Abstract

This research aims to improve student learning outcomes in the material of appreciating historical heritage through the application of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) type cooperative learning model at MIS Al-Hidayah Namorambe. The NHT learning model is one of the cooperative learning strategies that involves the active participation of students in groups. In this process, each student is assigned a number and takes turns answering questions asked by the teacher. This approach aims to improve student understanding, participation, and learning outcomes.The research method used is classroom action research (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, implementation of actions, observation, and reflection. Data was collected through learning outcome tests and observation of student activities. The results of the study showed a significant increase in student learning outcomes after the implementation of the NHT model. In addition, the application of this model also increases learning motivation and cooperation between students in groups. The conclusion of this study is that the NHT-type cooperative learning model is effective in improving student learning outcomes on the material of appreciating historical heritage. Therefore, this model is recommended to be used as an alternative learning strategy in history subjects in elementary schools.

Abstract

This research will focus on the study of KHR Thought. As'ad Syamsul Arifin on the State System and the System of Government in Islam which is stated in the form of Acceptance of the Single Principle of Pancasila. This study wants to answer First; how does KHR think. As'ad Syamsul Arifin on the State System and the System of Government in Islam. Second; how KHR thinks. As'ad Syamsul Arifin about accepting Pancasila as a Single Principle. Methodology This research uses qualitative research with a conceptual and historical approach. Primary data sources are the book al-ahkam as-Sulthoniyah and the book Biography of KHR. As'ad Syamsul Arifin, MUnas ALim Ulama' Situbondo Document in 1983. The data collection technique in this study is documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique carried out in this study is descriptive-interpretive. The results of this study show that KHR Thinking. As'ad Syamsul Arifin on the State System and the System of Government in Islam which is stated in the form of Acceptance of the Single Principle of Pancasila. KHR's thoughts. As'ad Syamsul Arifin on the State System and the System of Government in Islam was obtained comprehensively and completely from his contact with Hadlrotus Shaykh KH. Hasyim Asy'ari, as well as his real work in defending and contributing to the nation's journey. Standing as a Fighter for the Jihad Resolution, against the Japanese, taking part as a Constituent Member, Fighting against the PKI, and directly involved as a Politician. Meanwhile, KHR's thoughts. As'ad Syamsul Arifin about accepting Pancasila as a Single Principle is the culmination of his thoughts on the State System and the System of Government. According to Kiai As'ad, the first precept of Pancasila is a reflection of the teachings of monotheism in Islam. Not stopping here, Kiai As'ad boldly presented his views and direct criticism to President Soeharto who wanted to make Pancasila a tool to generalize the truth of all religions. This research contributes to strengthening the mapping of the role and contribution of Kiai Pesantren in the concept of the State and the Government system. The research has not reached the aspect of KHR thinking. As'ad Syamsul Arifin which is outlined in works/books/manuscripts.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the implementation of the model for developing Islamic Religious Education learning designs in schools. This study used a development research design by Walter Dick & Lou Carey with 9 steps for developing a learning design: (1) Identifying teaching objectives; (2) Performing instructional analysis; (3) Identify students' initial behavior/characteristics; (4) Formulate performance objectives; (5) Development of benchmark reference tests; (6) Development of teaching strategies; (7) Development or choosing to teach; (8) Design and carry out formative evaluations; And (9) Teaching revision. The results of the study show that the development of learning designs requires the achievement of 21st century competencies such as critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration. Based on these demands, the development of Islamic Religious Education learning must be based on multimedia.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren), as traditional Islamic educational institutions, play a crucial role in shaping the moral character of students (santri). The classical Islamic text Ta’lim al-Muta’allim by Shaykh al-Zarnuji has long served as a fundamental reference for instilling ethical values and proper manners in the pursuit of knowledge. This study aims to examine the da'wah strategies implemented at Pondok Pesantren Al-Muqri Assalafi through the teaching of Ta’lim al-Muta’allim, in an effort to foster students' character development. Employing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving male students and the pesantren's management. The findings indicate that the da'wah strategies consist of four primary stages: planning the delivery of da'wah, providing moral guidance, monitoring student behavior, and conducting regular evaluations through consultative assemblies. Supporting factors identified include the enthusiasm of both teachers and students, the availability of substitute teachers, and environmental support; while inhibiting factors include student absenteeism, external environmental influences, and excessive familiarity between students and teachers. Overall, these strategies have proven effective in shaping morally upright students capable of serving as role models in society.

Abstract

Media sosial merupakan bentuk dari berkembangnya teknologi hal ini tidak dapat dibagi kalangan remaja sebagai pengguna media sosial internet akan dapat mengakses apapun dengan mudah yang ingin mereka ketahui. Hoax menjadi salah satu ancaman bagi karakter pendidikan dikalangan remaja karena jika mereka tidak mampu mengolah informasi dengan baik akan menyebabkan perpecahan dan timbulnya sikap remaja yang tidak mempunyai karakter pendidikan tidak baik. Oleh karena itu agar menghindari sikap negatif remaja harus lebih teliti dalam menerima sebuah informasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh hoax terhadap karakter pendidikan di lingkungan remaja, salah satu caranya adalah dengan menumbuhkan literasi digital. Dengan Literasi digital kalangan remaja akan lebih berhati – hati dalam mencari dan mendapatkan informasi serta menghindari adanya perpecahan dan pendidikan karakter remaja yang tidak baik.

