Abstract

One of the problems in learning PPKn (Civics) is that the results of learning Civics on Regional Characteristics whithin the framework of the Unitary State Of the republic of Indonesia are not ideal,indicator of statement is seen from the results of daily assessments that most student have not reached the KKM standar. To overcome this problem, a Classroom Action Research (PTK) was conducted using the Discovery Learning method with the Snowball Throwing model. The purpose of this study is the improve the learning outcomes of civics on Regional Characteristics within the framework of the unitary state of the Republic of Indonesia,through the discovery learning model of the Snowball Throwing model in class VII B student of SMP Negeri 2 Mungkid in the 2021/2022 academoc year. The subject were 31 student, the research data sources, were obtained from qualitative data the from data from observations of theacher and student activities and quantitative data in the from of tst data students learning outcomes. The results of the fist cycle research obtained that 17 student, who completed individually, with classical compleceted 55% with an average value of 77. While in results of the research in cycle II increased with number of students who completed as many as 31 students with a 100% compleceted percentage with an average value of 94 based on the results of study. Learning using the discovery Learning method of the Snowball Throwing mode can improve the learning outcome of class VII B grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Mungkid school year 2021/2022.

Abstract

One of the problems in learning mathematics is the weak ability of students to apply knowledge to solve problems in real life, especially in solving problems in Geometry. In an effort to solve this problem, Classroom Action research was carried out, using the Discovery learning Model. This study aimed to improve the learning achievement of class IX D SMP N Dukun in 2018-2019 using the Discovery learning model. The research subjects were 30 students, the source of research data was obtained from qualitative data in the form of data from observations of teacher and student activities and quantitative data in the form of test data on student learning outcomes. The results of the first cycle research were obtained by students who completed individually as many as 24 students with classical completeness of as much as 80%. While the second cycle of research increased with the number of students who completed individually as many as 30 students with a 100% completeness percentage. With the results of this study, learning using the Discovery learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class IX D students at SMPN Dukun for the 2018-2019 school year.

Abstract

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi hasil belajar siswa yang masih rendah. Kesulitan penguasaan materi sering dialami siswa, dipicu kondisi pasca pandemi covid-19 yang terpaksa tidak dapat mengikuti pembelajaran secara offline. Frekuensi tatap muka siswa - guru yang sangat minim, juga memicu rendahnya aktifitas belajar. Untuk membangkitkan kembali semangat belajar siswa, serta meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, guru mencoba melakukan upaya pembelajaran yang lebih yang lebih baik dengan metode Problem Based Learning. Tujuan Penulisan Karya Ilmiah ini bertujuan 1) untuk mengetahui apakah model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa materi Persamaan dan Fungsi Kuadrat di kelas IX SMPN 2 Muntilan 2) untuk mengetahui apakah model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan karakter disiplin, percaya diri, mampu bekerja dalam tim, dan bekerja dengan penuh tanggung jawab dalam aktifitas belajar siswa. Penelitian ini berbentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan metode analisis data secara deskriptif komperatif yaitu membandingkan rata-rata hasil belajar dari setiap siklus sesuai indikatornya. Pelaksanaan dilakukan dalam dua siklus, siklus kedua sebagai penyempurna siklus pertama.Tiap siklus terdiri atas perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai hasil belajar siswa siklus I sebesar 72,4 dengan persentase ketuntasan 36,7 %. Sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar siklus ke- 2 adalah 80,5 dengan persentase ketuntasan sebesar 60 %. Keaktifan siswa di siklus I sebesar 11,13% kategori baik, dan di siklus II sebesar 13,53, jadi telah terjadi peningkatan dari sisi sikap belajar siswa. peningkatan nilai karakter disiplin, kerja sama, tanggung jawab dan percaya diri kategori yang semakin baik. Kesimpulan yang diambil dari PTK ini adalah Pembelajaran model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keaktifan belajar siswa materi Persamaan dan Fungsi Kuadrat di kelas IX SMPN 2 Muntilan

