Abstract

Language acts as a tool of social integration as well as a tool of social adaptation. Sundanese is one of the regional languages in Indonesia. However, the use of Sundanese must be adjusted to the place and the person speaking. But in reality, there are still many students and lecturers who speak Sundanese when the learning process in the classroom takes place. Practically, this research is expected to build awareness in communicating between people to always use Indonesian in their daily lives so that everyone can understand both when interacting with peers or lecturers. The researcher used a qualitative approach with in-depth interviewing method. Interviews were conducted with open-ended questions addressed to students of the University of Education Indonesia Geography Education Study Program Batch 2023 who came from outside Sundanese areas. The results of this study are that students who come from outside Sundanese areas have difficulty in understanding the material when there are sentence inserts or Sundanese vocabulary in its delivery. This can be overcome by asking friends who understand Sundanese, following the flow of learning so that gradually they will get used to and understand Sundanese. They do this to be able to understand every material delivered by the lecturer when inserting words in Sundanese.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the significant differences in learning outcomes between students who follow the SQ3R learning method and students who follow conventional learning. This type of research is a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. The sampling technique used is a random sampling technique. The research sample was 72 students. The method for collecting data on reading skills uses multiple choice tests. The data obtained were analyzed using parametric statistical techniques, namely the t-test. The results of data analysis show that there are significant differences in reading skills between students who study using the SQ3R learning method and students who study using conventional learning in class IV of SD Negeri 102083 Pabatu. Learning innovation using the SQ3R learning method can be used as an alternative to improve student learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects.

Abstract

This study aims to develop MONOKEBU learning media based on the theme "Beautiful Diversity of My Country" with attractive design, diverse menu display, and clear, accurate, and detailed material. This learning media was then evaluated by two teams of validators consisting of media experts and material experts. The evaluation results showed that MONOKEBU learning media received an average score of 86,6% from media experts and an average score of 95% from material experts, with the criteria "very feasible" to be used and developed. Student response to MONOKEBU learning media is also very positive, with a percentage of 92% stating that the media is very interesting. Students gave feedback that MONOKEBU learning media was able to attract their attention, increase interest in learning, and use simple and easy-to-understand language. In addition, students' pretest and post-test results showed significant differences, with the total post-test score increasing from 1380 to 1760, and the average score increasing from 69 to 88. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the development of MONOKEBU learning media succeeded in creating a product that is feasible and effective to use in the learning process. MONOKEBU learning media is able to attract student interest, increase understanding, and obtain better learning outcomes. Thus, MONOKEBU learning media can be used as an effective solution in improving the quality of learning with an interactive approach.

Abstract

Based on the results of field studies conducted by researchers, the speaking skills of class III students at Laudato Si Elementary School are still less active in terms of poetry, most of them are passive during class, do not want to ask questions, remain silent when the teacher asks to speak, students still stammer, are shy and hesitant. hesitant. By understanding this, it is known that class III students still do not have poetry skills and find it difficult to communicate the information they have obtained. This research aims to find out how role playing models influence the poetry skills of class III students and to find out students' attitudes by applying role playing models to their poetry skills. The method used in this research was a quasi-experimental type of quantitative research conducted on 42 students in class III of Laudato Si Elementary School, consisting of 21 students in class III A and 21 students in class III B. This research uses Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Research results data were obtained from interviews, tests, questionnaires, observation and documentation. The mean posttest score for the control class with conventional learning had a mean of 74.90, while for the experimental class with the role playing model the mean was 80.19 and it was concluded that learning using the role playing model could help students' poetry skills.

Abstract

Language has an important role in human life. Because language acts as a means of communication and has a big role in the establishment of an interaction. Indonesia has one language that is a unifying language, namely Indonesian. Meaning relations can be in the form of opposite meaning (antonym), multiplicity of meaning (polysemy), similarity of meaning (synonym), and abnormality of meaning (homonym). This research was conducted using a qualitative method that is descriptive in nature. Qualitative research is describing, explaining, and elaborating data based on the focus of the problem descriptively.. The concepts of meaning relations discussed include antonyms (opposite meanings), synonyms (similarity of meaning), and polysemy (one word with more than one meaning). Mandailing language has meaning relations that greatly affect the use of each word in certain conditions in society. The results showed that in the greeting system, there are meaning relations in the form of antonyms, synonyms, and polysemy in both Indonesian and Mandailing.

Abstract

PAUD learning to improve children's fine motor skills. Origami was chosen as a method because it can stimulate fine motor skills development through precise hand movements and eye coordination. This research was conducted at KB Nurul Hilmi Bondowoso. The research approach used is qualitative research, with a descriptive research type. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data display, and data verification. Based on the results of this research, exploring origami can improve children's fine motor skills. Before starting learning, KB teacher Nurul Hilmi Bondowoso prepared a daily activity plan related to the activities to be carried out, namely improving children's fine motor skills and preparing observation sheets for students' activities. At the learning stage, KB teacher Nurul Hilmi Bondowoso used the demonstration method in classroom learning activities. At the evaluation and assessment stage of early childhood work, teachers use three categories, namely dexterity, neatness, and following the teacher's instructions.

