Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of security guarantees and location on interest in transactions with Islamic banks in the people of Aek Batu City. The research method used in this case is quantitative research. The data in this study are primary data in the form of questionnaires that have been distributed to 100 communities. Sample the method used is purposive sampling technique. Hypothesis testing was carried out using SPSS 20.0 for windows by testing the independent variables namely Guaranteed Sense of Security and Location and the dependent variable namely Interest in Transactions.The normality test using the Kolmogrov-Smirnov method obtained a result of 0.699, which means it is greater than 0.05, so it can be concluded that the normality test on the variables Assurance of Security, Location and Interest in Transactions can be said to be normally distributed. The results of the regression analysis in the first model show that the Guaranteed Sense of Security and Location variables have a positive and significant effect on Transaction Interest. The Guaranteed Sense of Security variable has a coefficient value of 0.593 and the Location variable has a coefficient value of 0.084. Based on the calculation results, it can be concluded that tcount is greater than the value of ftable 35.479> 2.69, so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, so there is a significant influence between the Guaranteed Sense of Security and Location variables on Interest in Transactions at Sharia Banks in the Aek Community of Batu City.

Abstract

The increasing demand from gamers for top-notch monitors is fueling rapid growth and intense competition in the monitor industry. According to data released by the International Data Corporation (IDC), Admiral Overseas Corporation AOC has emerged as a global leader in gaming monitor popularity. This achievement can be attributed to AOC's design strategy, which focuses on continuous product development and incorporates feedback from professional gaming enthusiasts. For companies, consumer purchasing decisions play a pivotal role as they contribute to revenue generation and help maintain competitive positions in the market. Several factors influence consumer purchasing decisions, including product quality, brand image, and price. This research aims to examine the characteristics and impact of product quality, brand image, price, and purchase decisions specifically related to the AOC 24G2E Monitor. The research employs a quantitative approach, utilizing descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis as the analytical techniques. Primary data from 100 consumers of the AOC 24G2E Monitor were collected through a questionnaire, employing purposive sampling. The analysis results indicate that product quality, brand image, and price significantly influence the purchase decisions for the AOC 24G2E Monitor, with a coefficient of determination of 89.3%.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of green accounting, environmental performance, and earnings management on sustainable growth, with financial leverage as a control variable. The population of this study consists of companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) until December 31, 2021, with the addition of sample criteria including companies that have received environmental performance assessments from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia. The data collected from the sample covers the period from 2017 to 2021. Data were collected from 91 different companies using purposive sampling technique. This study employed the Generalized Least Square (GLS) method through multiple linear regression with unbalanced panel data. Based on the analysis results, it can be concluded that green accounting has a significant positive effect on sustainable growth, environmental performance does not have an effect on sustainable growth, and earnings management does not have an effect on sustainable growth.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh brand image, brand love dan word of mouth terhadap purchase decision konsumen pada produk ayam goreng Kentucy Fried Chicken (KFC) di Kota Padang. Selain itu penelitian ini juga bertujuan membuktikan peran word of mouth sebagai penguat hubungan antara brand image dan brand love dengan purchase decision konsumen pada produk ayam KFC di Kota Padang. Pada penelitian ini digunakan sebanyak 80 orang konsumen yang memiliki pengalaman membeli dan mengonsumsi ayam goreng KFC di Kota Padang. Proses pengambilan sampel di lakukan secara acak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode survei. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Model (SEM) sedangkan pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji T-statistik. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis ditemukan word of mouth memperkuat hubungan antara brand image dengan purchase decision konsumen pada produk ayam goreng KFC di Kota Padang. Sedangkan dalam pengujian efek tidak langsung juga ditemukan word of mouth memediasi hubungan antara brand love dengan purchase decision konsumen pada produk ayam goreng KFC di Kota Padang.

Abstract

Pembahasan tentang terjadinya tindakan fraud di sektor perusahaan perbankan yang dimana menitikberatkan keterkaitan dengan kompensasi, pengendalian internal, kompetensi pegawai sebagai indikator independen dan variabel budaya organisasi menjadi media interventing. Studi ini mengambil persepsi dari 238 pegawai bank dengan menggunakan metode kuesioner sampel purposive (purposive sampling) dengan jumlah pertanyaan sebanyak 34 pertanyaan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis metode Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan pendekatan Partial Least Square (PLS) yang menggunakan software smartPLS 3. Hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa variabel hasil efek total koefisien menunjukkan bahwa kompensasi, pengendalian internal dan kompetensi memilki pengaruh terhadap budaya organanisasi. Sedangkan dalam pengujian uji jalur dimana budaya organisasi mampu menjadi interventing atau sebagai mediasi terhadap tindakan terjadinya fruad. Dalam hal untuk mencegah tindakan akan terjadinya fraud dalam perusahaan perbankkan perlu adanya pengetatan sebuah peraturan dan kebijakan yang dibuat baik dari pihak internal ataupun eksternal perusahaan. Selain itu perlu diadaknya sosialisasi untuk para karyawan perihal bahaya tindakan fraud.

