Abstract

The need to research and evaluate the characteristics of educational systems in various states arises from the contemporary internationalization of education processes. The prominence of Chinese education, as well as our strong relationship and collaborative efforts with the PRC, led us to examine the distinctive characteristics of the Chinese educational framework. Traditional cultural and spiritual norms also define the Chinese educational system and the world's most popular educational trends. Because China is experiencing tremendous economic expansion, the country need highly skilled specialists, which means high-quality and inexpensive education. This calls for reforming the current educational system. The value and status of education are growing across all demographic groups. Educational institutions carry out a wide range of educational tasks in addition to teaching youngsters. Since embracing the Soviet pedagogy system in general, the People's Republic of China (PRC) has undergone various phases of educational reform since 1978. These have included restoring the school system, elevating the status of teachers, and enhancing the standard and accessibility of education for the general public. We have examined the current Chinese educational system in this article, which consists of preschool, school, and higher education.

Abstract

In summary, the purpose of this study is to ascertain how Paiton 1 state high school manages the marketing of its religious culture-based education services. This study used a qualitative approach.field technique. Utilizing snowball and purposive selection procedures, the samples were selected. Interviews, observations, and documentation procedures were used to gather the data. In this research. Using an inductive methodology and descriptive-qualitative data analysis, the researcher study the information. The findings of this study showed that: (1) Paiton 1 state high school carries out marketing management based on religious culture to meet the needs of education customers who will create a generation of Muslims with strong and noble characters, who master the principles, have a scientific foundation, who contribute to the welfare of the world, and who are devoted to Allah SWT. (2) Through the inclusion of monotheism, the Shari'ah, and morality in the curriculum, vision, mission, school purpose, school programs, and the learning process, schools establish religious culture. (3) Paiton 1 state high school is supported in marketing education services by the following factors: a. The independent curriculum application; b. qualified human resources; c. comprehensive educational facilities; d.Promotional initiatives that employ a variety of tactics; accessible school sites; and f. a list of accomplishments in the public and religious spheres.

Abstract

This paper discusses Said Nursi’s Qur’anic interpretation, Risalah al-Nur and its historical background and foundational role in Islamic intellectual history and its religious tradition under the repressive secular modern Turkish Republic administration. It looks into the cultural impact of its moral-spiritual teaching and its historical significance in developing and fulfilling the fundamental role of Qur’anic revelation in delivering and justifying the principal of ethics and morality, and its cosmological values in guiding the formation of higher ethical-legal and civilizational framework. The study is based on library research using historical and qualitative approaches and documentation technique. The finding shows that the Risalah al-Nur has set forth through empirical and scientific method, the conclusive truth of the Qur’an and hadith paradigm, by way of similitude and comparison, which provide basic proof of the postulates of its inimitability and miraculousness, that was vital in strengthening the belief of tawhid and in reinforcing the religious and spiritual consciousness of the people. In the context of its interpretation and historical significance, the discourse presented in the Risalah al-Nur emphatically upheld the teaching of the Qur’an and hadith and contextualize its transcendental ideals, philosophy and values to modern life.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the need to discuss Al-Farabi's thoughts, where discussion of this matter had still barely been brought to the surface, so the researcher conducted research which aimed to find out Al-Farabi's Educational Thoughts in Contemporary Islamic Education. Through descriptive methods using literature studies, it can be concluded that al-Farabi succeeded in reconciling several philosophical teachings such as Plato and Aristotle and also reconciling religion and philosophy, al-Farabi's thought model is a rational religious school, al-Farabi's Islamic educational thought lies in the existence of intention good character which will lead to good morals, al-Farabi's Islamic education curriculum is in line with the high level curriculum of Islamic education, in divine philosophy al-Farabi puts forward the proposition of obligatory al-wujud and possible al-wujud, in prophetic philosophy al-Farabi argues that it is closely the influence of prophets and philosophers in their ability to communicate with fa'al reason, in the state al-Farabi divided the state or government into state, main, ignorant state, the heretical state, the wicked state, and the changed state, then Al-Farabi's educational thought has significant relevance to contemporary Islamic education, its focus on character formation, spiritual values, and practical skills

Abstract

Shalahuddin Al Ayyubi is a respected figure in Islamic history and is remembered as one of the most influential figures in the Middle Ages. This research aims to explain more comprehensively the leadership of Shalahuddin Al Ayyubi in Islamic civilization. This research is qualitative descriptive research with a literature study approach that refers to several research data sources and data collection techniques in the form of a study of Islamic civilization from the figure Shalahuddin Al Ayyubi. Data collection was carried out by searching and reconstructing from various sources such as articles in journals, books, and previous research that were relevant to the research study, which were then analyzed in a primordial manner. The focus of the research that will be addressed is the leadership of Shalahuddin Al Ayyubi in Islamic civilization. The data collection technique used in this research is the library research method, namely literature study with the data analysis technique used in this research is the hermeneutic method. In this research, it can be concluded that Shalahuddin Al Ayyubi was a general and Muslim fighter who had an intelligent soul and a noble heart. Shalahuddin Al Ayyubi was a prominent military and political leader, famous for his success in reclaiming the holy city of Jerusalem from the Crusaders. This crusade took place in three periods, namely the first period in 1096 -1144 AD, the second period in 1144 - 1192 AD, and the third period in 1193 -1291 AD. Shalahuddin Al Ayyubi's leadership in Islamic civilization was in sharp contrast to the existence of Ahlusunnah Waljamaah As an Official School, Appointment of Qadhi from the Ahlusunnah Waljamaah Group, Establishment of a Sunni Madrasah, Changing the Orientation of Al-Ahzar University to Sunni, and Elimination of Shiite Books.

