Abstract

Educational transformation is a fundamental change in the approach, methods, and goals of education to address the demands of the modern era. The concept of a "kurikulum merdeka" (free curriculum) becomes a central pillar in this endeavor. A free curriculum emphasizes active student engagement, granting them autonomy in planning, directing, and evaluating their learning. The interdisciplinary approach in educational transformation necessitates the integration of elements from various disciplines to provide a holistic and contextual understanding. This prepares students to confront real-world issues with diverse perspectives and innovative solutions. The significance of 21st-century skills in a free curriculum and educational transformation assists students in developing competencies relevant to the evolving demands of the workforce. Creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, digital literacy, and self-directed learning take precedence. Through educational transformation and a free curriculum, students become active participants in the learning process. They play a role in determining interests, planning learning activities, and assessing progress. Teachers assume roles as guides and facilitators, assisting students in developing independent and critical skills. This approach not only readies students to face the complexities of the job market but also teaches them to think across disciplines, innovate, collaborate, and address real-world challenges. Educational transformation and a free curriculum play a role in creating an inclusive, relevant, and responsive learning environment for the needs of future generations.

Abstract

In the context of an ever-evolving social and cultural landscape, the education of children becomes a primary concern in shaping character and fostering the faith of the younger generation. This research aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of the Bible's perspective on the role of parents in the education of their children. Through this study, the researcher will explore and examine various relevant Bible texts, such as verses detailing parental responsibilities, pedagogical principles, and moral guidance found in the Bible. The research methodology to be employed includes critical and theological analysis of Bible texts, as well as an exploration of the meaning and historical context of verses relevant to the practice of parental education. The results of this research are expected to provide a better understanding of the role and responsibilities of parents in shaping the character, morals, and spirituality of their children in accordance with Biblical principles. Furthermore, this research may offer practical guidance to parents, churches, and Christian communities in strengthening family relationships and supporting faith-based education. In conclusion, this research will deepen our understanding of parental education from a Biblical perspective, which can influence family education practices in the future.

Abstract

Christian Religious Education plays a crucial role in shaping the character of individuals and society. Amidst diverse religious interpretations, instilling values of religious moderation becomes essential in the context of Christian Religious Education. This abstract outlines efforts to integrate the values of religious moderation into Christian Religious Education as a means to promote a balanced and tolerant understanding of differing beliefs. The research elaborates on the concept of religious moderation within the framework of Christianity and explores various methods that can be employed in teaching Christian Religious Education to promote values of religious moderation. Educational approaches such as case-based teaching, interfaith dialogues, and the introduction of inclusive theological thinking serve as effective means to cultivate a moderate understanding of Christianity. Implementing these methods will aid students in developing critical thinking skills, respecting differences, and understanding the complexity of religious pluralism. Furthermore, the teaching of values of religious moderation also requires the involvement of the church community. The church, as a social institution, can play a role in organizing activities that support a moderate understanding of Christianity, such as seminars, workshops, and interfaith gatherings. Through collaboration between schools and the church community, the cultivation of values of religious moderation can become an integral part of Christian Religious Education. The results of this research indicate that instilling values of religious moderation in Christian Religious Education is not only relevant for fostering a more balanced religious understanding but also for promoting peace, tolerance, and interfaith cooperation in an increasingly pluralistic society. Thus, the integration of values of religious moderation into Christian Religious Education emerges as a vital step in preparing the younger generation to act as positive agents of change in building a more harmonious and inclusive society.

Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the levels of professionalism and creativity among Christian Religious Education teachers in facing the disruptions that arise in the Society 5.0 era. The Society 5.0 era is characterized by rapid technological advancements that reshape social, economic, and educational paradigms. Disruption, in this context, refers to profound changes in how students learn and interact with information, as well as shifts in values and societal demands regarding Christian Religious Education. This research will employ qualitative research methods, using data collection techniques such as document analysis of curriculum materials, teaching content, and strategies employed by the teachers. Additionally, observations and experiences related to the disruptions in the current era will be analyzed. The outcomes of this research are expected to provide a deeper understanding of how the professionalism and creativity of Christian Religious Education teachers can help address the challenges posed by disruptions in the Society 5.0 era. Furthermore, this research is anticipated to offer recommendations for the development of curricula and teacher training programs that are more adaptive to the constantly evolving educational environment. Consequently, the results of this study are expected to make a positive contribution to enhancing the quality of Christian Religious Education in the Society 5.0 era.

Abstract

This article is an exploration on the implementation of limit function mathematics learning and aims to describe learning limit functions with SOLO Taxonomy to improve student’s conceptual understanding. The writing of this article is based on direct observation and interviews of several students. Based on the results of observations made in the environment, there are still many students who find it difficult to solve questions related to the limit function material. This is because the level of understanding or ability each students has towards a different subject matter. The characteristics and understanding of different students in limit function leraning make the writer want to make an innovation in learning with SOLO Taxonomy. Learning limit function material based on SOLO Taxonomy begins by providing a test on the limit function material to determine student level based on SOLO Taxonomy, namely pre-structural, unistructural, multistructual, relational, and extended abstract levels. After determiniting the level of each student and studying it, in learning the content of the limit function material is explained. A questions and answer session was held which then the teacher divided the students into groups. The division of this group is based on different LKPDs according to their level.