Abstract

This research explores the role-playing method's effectiveness in improving young children's social-emotional abilities. The role-playing approach was chosen because it can facilitate active and interactive learning, which is believed to strengthen children's social-emotional skills through direct experience in various social scenarios. This research was conducted at RA Ra'iyatul Husnan Bondowoso. The research approach used is qualitative research. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The sources used are secondary data and supporting data in the form of journals related to the discussion. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data display, and data verification. The research results show that early childhood social and emotional abilities can be improved through the role-playing method at RA Ra'iyatul Husnan Bondowoso, which can be done in several stages. The stages are planning, implementation, and evaluation. Planning to improve the social-emotional abilities of early childhood through the role-playing method carried out by RA Ra'iyatul Husnan Bondowoso implemented systematic strategic steps. First, they identified the social-emotional competencies or skills developed in RA Ra'iyatul Husnan Bondowoso's early childhood. For example, the ability to communicate effectively, control oneself and manage emotions, understand and respond to other people's feelings, etc. Second, choose a role or scenario that is suitable for role-playing. After the planning stage had been carried out, teacher RA Ra'iyatul Husnan Bondowoso carried out role-playing activities to improve the social-emotional abilities of young children, which involved concrete steps to achieve goals. During role-playing, teacher RA Ra'iyatul Husnan Bondowoso allows children to interact and explore children's social-emotional responses in a safe and controlled context. The final stage is evaluation. The evaluation methods carried out by RA teacher Ra'iyatul Husnan Bondowoso include Direct Observation, Written Observation, Interviews, and Feedback from RA teacher Ra'iyatul Husnan Bondowoso.

Abstract

Children's language intelligence development is a crucial aspect of their growth, influenced by various factors. Parental communication plays a vital role in the formation and development of children's language abilities. This research aims to explore the role of parental communication in improving children's language intelligence and identify the most effective communication strategies. This research was conducted at RA Ra'iyatul Husnan Wringin Bondowoso. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis used is Miles and Huberman's data analysis. Based on the research that has been conducted, it can be concluded that parental communication increases children's language intelligence in RA Raiyatul Husnan District. Wringin District. Bondowoso is implemented through a series of strategies: Verbal Communication, Using varied Vocabulary, Reading Literacy and Discussion, Language Games and Emotional Support. Abstract

Penguasaan kosa kata dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab sangat penting untuk mendukung kemampuan menulis, membaca, dan berbicara peserta didik. Metode pembelajaran yang tepat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kosa kata, salah satunya adalah metode bernyanyi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas metode bernyanyi dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kosa kata Bahasa Arab di kelas 4 Mdta Banun Banat Cipulus. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari dua pertemuan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode bernyanyi secara signifikan meningkatkan penguasaan kosa kata Bahasa Arab. Pada siklus I, rata-rata penguasaan kosa kata adalah 72,50% dengan kategori baik, sementara pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 84,67% dengan kategori sangat baik. Selain itu, jumlah peserta didik yang mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) meningkat dari 55,56% pada siklus I menjadi 88,89% pada siklus II. Metode bernyanyi menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan dan interaktif, meningkatkan antusiasme dan partisipasi aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, metode bernyanyi efektif dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kosa kata Bahasa Arab dan dapat dijadikan alternatif metode pembelajaran yang menarik dan efektif di lingkungan pendidikan formal dan non-formal.

Abstract

Mathematical, logical intelligence in children is the ability to recognize colours and shapes effectively to improve number management skills and the ability to use logic or common sense. So, mathematical and logical intelligence is one of the intelligences that influence a child's life. Mathematical and logical intelligence has long been favoured and recognized. Many psychometric tests provide extensive space for this intelligence, and it is one of the most vital indicators in assessing students namely It can be said to be intelligent or not intelligent; every PAUD educator stimulates mathematical logic intelligence because the success of this stimulation will have a vast impact on the child's development. After all, almost all life activities cannot be separated from this intelligence. This research uses a case study type of research. Case study research is a direct research method in a natural setting and focuses on events intensively and in detail. Scientific articles are obtained from journals, books, and other similar sources. The location of this research was the Bustanul Ulum Bulugading Play Group, located in the village of Langkap Bangsalsari in Jember. The informants were determined using purpose sampling, namely a sampling technique with specific considerations; in this case, the informant researchers included the school principal, class teachers, guardians and KB Bustanul Ulum Bulugading Bangsalsari Jember students. The data collection technique uses interviews, observation and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis in this study used the Miles and Huberman data analysis technique. The research results conclude that increasing early childhood mathematical, logical intelligence through pipe puzzle media has been proven influential in introducing mathematical concepts in a concrete and fun way to young children. It can also introduce geometric concepts, develop logical thinking, encourage mathematical reasoning, and stimulate abstract thinking in early childhood. The pipe puzzle medium can also create a pleasant atmosphere and attract children's interest in learning. Therefore, using pipe puzzle media is very helpful for educators at KB Bustanul Ulum Bangsalsari Jember to use as a learning medium.
