakan,tujuannya tetap sama untuk mencerdaskan anak-anak bangsa. Kurikulum juga berfungsi sebagai paduan bagi para ndidik dalam proses pengajaran,dengan tujuan mencapai hasil pembelajaran. Perubahan kurikulum bisa membuat semangat baru bagi peserta didik untuk mencari dan menerima suatu ilmu pengetahuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. RA Al-Mukarromah, Kecamatan Sungkai Utara, berhasil menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka secara efektif dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai keagamaan dan menekankan pengembangan keterampilan holistik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji keefektifan penggunaan kerajinan tekstil jumputan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan psikomotorik halus pada anak penyandang ADHD. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman, yang mencakup reduksi data, penyajian data, serta verifikasi/penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi teknik untuk memastikan kedalaman temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pembuatan tekstil jumputan melibatkan berbagai keterampilan motorik halus, seperti mengikat kain dengan karet atau tali raffia, menggunting kain, dan mencelupkan kain ke dalam pewarna. Selain berkontribusi pada perkembangan motorik halus, kegiatan ini juga mendukung perkembangan sosial-emosional anak melalui interaksi dalam penyelesaian karya, bertukar ide, serta kemampuan mengapresiasi hasil karya orang lain.

Abstract

This research was conducted to gain knowledge and conduct a review of the implementation and analysis of the implementation of the Merseka Curriculum in Driving Schools, namely SDN 2 Cibunar and SDN 3 Kersamenak in Garut Regency. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach where data was collected by interviews, observation and documentation. The informants in this research were school principals, teachers, students and parents. To ensure the validity of the data, time was extended in collecting data, observing activities in the two elementary schools studied, and triangulating the data. The results of the research found that the Merdeka Curriculum must be implemented in Driving Schools, where in its implementation there are differences in stage achievements between SDN 2 Cibunar and SDN 3 Kersamenak

Abstract

This research aims to examine the development and implementation of interactive learning media and their impact on digital transformation in education. The methodology used is a qualitative approach with case studies in educational institutions that have implemented interactive learning media, using data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The theoretical foundation of this research refers to Vygotsky's constructivism theory and Mayer's cognitive theory, which emphasize the importance of interactivity in improving understanding and information retention. Research findings indicate that interactive learning media contribute positively to increasing student engagement and concept understanding through more dynamic learning experiences. However, successful implementation heavily depends on infrastructure readiness, teacher competency, and technology accessibility. This research highlights the urgency of educator training and the development of adaptive media design according to learner needs. Thus, this study provides significant contributions to developing more effective implementation strategies for interactive learning media to support digital transformation in education.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the importance of student discipline to the effectiveness of learning in MA Plus Sunan Drajat 7 Silat. Discipline is understood as a rule or order that controls behavior as a form of compliance with norms or rules. Discipline is considered the key to success because it can form a consistent attitude in achieving goals and have a positive impact on the learning process. This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of Field Research (field research). Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation. The Data obtained were analyzed descriptively to understand the role of student discipline in supporting learning effectiveness. The results showed that student discipline has an important role in improving the effectiveness of learning. Well-applied discipline can create a conducive learning atmosphere, increase student focus, and encourage optimal achievement of learning goals.

Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) the use of the Indonesian realistic mathematics approach (PMRI) method by mathematics teachers in learning in class IX B (2) student responses to the use of the PMRI method in mathematics learning in class IX B (3) teacher obstacles that come from students in the use of the PMRI method in mathematics learning in class IXB SMP Negeri 3 Numfor Barat. This study uses a qualitative and quantitative descriptive research design. The subjects of this study are teachers and students. The objects in this study are the use of the PMRI method, student responses, and teacher obstacles. The data collection methods used are the observation method and the interview method. The data in this study were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The conclusions of this study are (1) the use of the PMRI method has been effective and in accordance with procedures. (2) student responses are mostly positive. (3) the obstacles found by teachers are in terms of students and very limited school facilities. The suggestion of this study is for mathematics teachers to maintain the effectiveness of learning and motivate students more, and for schools to improve learning facilities .

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of the fee-free education (FFE) policy on the quality of education in secondary schools within Nyamagana District. Specifically, it examines how the surge in student enrollment due to the FFE policy affects educational quality. A convergent parallel design within a mixed-methods approach was employed, combining both quantitative and qualitative methods to leverage the strengths of each and mitigate their respective weaknesses.The sample consisted of 104 respondents: 93 teachers, 5 headteachers, 5 ward educational officers, and 1 district quality assurance officer. Both probability and non-probability sampling techniques were used due to the study population's characteristics. Data were gathered through interviews and questionnaires.The findings revealed that 80% of headteachers were aware of the FFE policy, with all headteachers able to explain it correctly. However, 81% of teachers were aware of the policy. Those with limited understanding attributed this to factors such as lack of involvement in the policy's initiation, confusion from other financial contributions within schools, insufficient funding, and negative attitudes from parents towards the teaching profession.Additionally, the study identified significant changes following FFE implementation, including increased student enrollment and attendance. However, these changes have presented challenges to maintaining educational quality.In conclusion, while the FFE policy has boosted enrollment, it has created challenges for delivering quality education. The study recommends that the government allocate more resources and improve funding mechanisms to support the effective implementation of the FFE policy.

Abstract

Some African cultures, customs and traditions have time immemorial hindered girls from attaining quality education similar to their counterparts. Some cultures go further to regard girls and women as second-class citizens and thus are not given opportunities to go beyond basic primary education. In light of this background, this study was conducted to assess factors affecting girls’ academic performance in public secondary schools in Bukombe District. The major objective of this study was to determine the home-, school- and teacher-based factors that affected girls’ academic performance in Form Four National Examinations in public secondary schools. The study was anchored in human capital theory and human needs theory. The study adopted a convergent parallel design under a mixed method approach. Simple random and purposive sampling techniques were used to obtain a sample size of 209 respondents, which included students, teachers and school board members. Questionnaires were used to collect data from students and teachers, while interview schedules were used to collect data from school board members. The reliability of the research instruments was computed through Cronbach’s alpha coefficient, while the content validity was achieved through peer briefing and expert checking. Descriptive analysis with the help of SPSS version 20 was used to analyse quantitative data, while thematic analysis was used to analyse qualitative data. The major findings of the study showed that girls’ academic performance was affected by excessive domestic activities, parental level of education, family size, teenage sexual relationships, distance from home to school, sanitary facilities, teachers’ attitudes and motivation. The study recommended that the identified factors be addressed through social sensitization of the entire community on the importance of educating and empowering the girl child. The study concluded that if the factors affecting girls’ education negatively are dealt with decisively, then girls’ academic performance will improve, thus empowering with equal chance in society.