Abstract

The aim of this study wanted to describe the level of independence in learning mathematics in VII C grade before the implementation of Experience Language Pictorial Symbolic Application (ELPSA) framework; to describe the implementation of Experience Language Pictorial Symbolic Application (ELPSA) framework to increase the independence of learning mathematics in VII C grade of SMP 1 Ngablak; and to describe the level of independence in learning mathematics in VII C grade after the implementation of Experience Language Pictorial Symbolic Application (ELPSA) framework. The design of the study is that the plot action research design: make an action plan, implementing the action, and reflection activities. The reflection is used as a guide for decision-making to continue or discontinue the study. Research conducted in the spiral cycles to the second cycle. Each cycle ends with an assessment test. The research data in the form of record of observations, field notes, documentation planning, and supervision results. The main data collection instrument was a researcher, while the supporting instruments is the observation, documentation. Data we analyzed by qualitative and quantitative techniques. Based on the research result, it can be concluded that the implementation of mathematics learning with the frame work of Experience Language Pictorial Symbolic Application (ELPSA) framework runs optimally in accordance with the standard (ideal) rules which include apperception, preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities. The average magnitude of the increase in the independence of learning mathematics from the first cycle to the second is 10,89%. The average increase in the test from the first cycle to the second cycle is 3.31. Change in behavior that occur in students, among others, the number of children who bring learning tools increases and also increase their independence.

Abstract

The material of non-polyhedrons or curved-surface solids is closely contextual to everyday life so that the concept must be thoroughly mastered by the students. The discussions of curved-surface solids take many real examples, while what students receive in the classroom is theoretically conceptual. Therefore, by mastering the material of curved-surface solids, students can gain knowledge and skills that are applicable in everyday life. This classroom action research generally aims to improve the learning outcomes in mathematics subject for students of class IX D of SMP Negeri 1 Ngluwar, while this paper has the purpose (1) To describe the implementation of the guided discovery method in improving student learning outcomes (2) To describe the level of learning outcomes of curved-surface solids material (3) To describe the behavioral changes that accompany the improvement of learning outcomes. The research was carried out in 2 cycles. Cycle 1 was carried out in 2 meetings, while cycle 2 was carried out in 2 meetings. So in total there are 4 meetings. There are 4 stages in the implementation of both cycle 1 and cycle 2, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. Learning outcomes data were taken from the evaluation at the end of cycle 1 and cycle 2, while the data on the students’ behavioral changes are taken from an observation sheet. Changes in students’ behavior show that they start to get focused on learning, actively engaged in question-and-answer session, develop habit in taking notes, independent, develop integrity when working on their own, develop politeness in speaking, respecting the opinions of others and grow in self-discipline in terms of submitting assignments and punctuality. The results showed that (1) The guided discovery method could improve student learning outcomes (2) The average learning outcomes of curved-surface solids material increased by 3 points (3) There were changes in behavior that accompanied the increase in curved-surface solids learning outcomes.

Abstract

One of problems in learning mathematics is the weak of students in applying their knowledge to solve their daily life problems. The study of Relations and Functionsis one of theimportant learning materials that supposed to be studied in junior high levels. The application of Relations and Functionswill be a useful guide during their life. Beside that, this study is an essential knowledge that students has to know well as the basic toward the next learning materials. To solve those problems,a researchs of class action (Penelitian tindakan kelas/PTK) has been done using the contextual learning models. The purpose of this research is to improve the student’s outcomes in grade VIII C SMP Negeri 3 Salam the year of 2022/2023 using the contextual learning models. Subjects of the research are 31 students, while the source of the data was taken from the qualitative data of observing both teachers and students activities and also the quantitative data from the students test outcomes. The results are, from the first cycle research, it’s obtained that 23 students finished individuallywith 74% comprehensive classical achievement. Whereas the second cycle research shows an enhancement. The amount of students who had finished individually increase to 27 students with percentage of comprehensive classical achievement as much 87%. Due to the results, can be seen that the contextual learning models may enhance the students achievement in SMP Negeri 3 Salam grade VIII C the year of 2022/2023.

