Abstract

The problem faced in the study is the lack of learning activity levels that affect student learning outcomes. This is due to learning that has not focused on student activity, lack of student participation in expressing opinions, and lack of understanding of the concept of the subject matter. To overcome this problem, Problem Based Learning, Team Assisted Individually, and Talking Stick models were applied. The objectives of this study were to measure teacher activity, increase student activity, develop critical thinking skills, and improve student learning outcomes. This study used a type of classroom action research with 22 students. Data analysis was done by cross tabulation method. The results of the study proved that there was an increase in each meeting from teacher activity which increased with the criteria of "Very Good", student activity obtained the criteria of "All Students are Very Active" with a percentage of 100% and improved critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes individually and classically. This shows that the Problem Based Learning, Team Assisted Individually, and Talking Stick models can improve students' activities, critical thinking skills, and learning outcomes. Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of interest in learning on student achievement in natural and social science subjects in class V of SD N 1 Gemblegan for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research method used is quantitative correlation, which describes the relationship between the variables studied. Data for this research was obtained through questionnaire techniques to measure students' interest in learning, tests to measure learning achievement, and also through documentation. The research results show that there is a significant and positive influence between interest in learning and student achievement in natural and social science subjects in class V of SD N 1 Gemblegan for the 2023/2024 academic year. This is reinforced by the tcount value which reaches 4.138, which is greater than the t table of 2.093. This means that the accepted hypothesis is acceptable, indicating that interest in learning has an influence on student achievement in this subject. In addition, the coefficient of determination (R Square) of 48.8% indicates that the independent variable, namely interest in learning, is able to explain most of the variability in student learning achievement, while friendship (73.6%) can be explained by other variables that are not included. in this research.

Abstract

Education serves as a conduit for students to cultivate their abilities in problem-solving within the context of daily life through the process of learning. Nevertheless, the current conditions in the field do not align with this expectation. Researchers have seen that certain pupils exhibit a deficiency in their capacity to recognise problems, produce ideas, and effectively absorb the information they are presented with. The objective of this study was to enhance students' critical thinking abilities through the implementation of the Group Investigation paradigm. The research was carried out at SDN Kebun Bunga 6 Banjarmasin, including a total of 19 grade V pupils. This study employs a qualitative research approach, specifically utilising the classroom action research method, which involves doing four sessions of data collection. The study's findings demonstrate a consistent improvement in students' critical thinking abilities throughout each meeting. Specifically, during meeting 1, 47% of students were classified as "Quite Skilled," which subsequently increased to 95% by meeting 4, achieving the classification of "Very Skilled." These findings demonstrate that the Group Investigation model has the capacity to enhance students' critical thinking abilities.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how life skills are managed in an effort to develop student learning motivation. Through the observation method, this research concludes that the management of life skills carried out in the context of developing students' learning motivation is an effort to develop the talents possessed by students, the aim is to build students' learning motivation, not only that, the other aim is to hone students' abilities to preparation for the future when the student has graduated from school and immediately wants to work or open a business. Managing life skills requires special attention so that it can support students' academic achievement which requires cooperation between teachers and parents in managing students' life skills. Managing students' life skills in learning activities can help students' academic side which includes cognitive, affective and psychomotor. Life skills management is also a form of positive development for students. The life skills that students themselves are very interested in are sewing, make-up, skills and cooking

Abstract

One of the problems faced by students in this study is their lack of ability to think critically. They also face difficulties in remembering and understanding the subject matter, do not have a strong desire to participate in learning, and are not active during the learning process. Combining the PjBL, PAKEM, and Collaborative learning models is an effort to overcome this problem. The purpose of this study was to analyze how teacher activities, student activities, and student learning outcomes can be improved in quality. Classroom action research was conducted in three meetings with a qualitative approach. Grade 4 students of SDN Alalak Utara 3, totaling 29 students, consisting of 13 male students and 16 female students, were involved in the study during the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. Data were collected by observing teacher and student activities, as well as student learning outcomes. Classical learning completion indicators and percentage scales were used to calculate data analysis. The results showed that project-based learning models, PAKEM, and collaborative learning can be used to improve student learning outcomes. Teachers showed increased activity at the third meeting by obtaining a score of 33 in the "very good" category, and students showed increased activity at the third meeting by obtaining a score of 86% in the "very active" category. At the third meeting, students' summative learning outcomes increased with a classical completion of 90%. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that using the Project-based learning, PAKEM, Collaborative learning models can improve the quality of student activities and learning outcomes. The suggestion for principals, teachers and other researchers is that this study can be used as a reference in using learning models that can improve student activities and learning outcomes.