Abstract

This research aims to complement existing research regarding the leadership of Khulafaur Rasyidin in Islamic civilization which is described comprehensively and explained partially. This research is descriptive qualitative research with a literature study approach that refers to several sources of research data and data collection techniques in the form of a study of Islamic civilization during the time of Khulafaur Rasyidin. Data collection was carried out by searching and reconstructing from various sources such as articles in journals, books, and previous research that were relevant to the research study, which were then analyzed in a primordial manner. The focus of the research that will be addressed is Khulafaur Rasyidin's leadership in Islamic civilization. The data collection technique used in this research is the library research method, namely library research with the data analysis technique used in this research is the hermeneutic method. In this research, it can be concluded that during the time of the Rasyidin khulafaur, namely Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq, Umar Bin Khattab, and Ali bin Abi Talib, they had differentiated characteristics regarding their leadership during the Islamic civilization period where Abu Bakar implemented a model of government that had the characteristics of a monarchy, similar to a kingdom system, with himself as Caliph or head of government. Umar had an administrative system which was mostly an economic system and judicial organization. Then Usman was the first to form a navy which succeeded in expanding Islamic power to various regions. Meanwhile, Caliph Ali took a political policy that was said to be quite risky, because this policy caused hatred from high-ranking officials during Usman's caliphate.

Abstract

The discourse on the role and contribution of Muslim scholars to the progress of mankind and modern life needs great attention. Their traces cannot be erased either from the existing facts or the collective memory of mankind. Ibn Rushd is one of the Muslim scholars who has made his mark on the Western World. Ibn Rushd is known in the Western world as Averroes. It is an indisputable fact that the traces of Ibn Rushd's scholarship are very clear in the Western world. This research explores the teachings and thoughts of Ibn Rushd who were influential in the Western World. The result of Ibn Rushd's thought has a very strong network to this day. The various rationality movements that took place in the West were inspired by the thought of Ibn Rushd. Therefore, the expression of Ibn Rushd's thought is something that really needs to be revealed, both its origin and its substance. The revelation of the origins and substance of this thought will prove the extent to which Muslim scholars contributed to modern civilization. Ibn Rushd's thought related to the relationship between philosophy and religion, namely that between philosophy and religion are interrelated. Philosophy reveals the nature of truth based on ratios; while Islam expresses a truth based on revelation from God. Islamic philosophy and religion should not contradict, so that the two cannot be separated and should even strengthen each other. Ibn Rushd's thought is understood and implemented by the West very differently, that is, only philosophical thought is considered correct.

Abstract

A diplomat needs to learn diplomatic terms, especially the acquisition of Arabic terms in the field of diplomacy. This research aims to understand the origin of the formation of diplomatic terms in the Arabic language. This research is of a descriptive qualitative type. The data collection method used in this research is the document analysis method. The primary sources are books on the science of diplomacy to extract its terms, books on morphology and arabization to understand and explain the origin of the terms, and dictionaries. Secondary sources include various related journals. The results show that the formation of terms in this research involves two processes: the morphological process and the arabization process. The morphological process involves transforming word forms from one form to another to achieve the desired meaning. The arabization process involves two possibilities: first, incorporating foreign language words into Arabic to become part of the Arabic language, the second possibility is incorporating modern foreign language words into Arabic using the Arabic word itself.

Abstract

Deliar Noer is Indonesian scholar in the field of Islamic politics and history in 20th century. His thoughts on the modern Indonesian Islamic movement 1900-1942 have made scientific contributions and become a reference for Islamic studies in Indonesia. The writing of this article aims to analyze the thoughts of a Deliar Noer in his book entitled "Modern Indonesian Islamic Movement 1900-1942". The method used in thi article is a literature review research method. The results showed; (1) the beginning ofthe modern Islamic movement emerged from the influence of the ulama who studied in the Middle East, until modern Islamic thoughts spread to various regions in the Dutch East Indies using organizational, educational, and press methods. (2) Modern Islamic movements in Indonesia can be distinguished into social education, political and economic movements. (3) the development of the modern Islamic movement experienced dynamics and reactions that emerged from the Dutch colonial government, traditional Muslim circles, as well as national and nationalist circles.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari Stasiun Pirusa yang mulai dilupakan oleh masyarakat Tasikmalaya dan sekitarnya, padahal stasiun tersebut sudah sangat berjasa dalam memfasilitasi pengangkutan pasir ke Ibukota Jakarta. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk memberikan informasi mengenai Stasiun Pirusa yang berperan besar dalam pembangunan gedung-gedung pada masa Orde Baru. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Sejarah menggunakan pendekatan interdisipliner dengan ilmu bantu ekonomi. Ilmu ekonomi sebagai ilmu bantu untuk mengungkap data dan fakta. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori supply and demand. Pencarian fakta dan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi lapangan, wawancara dan kajian pustaka terutama arsip dan buku-buku yang berhubungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stasiun ini menjadi stasiun terbesar pengangkut pasir di Indonesia pada zamannya. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan total volume pengangkutan pasir dalam satu tahun (Juli 1987 - Juni 1988) adalah 428.251 m3, rata-rata perbulan adalah 36.600 m3 dengan keuntungan Rp 4.400 sampai Rp 7.400 per m3 bagi perusahaan. Masyarakat sekitar juga mendapatkan keuntungan ekonomi dengan adanya stasiun Pirusa dikarenakan terbukanya lapangan pekerjaan dari kuli kasar pengumpul pasir, penggali pasir, supir truk hingga operator alat berat. Selain itu warga sekitar memanfaatkan banyaknya pekerja dengan membuka warung makan di sekitar stasiun, mereka juga secara ilegal menumpang kereta untuk bepergian ke Bandung dan Jakarta maupun sebaliknya dengan gratis.
