Abstract

Community empowerment is an effort to increase the dignity of the community so that they are able to escape the shackles of poverty. According to the theory of community empowerment put forward by Jim Ife, empowerment can be said to have run optimally when the four perspectives, namely the pluralist perspective, elitist perspective, structuralist perspective, and post-structuralist perspective, are applied simultaneously. The purpose of this study was to determine the application of the four perspectives proposed by Jim Ife in the theory of community empowerment at PKBM Bintang Flobamora. This research method uses qualitative methods with a case study approach. The research location is PKBM Bintang Flobamora, Kupang City. The subjects in this study were the heads and staff of PKBM Bintang Flobamora, instructors and learning residents of PKBM Bintang Flobamora. Collecting data using interview techniques, observation, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques in the form of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The triangulation used to explain the validity of the data is source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of the study show that PKBM Bintang Flobamora has implemented the four empowerment perspectives. From a pluralist perspective, services such as computer course training have been provided, then from an elitist perspective, PKBM Bintang Flobamora has collaborated with various parties such as the education office, religious institutions, and also government agencies. Then, from a structuralist perspective, PKBM Bintang Flobamora has generalized all services for every learning citizen. And the post-structuralist perspective of PKBM Bintang Flobamora does not only focus on computer course training, but also provides other guidance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the four perspectives that have been put forward by Jim Ife in the theory of community empowerment at the Karya Wanita Social Institution, Naibonat. This research method uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The subjects in this study were heads and staff of social institutions, assisted residents of social institutions, former assisted members, instructors, and parties from other institutions that work with social institutions. The research findings show that the four perspectives that have been put forward by Jim Ife, have been running in social institutions, as in the pluralist perspective, services have been provided such as sewing training and also social, physical, mental, and management guidance, then in the elitist perspective of the orphanage social services have collaborated with various parties such as social services, religious institutions, and also health agencies, then from a structuralist perspective the social institution has generalized all services for every inmate, and finally the post-structuralist perspective of the orphanage does not only focus on sewing training, but also provides other guidance.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The problem raised in this study is how is the public's perception of Non Formal Education in Oematnunu Village, Dusun 03 RT 005 RW 006, West Kupang District. The purpose of this study was to determine the public's perception of Non-Formal Education in Oematnunu Village, Dusun 03 RT 005 RW 006, West Kupang District. The type of research used is qualitative research using a phenomonology strategy used to interpret the experience of an informant in giving his perceptions about Non Formal Education. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, documentation, and interviews. In this study, the research informants were the people of Oematnunu Village who had participated in Non-Formal Education programs. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the public's perception of Non Formal Education is quite good. The community's perception above shows that the majority say Non-Formal Education is a package school where schools are for people who are illiterate and drop out of education. There are also those who say that extracurricular education is special education, extracurricular activities, etc. The community can give their perceptions about Outdoor Education because there are influencing factors such as experience, needs and external stimuli.

Abstract

Abundant natural resources cannot be utilized properly for the needs of the surrounding community, so learning efforts are needed to manage the potential of natural resources owned through empowering the community. The purpose of this research is to find out how Jim Ife's theory of community empowerment is applied to community empowerment programs through farmer groups. This study used a qualitative case study approach with the research subject being the head of the Farmers' Group, members of the Farmers' Group and Agricultural Extension Officers of the Farmer's Group. Data collection was carried out by interview and observation techniques. The results showed that the process of community empowerment through the Farmer Group program can be said to be quite good in terms of applying the community empowerment perspective according to Jim Ife, in the Tnao Mat farmer group there is a community empowerment program, namely meetings between field agricultural extension workers and members of farmer groups, where there is counseling, socialization and training on agriculture that helps farming communities manage their natural resources. The end result of the empowerment program is that members of farmer groups are able to independently improve their quality of life and no longer depend on community empowerment program activities being held, especially helping them find solutions/problem solving to the social problems they face.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan peserta didik, penggunaan model pembelajaran konvensional yang tidak terlalu membangkitkan kekaktifan peserta didik dikarena kan model pembelajaran ini lebih berpusat pada tutor proses pembelajaran berjalan membosankan dan peserta didik menjadi pasif. Sala satu model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan keaktifan peserta didik yaitu pembelajaran berbasis masalah dikarenakan model pembelajaran ini lebih berpusat pada peserta didik, peserta didik dapat menjadi pembelajaran yang mandiri pada pembelajaran IPS materi sejarah indonesia pada peserta didik program paket C SPNF kecamatan wolatang Kabupaten Alor. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif pre-eksperimental dengan desain one-grup pre test-post test. Variabel terikat dalam penelitian ini adalah keaktifan peserta didik dan variabel bebasnya pembelajaran berbasis masalah. Subjek dalam penelitian ini 50 peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen dan 50 pada kelas kontrol. Teknik yang digunakan peneliti dalam pengumpulan data ini adalah angket dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dengan bantuan Microsoft excel. Hasil penelitian ini menujukan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis masalah berpengaruh terhadap keaktifan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran ilmu pengetahuan sosial. Hal tersebut dapa dilihat dari adanya pengikatan. Berdasarkan hasil Microsof Excel hasil pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon mendapatkan hasil Whitung = 118,5 sedangkan Wtabel = 434. Dengan Diketahui W hitung= 118,5 < Wkritis= 434, yang berarti Ha diterima dan HO ditolak. Berdasarkan hasil peneitian disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dapat menigkataan keaktifan peserta didik di SPNF Kabupaten Alor pada mata pelajaran IPS.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of the research was to find out whether there was a significant effect of the method of playing with recycled materials on the numeracy skills of children in group B (aged 5-6 years) at Insan Selamat Kindergarten. This research uses a quantitative approach using an experimental method with a pre-experimental research design. One-group pre-test post-test type design. The total sample was 26 children in group B of Kindergarten Insan Selamat. The data collection technique in this research is through participant observation and documentation in the form of photos of activities and daily learning implementation plans. Shows the amount of data processing using Wilcoxon signed level test data analysis. The results of data analysis obtained a value of Tcount <Ttable (0 < 25) and Ha was accepted. Shows that there was an increase from 27.5% during the pretest to 43.49% during the posttest. Based on the data analysis, there was a significant influence between playing methods with recycled materials on children's numeracy skills. Abstract

