Abstract

The Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia has implemented Kurikulum Merdeka policy to improve the quality of education. This policy contains assessment points covering literacy and numeracy. One of the instruments used in this policy is Asesmen Kompetensi Minimum (AKM), a tool for teachers to analyze student learning outcomes. To help teachers improve student literacy, a team of Kampus Mengajar Program batch 5 at SDN 3 Kerticala carried out community service that focused on helping the learning process of class V students at SDN 3 Kerticala. In this community service, 12 students of SDN 3 Kerticala took part in a learning assistance program run by a team of students from the Kampus Mengajar program. Implementing community service activities is filled with activities that can increase student literacy and play an essential role in assisting teachers in measuring and assessing student achievement at AKM. Data from the trial results after the implementation of learning assistance shows that the percentage of students who achieve competency has increased compared to the results obtained before the assistance. During the implementation of the assistance program, it was found that students needed to achieve specific competencies optimally. These findings can encourage teachers to optimize teaching and learning strategies that align with students' needs and learning styles.

Abstract

Coconut farming in Pananjung Village, Pangandaran, faces economic challenges due to the low market value of coconuts. To address this, the article proposes a training initiative for Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) production, targeting PKK members. VCO, extracted at temperatures below 60°C, retains nutritional value and offers economic advantages. The training aims to empower women in the community to produce high-quality VCO efficiently. Through a descriptive research approach, the article discusses the economic potential of VCO, emphasizing its health benefits and market demand. The proposed training not only enhances VCO production skills but also contributes to the overall economic development of Pananjung Village by optimizing local resources. The successful implementation of the training is evident in the increased skills of the participants, the economic upliftment of coconut farmers, and the utilization of VCO as a valuable product. In conclusion, the training proves instrumental in improving the economic viability of coconut farming in Pananjung Village and contributes to the overall well-being and sustainability of the community.

Abstract

To build village development, parties who can synergise for the programs that will be held in a village, such as the village head, village officials, and the village community are needed. Sukahurip Village is a village located in Pangandaran Regency, which is currently carrying out sustainable development. In the process, the development was assisted by the village head, who was the leader in its management. The village head often involves the community in decision-making. The role of the leader here is important in fulfilling all of these services, starting from the planning and implementation processes. The leader must apply the right leadership style to encourage or move the community to achieve the vision and mission of the village as an advanced village. Therefore, descriptive research is needed regarding the leadership style applied by the Sukahurip Village Head, the results of which can be used for the next Village Head to optimize the potential of his village to carry out sustainable development. This study uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques using interviews and observations. The research data collection method was carried out through interviews, holding a meeting of two people to exchange information and ideas through question and answer so that meaning can be constructed in a particular topic, and observation, which is data collection by observing the subject or phenomenon under study without direct intervention.