Abstract

This article discusses the concept of punishment and reward in an Islamic perspective and its relevance to today's living conditions. This study aims to review the related literature to understand the implementation of punishment and reward in education and its impact on students' moral behavior in the modern era. This type of research is included in library research which examines theoretically and in-depth a discussion so that conclusions will be obtained. The method used in this writing is a literature review, which is a collection of books or other sources related to punishment and reward in an Islamic perspective: Its Relevance to Education and Morality in the Modern Era. In this writing, various literacy sources are also used, namely journal articles and other reading materials. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display and conclusion drawn. The results of this research can be concluded that punishment and reward in the perspective of the Qur'an are part of the divine justice system that aims to uphold truth and balance. In the Qur'an, it is explained that punishment is given as a reward for wrongdoing or violating Allah's commands. This punishment can be in the form of this world, such as the punishment handed down to the previous ummah or in the hereafter, which includes torture in hell. On the other hand, the Qur'an also promises rewards for those who believe and do righteous deeds. Rewards can be in the form of favors in this world or in the hereafter, with the culmination being a paradise full of pleasure. Thus, there is relevance to Education and Morality in the Modern Era It is known that the application of these concepts can help create a conducive learning environment and support character building.

Abstract

The role of the Christian Religious Education teacher has an important role in helping the spiritual growth of students in the educational sphere. The role of the Christian Religion teacher is basically very much needed and has a large correlation to the behavior of students. The role of religious teachers is very important in the life of mankind, especially Christians. Religious education, more specifically Christian religious education is very important to be applied in increasing spiritual potential, thereby helping students to become human beings who believe and obey God. Based on the results of this study, teachers need to pay attention to every day behavior of their students and always be wise and act especially in terms of the role of the Christian Religion teacher.

Abstract

The arrival of the Dutch as colonialists to the Indonesian archipelago brought many changes to all existing systems, especially for Muslim communities that once existed in strong Muslim kingdoms. When the archipelago was controlled by colonial invaders, many of the policies implemented both from a political, social and economic perspective were quite different from before. At that time, these policies had an impact on the educational policies that were later regulated by the Netherlands, including the teachers, the material delivered, the facilities and infrastructure that supported the learning process and so on. Even policies on the establishment of religious schools are regulated, all of which are expected not to interfere with the rules set by the Netherlands. So, analyzing the policies issued by the Dutch government during their colonization in Indonesia, it turns out that many of them were detrimental to the Islamic ummah. For example, many graduates from religious schools were not accepted, then religious teachers were marginalized and even their materials had to get permission from the Dutch government, every learning process was always monitored because there was fear of rebellion. This makes Islamic education less flexible and difficult to develop. However, efforts to continue to fight for and maintain Islamic education are continuously realized by establishing several educational institutions such as Islamic boarding schools and madrasas. The materials at the Madrasah were doubled with religious and general learning, so that students could be accepted among the Dutch government at that time.

Abstract

This research aims to delve into and understand the experiences of junior high school students in their efforts to overcome academic procrastination behavior through counseling guidance services. Academic procrastination has been identified as an issue that affects academic performance and emotional well-being of students. In this context, counseling guidance services are considered a potential source of support and strategies for students. Data is collected and analyzed using a thematic analysis approach to identify thematic patterns in participant narratives. The results of this research provide deep insights into how students experience and confront the challenges of academic procrastination. These findings also depict effective strategies and approaches in addressing academic procrastination through counseling guidance services. This research holds significant implications for the development of more focused and responsive counseling guidance programs tailored to students' needs in managing their time and academic tasks. By understanding the students' perspectives, schools can devise more effective interventions to help students develop time management skills and overcome procrastination tendencies.

Abstract

This research was motivated by Islamic religious education learning in ablution material in class IV at SDN 1 Kapar, with the hope that students could achieve their learning goals as well as possible. However, in reality, various things can hinder the achievement of these learning goals. There are several students who have not been able to achieve the learning objectives in the ablution material because they have difficulty learning in learning activities, even though the ablution material has been taught in class II, at that time the teacher used the lecture method in learning, besides that the learning was also carried out online via WA (WhatsApp). So the aim of the research is to determine the process and supporting and inhibiting factors for learning the demonstration method in ablution material in class IV at SDN 1 Kapar, Murung Pudak District, Tabalong Regency. Researchers use field research with a qualitative descriptive approach, while data collection techniques are carried out starting from observation, interviews, documentation and data analysis, as well as data analysis techniques starting from data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. Thus, the results of the research state that the demonstration method learning process on ablution material at SDN 1 Kapar has been carried out according to the planned learning procedures and students' understanding has increased, from previously not understanding the correct way to perform ablution. Meanwhile, the supporting and inhibiting factors come from students, teachers, time allocation, and tools and facilities.
