Abstract

The Seroja cyclone disaster that occurred in East Adonara, East Flores, left deep wounds for the community, the families of the victims who died, lost property, and lost their homes and relatives. This certainly causes severe psychological disturbances for family members, especially for children who have survived the disaster. The results of the assessment of the condition of the children in the Nelelamadiken Village area, East Adonara are very concerning. These child survivors seem to have received less serious attention from their parents and the local government. It should be noted that the banjirbandang disaster is not the main factor causing trauma and psychological injuries to children in the area, but it is only a reinforcing factor for the deepening of the wounds felt by children who survived the disaster. For this reason, there is a need for psychosocial support in overcoming the psychological vulnerability of the survivors. Psychosocial support is a process to facilitate the development of well-being in a person by using the resources that exist within himself and also the resources that exist in his community or social environment. This psychosocial support aims to minimize the physical, psychological and social impacts caused by disasters or crisis situations. Psychosocial support is carried out for 14 days, namely three days of conducting an assessment and ten days of carrying out psychosocial support programs according to the needs of children who have survived the disaster. The psychosocial support program for 14 days showed a significant change in the behavior of the children who survived the disaster.

Abstract

Patients with COVID-19 disease who have comorbidities are strongly correlated with increased disease severity and significantly increased risk of death. Diabetes Mellitus is one of important risk factor and contributes to the severity and mortality of patients with COVID-19. Patients with chronic wounds have delayed treatment during the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, management of patients with chronic wounds should be improved during this pandemic. Home based wound care and education program for the family caregiver is proposed to solve the problem. Eight participants were completed this program. Evaluation of wound for each patient were conducted (at the first meeting and four- or five-months follow-up) using the diabetic foot ulcer assessment scale (DFUAS). In general, the wound depth, wound size, infection, granulation, necrotic being better compared in the first assessment. Home-based care, and education for patients and family caregiver program have benefit for diabetic wound care management during Covid-19 pandemic in this area (Yogyakarta, Indonesia). Abstract

In the Minggir Village, there is a Biogas School called Mitra Sarana Energi which is a biogas school UKM located in Minggir Village, Sendangagung Village, Minggir District, Sleman Regency, Special Region of Yogyakarta. The biogas school UKM has been conducting training activities on the manufacture and use of the biogas since 2012. Actually, the UKM has a large enough market opportunity to manage and sell the biogas. However, this opportunity brings consequences and problems, namely the lack of a touch of innovation from the biodigeser remote monitoring system. The implementation team tried to offer solutions to these problems with a touch of science and technology, namely through designing remote monitoring of gas levels and pressures with IoT technology. This monitoring tool system aims to monitor (monitoring) the process of making biogas production from organic waste by detecting gas levels produced from the biodigester, namely methane gas (CH4), carbon dioxide gas (CO2), hydrogen gas (H2), and gas pressure. The system is designed with an ESP32 controller board and MQ4, MQ8, MQ135 gas sensors and MPX10DP gas pressure sensors combined with the Internet of Things (IoT) feature which is then connected to the Blynk app on the cellphone, so that it can be monitored from anywhere and anywhere with the help of a connection. stable internet. The test results obtained that this tool is capable of measuring and monitoring data on monitoring levels of methane gas, CO2 gas, hydrogen gas and gas pressure.