Abstract

Information technology is growing rapidly not only in the private sector but also by government agencies.The ministry of home affairs regulates a system that is connected and integrated in one system, namely SIPD. By using D&M IS Success Model-based approaches, this paper investigate the success of SIPD. Testing using PLS were applied to data collected by a questionnaire from 93 employees from each OPD in Sawahlunto. In this study, empirically evaluated the model for measuring the success of SIPD of constructs from the updates Delone and Mclean IS Success Model. Four out nine hypothesized relationships between six success variables are significantly supported. The findings of this study can be used to asses the success of SIPD from standpoint of the government employees.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the influence of recruitment, selection, and motivation on employee performance at AKPAR NHI Bandung, a college of hospitality and tourism in Bandung, Indonesia. A sample of 62 respondents, consisting of 20 academic staff and 42 administrative staff, was selected to participate in the study. Data were collected using questionnaires distributed to the respondents. The findings revealed that both recruitment and selection had a significant positive impact on employee performance. Effective recruitment practices, such as attracting and selecting qualified candidates, were found to be crucial in driving employee performance. Similarly, aligning candidates' qualifications with job requirements through a well-designed selection process positively influenced employee performance. However, no significant relationship was found between motivation and employee performance. These results underscore the importance of implementing effective recruitment and selection strategies to enhance employee performance. Organizations should focus on attracting and selecting highly qualified individuals while ensuring a good fit between candidates and job requirements. Efforts should also be made to foster employee motivation through recognition, career development, and a supportive work environment. The study contributes to the understanding of human resource management practices and their impact on employee performance in the hospitality and tourism industry. The findings highlight the need for strategic human resource management approaches that optimize recruitment and selection processes and address employee motivation.

Abstract

The beverage industry market in Indonesia has developed from year to year, which has prompted several manufacturers to be increasingly interested in companies engaged in the beverage industry, one of which is Chatime and Koi The. Chatime and Koi The have opened many branches of their company in several areas, including one in Bandung. The large number of enthusiasts for the bubble tea drink has pushed the Chatime and Koi The companies to compete to make efforts for consumers to continue buying their products. The purchase decision is also influenced by several factors, one of which is the price factor and also the product quality of these beverage products. The main objective of this study was to determine the effect of price and product quality on purchasing decisions for Chatime and Koi the in Bandung. This type of research used is a quantitative method. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with type purposive sampling. A total of 100 questionnaires were collected and analyzed using multiple linear regression using Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) Version 26. The results of the study show that price and product quality partially or simultaneously have a significant effect on Chatime purchasing decisions, while partially product quality has a significant effect on purchasing decisions for Koi The products in Bandung and the price variable has no significant effect. However, the simultaneous price and product quality have a significant effect on purchasing decisions for Koi the in Bandung.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the business model canvas (BMC) at ready mix concrete company PT. XYZ. This study used purposive sampling, the informants in this study were directors and heads of divisions. Data collection was carried out by observation, interviews, Forum Group Discussion (FGD) and literature studies. The research phase begins with the Business Model Canvas and SWOT, problem identification, data collection, data analysis, interpretation of results and conclusions. Through the analysis described above, the result is that PT. XYZ has implemented a Business Model Canvas. Results of the SWOT matrix by writing down opportunities and threats on the vertical side and strengths and weaknesses on the horizontal side. Based on the results of the SWOT matrix, there are 13 alternative strategies that PT XYZ can choose from. After conducting a Swot analysis of the business model canvas, then a new business model canvas is formed for the company's business model. The limitations of this study are limited to only using the Business Model Canvas analysis method and SWOT analysis, it is recommended to use the analytical method using QSPM to get better results. The informants in this study only focused on informants who came from internal company PT. XYZ. Suggested further research by adding informants from external parties PT. XYZ company.

Abstract

The duration of unemployment is the time it takes for workers to search for and find a job that best matches their skills and preferences. This research aims to analyze the duration of unemployment in Sumatra. The analytical technique used in this study is survival analysis using Cox regression. The data used in this research are secondary data sourced from the National Labor Force Survey in August 2020. The total number of observation units used in this study is 5,936 individuals. The research findings show that, on average, the duration of long-term unemployment in Sumatra is 2.95 months. The test results indicate that education, experience, and regional classification variables have a significant effect on the duration of unemployment in Sumatra.
