Abstract

This study examined of Commercial Customer Satisfaction Level In PT Perussahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk, SBU Distribusi Wilayah III Sumatera Bagian Utara. . The study used descriptive statistical analysis using cartesian diagram which divided into four parts bounded by two lines that intersect perpendicularly at points X and Y. This diagram is also called the importance-performance matrix is used to describe the priority dimension of service quality. or service attributes that need to be improved and serve as a guide for formulating improvement strategies based on decrease in the number of customers in the commercial customer segment from 579 customers in 2012 to 540 customers in 2017, while customers in other segments, namely industry and households increased. The population in this study is all commercial customers in the State Gas Company (Persero) Tbk SBU Distribusi Region III in Medan City as many as 540 commercial customers during the period of 2018. Sampling technique in this study by using probability sampling method with simple random sampling technique. From the results of the research and discussion described in the previous chapter, it is concluded that based on the Descriptive Analysis and Cartesian Diagram Analysis that the influence of service quality consists of: tangible (direct evidence), reliability (reliability), responsiveness (responsiveness), assurance (guarantee). ), and empathy for the level of satisfaction of commercial customers at PT. Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) SBU Distribusi Wilayah III Sumatera Bagian Utara is categorized as sufficient. From the five dimensions of service quality, the most dominant variable inservice improvement is the tangible variable (direct evidence).

Abstract

Good employee performance is one of the criteria in the company where one has good behavior and can complete the work given to him. But there are some difficulties in knowing the quality of people who have good potential as employees in a company. Therefore, a method or method is needed to identify prospective employees of a company. The C4.5 algorithm can be used to predict and classify prospective employees who have the potential to enter the company by making a decision tree based on existing data and predicting new prospective employees who want to enter the company.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the low learning achievement of high school students in economics subject. The purpose of this study was to determine: (1) The Effect of Critical Thinking Ability on High School Students' Learning Achievement in Economics Subjects, (2) The Effect of Internet Use on High School Students' Learning Achievement in Economics Subjects, (3) The Effect of Critical Thinking Ability and Internet Use on High School Student Achievement in Economics. This research uses quantitative methods with data collection techniques using questionnaires and observations. Then test for normality, linearity, and multicollinearity. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression and to test the research hypothesis using the t-test and F-test. The results of multiple linear regression analysis obtained the equation Y = 36.544 + 0.306X1 + 0.310X2, the t-test on the Critical Thinking Ability variable (X1) obtained tcount> t table (5.637 > 1.661), and the Internet Usage variable (X2) obtained tcount> ttable ( 5,668 > 1,661). While the F-test resulted in the value of Fcount>Ftable (42.811> 3.09). Furthermore, from the coefficient of determination (R2) obtained R square of 0.479 which means Critical Thinking Ability, and the use of the Internet contributed 47.9% to the Learning Achievement of High School Students in Economics Subjects. Based on the results of the study, it was also found that the variable of internet use (X2) is the variable that most influences the learning achievement of high school students in Economics subject, this is indicated by the t-count and coefficient values that are greater than the critical thinking ability variable (X1).

Abstract

Nuclear energy is an alternative energy that has advantages in the amount of energy it produces, the fuel it uses, and does not produce air pollution. Thorium is one of the fertile nuclear fuels which is abundant, which is four times more than the amount of uranium. Calculation of criticality of fast reactor design using thorium nitride (ThN) fuel using a set of SRAC programs that produce critical conditions for the enrichment of uranium-233 by 5% with excess reactivity value of 0.044% in volume fraction of 65% fuel, 10% cladding and 25% coolant. Thorium fuel can be used as nuclear fuel for nuclear power plants with a burnup time of 50 years.

The background of this research is the interest of researchers to find out whether there is an effect of product quality on customer satisfaction at KFC fast-food restaurants. The purpose of this study was to see if there was an effect of product quality at KFC on customer satisfaction. The research method used by the researcher is an associative quantitative research method that aims to measure the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. To support the research, data were taken from product quality and customer satisfaction questionnaires. The population in this study was 30 customers of KFC Titi Kuning. The research data were analyzed using a simple linear regression model which resulted in the regression equation: Y = 21,915 + 0,534X. This study concludes that there is a significant effect between product quality on customer satisfaction at the KFC branch Titi Kuning of the Medan fast food restaurant, which means that the better the quality provided, the higher the level of customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Phenomenon poverty that occurs in the provinces receiving special autonomy funds (Papua, West Papua, and Aceh), where these three provinces are provinces with very high poverty rates. With the implementation of the special autonomy policy and the granting of additional special autonomy funds, these three provinces have not been able to free themselves from the poverty that plagues them. The main purpose of this study is to estimate and prove how the variables of TKD, DOK, and DD affect the Poverty Level. The data used in this study is panel data, where the data collected is cross section data, namely the three provinces that receive special autonomy funds in Indonesia (Papua, West Papua, and Aceh) while the time series data used in this study are collected as many as 4 years, starting from 2017 to 2020. Based on the estimation results using the multiple regression method using E-Views 10 software, goodness of fit (R2) was measured in the first model, a value of 0.5011811 or 50.18% was obtained. Partially, the independent variable is TKD has a negative and insignificant effect and DD has a negative and significant effect on the Poverty Level, while DOK has a positive and significant effect.

Abstract

Technological developments and advances in the digital era are currently growing rapidly along with the times, so that they have an impact in all sectors including the manufacturing industry sector. Competition in the manufacturing industry is getting higher, both in the field of supporting equipment technology and in the production sector. This makes all interested parties and companies compete to create more technical and practical equipment. The manufacture of equipment, parts, components and manufactured products in the past still used conventional machines such as lathes, milling machines, scrap machines and other machines in general and are still used today for certain jobs. The manufacture of parts such as shafts, factory components, heavy equipment components, car components, aircraft components and other engineering equipment components still uses conventional machines in a small part of the manufacture of parts and components. In jobs that require high production rates, short production times and high and uniform quality, using conventional machines is not recommended. Machines with CNC technology with computer-assisted numerical control or the like have been the solution for decades. In this paper, we will discuss the effectiveness of CNC machines, especially the TU-3A EMCO CNC milling as an illustration by developing G, M code programming, and product examples.