This research aims to improve the ability to recognize number symbols using a touch board in children aged 3 - 4 years at PAUD INSAN PRESTASI SCHOOL, Denpasar. This research is motivated by the low ability to recognize number symbols in children aged 3 - 4 years and learning activities to recognize number symbols only using LKA. This research is Classroom Action Research carried out in collaboration with teachers using the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model with stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research was carried out in October 2016. The research subjects were play group children (aged 3 - 4 years) consisting of 20 children consisting of 9 boys and 11 girls. The object of the research is the ability to recognize number symbols using a touch board. The data collection methods in this research are observation and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques use descriptive and quantitative. The average percentage of ability to recognize number symbols in pre-action was 58.82%, increased by 15.25% in cycle I to 74.075 and increased again by 18.09% in cycle II to 92.16%. This increase occurred because the learning steps using the touch board media were counting the number of objects, introducing number symbols with the touch board, showing number symbols on the touch board, touching the number symbols on the touch board, and pairing number symbols with objects. Abstract

Education is something special in the eyes of society where education is one of the keys to developing human resources. Many views regarding education became the basis for developing this research. This research focuses on a quantitative approach using survey methods. This research was carried out using a questionnaire with 28 statements (16 questions focused on perceptions of PLS and 12 on interest in continuing education to higher education. Based on these results it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between public perceptions about education and interest in continuing education at state universities.

Abstract

This research is included in qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The subjects of this study were one trainer and four members of The Counter Melody (DCM) choir which became the source of research data, which was carried out through interview techniques, and documentation studies. This data collection is carried out with stages, namely assessing data quality, data analysis, interpreting data and making conclusions on its findings. From the results of research conducted by researchers related to social skills, there is a positive change from each member of The Counter Melody choir in obeying the rules, accepting the consequences of every decision taken so that each participant can build good communication in achieving harmony and cooperation in the choir group.The conclusion of this study is that through the development of social skills, a person can establish communication relationships and establish good cooperation, and from the results of this study it can be seen that there are positive changes from each choir member so as to create harmony and cooperation in the counter melody choir group. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to increase the activity of students, and the use of conventional This study aims to determine the life of WH who lives the status of a widow in the family, this role has been carried out since 2019. Activities carried out by WH daily are gardening and doing side jobs, namely making various kinds of snacks from bananas, sweet potatoes, and cassava. This study uses psychological well-being and public pedagogy theories to examine WH life in Oni Village. This type of research is qualitative research using the Life history approach method. They are used to help researchers understand the deeper meaning of WH Life in Oni Village before widowhood until now a widow who has three children, who acts as the head of the family, and Mother Tumah Tangga. Data collection techniques use observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques begin by examining all data collected from informants. The results of the study can be concluded that the life of WH in Oni Village as a widow is not only focused on work to earn a living and take care of children, but, WH was also chosen to be one of the members of the PKK in the field of government and the field of spirituality WH was chosen to be the head of the mothers. Amid WH's busy life of earning a living and taking care of children, WH also takes time to carry out tasks in the fields of government and spirituality.