Abstract

This research was conducted because the development of digital media that affects the way of processing information has shifted among gen Z, therefore, this research is to find out how gen Z's information consumption patterns in the era of digital media convergence. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with literature study analysis techniques, by analyzing documents such as books, journals and research results. Thus, this research shows that generation Z has its own way of communicating and receiving information as the highest internet user, especially social media 89%, they use social media as a tool to gather the latest news information without looking for it in online newspapers, as well as personal information needs such as education, social networking and career. Unfortunately, quite a few of them put forward a critical mindset in consuming information by comparing other information variables, so that most of them only judge from the level of information speed and validation of viewers from their online networks, causing gen Z's critical power to tend to be low. Gen Z indirectly creates its social identity through preference patterns in using digital media.

Abstract

Multicultural education is a vital approach to addressing cultural diversity challenges in a globalized world. From an Islamic perspective, it emphasizes not only tolerance and respect for differences but also justice and equality in educational access. This paper explores the concept of multicultural education through Islamic teachings, examining fundamental values found in the Qur'an and Hadith, as well as the thoughts of classical and contemporary Islamic educational figures. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative approach and literature review, the study analyzes the principles of multicultural education within Islam. Findings indicate that multicultural education can serve as a safeguard against radicalism and intolerance while enhancing social cohesion. However, challenges such as religious exclusivism and a lack of educational resources must be addressed. Therefore, a robust conceptual framework is necessary to integrate multicultural values into Islamic education curricula. This research aims to contribute to the development of inclusive educational models that align with the spirit of multiculturalism in Indonesia.

Abstract

 This study aims to examine public relations strategies in managing public opinion on the attitudes and behavior of Generation Z students. The main focus of this research is how the strategy has an impact on the positive image of the school and becomes a supporting factor in the development of the school. This research uses a qualitative approach with a narrative description type. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation, which were then validated using method triangulation. The data were analyzed using the interactive analysis model of Miles and Huberman. The results showed that the public relations strategy was carried out by collaborating with all elements of the school through various excellent programs for all students, both from the students of Pesantren Al-Kaustar and from outside. One of the excellent programs that is the main attraction is the tahfidz Al-Quran program, which is attended by all students and is a differentiator from other schools in the Kraksaan area, Probolinggo. The education offered combines the latest science with Islamic values, so as to produce a superior and moral generation.

Abstract

Seeing the development of the times, increasingly sophisticated information and communication technology has given rise to various bad behaviors that make the Indonesian people, especially young people, lose their spirit of jihad and nationalism, become mentally weak, often toxic, and lazy, one form of preventing this decline is to utilize mass media in the form of movies, because movies are one of the most popular at the moment, so by utilizing movies as a medium of invitation or da'wah, by using example as a method, stubborn young people can be melted, therefore, the problem raised in this research is how to analyze the exemplary message in the Buya Hamka Movie Vol I 2023. To be able to analyze the exemplary message in the movie, the researcher used a qualitative descriptive approach with Roland Barthes' type of research in the form of three meanings in the analysis, namely denotation, connotation and myth. Meanwhile, data collection techniques use observation and documentation techniques. Checking the validity of the research uses in-depth observation and triangulation so that researchers can analyze speech, behavior, signs and movie soundtracks. As for the results of this research, there were seventeen scans containing exemplary messages in the Buya Hamka Movie Vol I. From the results of this research, it was found that messages of faith, sharia and morals were more dominant in the moral messages which recommended increasing the number of good and non-toxic words.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter merupakan fondasi penting dalam membentuk generasi yang berakhlak mulia dan bertanggung jawab. Dalam konteks masyarakat multikultural, integrasi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal menjadi pendekatan strategis untuk menanamkan karakter positif sejak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dapat diintegrasikan ke dalam pembelajaran karakter siswa sekolah dasar di wilayah dengan latar belakang budaya yang beragam. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus di tiga sekolah dasar di wilayah Jawa Tengah. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi pembelajaran, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi nilai-nilai seperti gotong royong, toleransi, sopan santun, dan hormat kepada orang tua yang berasal dari budaya lokal terbukti efektif membentuk sikap dan perilaku siswa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari di sekolah. Nilai-nilai tersebut dimasukkan melalui kegiatan tematik, praktik langsung, serta media pembelajaran berbasis cerita rakyat dan budaya lokal. Selain itu, dukungan dari guru dan orang tua menjadi faktor penting dalam keberhasilan implementasi nilai karakter ini. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan penguatan kurikulum berbasis kearifan lokal serta pelatihan guru dalam pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual agar pendidikan karakter lebih relevan dan bermakna bagi siswa di tengah keberagaman sosial dan budaya.