Abstract

One of the problems in learning Indonesian in the material for writing rhymes is the choice of words in writing sentences, especially to equate sounds. To overcome this problem, classroom action research (CAR) was carried out using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning method. The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of class VII A students of SMP Negeri 2 Mertoyudan the 2021/2022 academic year using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) learning model. The research subjects were 32 students, the source of research data was obtained from qualitative data in the form of data from observations of teacher and student activities and quantitative data in the form of test data on student learning outcomes. The results of the first cycle research were obtained by 27 students who completed with classical completeness of 84.37%. While the results of the second cycle of research increased with the number of students who completed as many as 32 students with a presentation of 100% completeness. Based on the results of this study, learning using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) can improve the learning outcomes of class VII A students of SMP Negeri 2 Mertoyudan the 2021/2022 academic year.

Abstract

The discipline attitude of a teacher affects professionalism in playing teaching tasks. Some of the problems that occur regarding the disciplinary behavior of teachers are still found including coming late to school, late for class and lack of discipline in class attendance. If this condition continues and does not get a good solution, it is possible that it can affect student learning activities. In response to this problem, school action research (PTS) was carried out through group counseling in academic supervision at schools. In this case, the focus of the research is how to improve teacher teaching discipline through group counseling in academic supervision at SD Negeri Ngadiharjo 1. The subject of the research is the competence of teachers at SD Negeri 1 Ngadiharjo, with qualitative and descriptive comparative data collection. The results showed that efforts to improve teacher teaching discipline increased with the implementation of actions in cycle I and cycle II through group counseling in academic supervision at SD Negeri Ngadiharjo 1.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to collect, process and analyze data and discuss angkot routes, patterns of population mobility to service centers and the potential for population movement in the city of Padang based on the population of the sample. This research method is a quantitative descriptive research. Because it examines the routes of public transportation and how the movement of people in the city of Padang to service centers and the potential for population movement. The population of this study is all public transportation routes in the city of Padang. The sample of this research is two routes, the angkot route code 201 and route code 419 with the longest route and the number of sub-districts that the angkot passes. The data analysis technique uses (GIS) and Newton's formula for spatial interaction. The results of the study are: 1). Angkot routes in the city of Padang have 87 routes/routes of various colors with a total of 2,604 vehicles. 2). The mobility of the population to the service center in the city of Padang using public transportation is divided into three stages, stage 1 the majority of passengers are students, stage 2 is the majority of passengers from the general public who are not students, stage 3 is the majority of passengers to the general public with the aim of going to the economic service center and the mobility of the population is commuter with a pattern of movement. spread out and return within a day. 3). Abstract

One of the problems in Learning Social Sciences (IPS) in class VII.A SMP Negeri 2 Pakis is the weak ability of students to apply knowledge to solve problems in real life, especially in understanding supply and demand as well as market prices. To overcome this problem, a Classroom Action Research (CAR) was conducted using the Problem Based Learning Model. The purpose of this study was to improve the learning outcomes of class VII A students of SMP Negeri 2 Pakis in the 2021/2022 academic year using the Problem Based Learning Model. The research subjects were 26 students of class 7A consisting of 14 men and 12 women. Sources of research data obtained from qualitative data in the form of data from observations of teacher and student activities and quantitative data in the form of test data on student learning outcomes. The results of the first cycle of research were obtained by 26 students who completed individually with an average score of 79,04. While the results of the second cycle of research experienced an increase in the average value to 84,23 or an increase of 5,57%. Based on the results of this study, learning using the Problem Based Learning learning model can improve the learning outcomes of class VII.A students of SMP Negeri 2 Pakis in the 2021/2022 academic year.