Abstract

An obstacle in research is the lack of quality writing activities from students, which has a negative impact on achieving their learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects. The reasons behind this are because learning only flows from one direction, the focus in learning Indonesian is on grammar, and there is a lack of use of various models in learning. This research applies the Classroom Action Research (PTK) methodology by holding 4 meeting sessions. The data used is quality data, obtained through observations of teacher activities, student activities, and student writing abilities. These findings show that teachers have good quality in learning activities at the initial stage of meetings I-III, getting the title "very good" at the fourth meeting. Student participation at meetings I-IV has increased significantly until it reaches a very high level of participation at meeting IV, from 25% to 94%. Likewise with evaluation of affective, cognitive and physical skill aspects. Students scored between 25% to 81% in the emotional aspect. Furthermore, in terms of understanding, students achieved a percentage between 25 to 88%. Furthermore, in terms of physical abilities, students get results between 31% and 88%.

Abstract

This research is entitled instilling Students Worship Education at Al-Ittihadiyah Bromo Private Elementary School, Medan. This research aims to determine the implementation of the worship program at SDS Al-Ittihadiyah, which incidentally is a public elementary school. However, with the implementation of this worship program, students are still found who like to speak harshly, hit their friends and fight. Therefore, this research is needed to find out the extent to which the program has a positive impact on student’s morals. This research uses a qualitative research method with a phenomenological approach. The data collection technique is observation, interviews, and document study. The data analysis technique involves reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research reveal that the implementation of the worship program at Al-Ittihadiyah Bromo Medan Private Elementary School has had a positive impact on students. Some of these changes are that students become more disciplined, polite and obedient to teacher orders. As for other changes, students become happier doing worship and student activities can be directed towards positive things and away from negative things. Abstract

The problem in this research is the lack of critical thinking skills and fear of making mistakes in completing assignments. The aim of this research is to describe teacher activities, student activities, critical thinking skills and improving student learning outcomes at IV SDN Kahakan Kalibaru. Researchers used a qualitative approach with the PTK type carried out at SDN Kahakan Kalibaru with research subjects of 27 grade IV students in the 2023/2024 academic year. This type of research includes qualitative data obtained from observing teacher and student activities and critical thinking skills, quantitative data obtained from student learning outcomes through written tests. The data was analyzed using a percentage scale and success indicators determined by the researcher. The research results showed that at the last meeting the teacher's activities had been successful and reached the "very good" criteria. Student activities were also successful and reached the "very active" criteria, critical thinking skills were also successful and reached the "very good" criteria. This also has an impact on successful learning outcomes and achieving classical completion criteria at the last meeting.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low critical thinking skills of students in science content. This is due to the learning process that tends to be monotonous, lack of student curiosity, lack of variety in learning models, learning is not student-centered, and students' critical thinking skills have not been raised. Efforts to overcome this by using Problem Based Learning model. This research used PTK which was carried out in 4 meetings. The purpose of this study was to analyze students' critical thinking skills. Data collection of critical thinking skills was obtained through rubric and observation sheets. The results showed that critical thinking skills at meetings 1 to 4 have increased from 47% to 95% with very skillful criteria. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the use of Problem Based Learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Students critical thinking activities and skills are still relatively low. For this reason, an effort was made to overcome this problem by using the PANTING model which is a combination of the Problem Based Learning, Two Stay Two Stray, and Mind Mapping learning models. This research aims to improve the learning process by increasing activity, critical thinking skills, and student learning outcomes through a PANTING learning model. The research implemented Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out in 4 meetings. The data collected is qualitative data obtained from observing student activities, teacher activities, and critical thinking skills as well as quantitative data obtained from student learning outcomes. The results of this research show that there has been an increase in teacher activity, student activity, critical thinking skills, and learning outcomes at each meeting. Until finally at the fourth meeting all aspects had achieved the specified success criteria. This improvement makes the learning process even better. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, it can be concluded that the PANTING model can increase students' activities, critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes.
