Abstract

This study aims to examine the role and use of modern technology in the future as depicted in Tere Liye's novel "Matahari" (unedited version). The study employs a descriptive research method, gathering qualitative data of a descriptive nature. The findings reveal that the novel presents several futuristic technologies, including flying cars, flying shoes, flying capsules, three-dimensional map navigation, modern costumes, and wireless electricity. These technologies possess various advanced functions and applications, such as high mobility, exceptional combat capabilities, detailed spatial visualization, comfort and protection for users, and efficient electricity distribution. This study holds significance as it provides insights into the potential applications of modern technology in the future and its implications for human life. The findings can serve as a reference point for further research on future technologies and their impact on human society.

Abstract

Pengukuran kemampuan kognitif menjadi aspek penting dalam pendidikan dan psikologi. Salah satu pendekatan yang banyak digunakan adalah model Cattell-Horn-Carroll (CHC) yang membedakan antara kemampuan umum (broad abilities) dan kemampuan khusus (narrow abilities). Penelitian ini berfokus pada Broad Ability Reading and Writing (Grw) dan dua Narrow Abilities-nya yaitu Spelling Ability dan Reading Comprehension. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji validitas serta reliabilitas alat ukur yang dapat secara efektif mengukur kemampuan membaca dan menulis siswa SMA. Alat ukur yang didesain terdiri atas 50 item untuk mengukur kedua konstruk tersebut. Uji coba alat ukur dilakukan terhadap 108 siswa SMA. Validitas alat ukur diuji melalui Content Validity Index yang menunjukkan semua item layak digunakan. Analisis item menunjukkan distribusi jawaban dan daya beda item yang baik. Berdasarkan hasil reliabilitas, skala ini terbukti reliabel untuk mengukur kemampuan baca tulis dan ejaan siswa SMA. Dengan demikian, alat ukur ini layak digunakan untuk pengukuran kemampuan baca tulis dan ejaan peserta didik SMA.

Abstract

Learning outcomes are an indicator of educational quality; with technological advancements in the Computer Based Assessment (CBA)-based seafarer expertise test, it is hoped that CBA implementation can be carried out transparently. The objective of this study was to discover whether level IV training participants improved their readiness for the Barombong Maritime Polytechnic's Computer-Based Assessment (CBA), if done correctly and in accordance with what is tested by the Seafarer Expertise Examination Organizer. This study applied a survey method to describe the readiness of the examinees to take the computer-based assessment of seafarer skills exams. A total of 75 seafarer skills test participants were used in this study. In this study, the purposive sampling method was used. The study's findings indicated that the examinees were prepared to take the Seafarers Expertise Exam, as evidenced by a test score of 83.14% on the questionnaire for very good assessment, and that the organizers of the Seafarer Skills Exam were ready to conduct computer-based assessments without any obstacles. They must, however, continue to improve in order to achieve better results. The result of the study showed that: 1. Participants in the seafaring skill test have a high level of understanding (94.6%). 2. The respondent's business aspect is excellent (100%). 3. Aspects of respondents' ability in the very good category (100%). 4. The achievement value for the facility aspect is very high (98.7%).

Abstract

Stock prices reflect investors' expectations and have a significant influence on investors' decisions to invest or not to invest. Every investor needs to have knowledge about changes in stock trading. Some key data that investors can use to measure stock price movements include profitability, total cash flow, and liquidity. The relationship between the seller's and the buyer's share prices in the capital market is because the value of shares is always changing. The purpose of this research is to investigate how the relationship between stock price, profitability, total cash flow, liquidity relates to one another. The sample variable for this research is the food and beverage sub-sector entities listed on the IDX from 2018 to 2021. To select these companies using a porposive sampling method, and the criteria used only cover entities that issue financial reports from 2018 to 2021. Multiple regression analysis is used in the methodology This. This study shows that profitability, total cash flow, liquidity affect stock prices. Furthermore, the findings show that share prices are positively influenced by profitability, total cash flow, and liquidity.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning module for writing exposition texts for grade X students at SMA PM 1 Palembang, in order to meet the needs of students and teachers and improve students' understanding and writing skills. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method that follows the steps developed by Jolly and Bolitho and Dick, Carey, and Carey. The first stage was the identification of students' and teachers' needs through questionnaires and interviews. The results show that students need a module that presents material on writing exposition texts in a complete, in-depth, and easy-to-understand manner, with an attractive and systematic display. Next, the module was developed by paying attention to the aspects of content, language, presentation, and graphics. The module was validated by four experts, whose results showed that the module was feasible to use with a total score of 78 or 86.67% of the maximum score. The limited trial showed that the use of this module was effective in improving students' writing ability, with an increase in the average score on the test before and after the use of the module. In conclusion, the developed module can be an effective solution in learning to write exposition texts at SMA PM 1 Palembang. Translated with DeepL.com (free version).

Abstract

This program was designed to assist MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) operators in Kemuning Lor Village, Arjasa District, in securing essential business legality for their business development. The legal documents needed include the acquisition of a Business Identification Number (NIB) and a Home Industry Food Production Certificate (P-IRT). This initiative, carried out by Group 164 of the Collaborative KKN, employed a comprehensive approach involving methods of observation to grasp initial conditions, educational outreach to provide deeper understanding, and intensive mentoring to ensure that MSME operators could apply the knowledge acquired. The program also aimed to educate MSME operators on the significance of business legality as a means to enhance the competitiveness of their products in wider markets. By utilizing the Online Single Submission (OSS) platform, the licensing process became simpler and more transparent, encouraging MSME operators to promptly manage their business legality. The program's outcomes indicate a significant improvement in MSME operators' understanding and capabilities in handling business legality, ultimately assisting them in expanding their business scale and improving product quality.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance digital literacy among students at SDN Kemuning Lor 01 through a socialization and education program initiated by KKN Kolaborative 164 students. The research method used is an interactive approach with initial (pretest) and final (posttest) assessments to measure students' knowledge of digital literacy. The results indicate that most students have limited knowledge of safe and responsible smartphone usage. The education provided successfully increased students' understanding of digital literacy, as evidenced by the improvement in posttest results compared to pretest. Early digital literacy education is crucial in equipping children with the necessary skills to navigate the increasingly complex digital era. Therefore, digital literacy should be prioritized in primary education to prepare future generations for the challenges of modern technology.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the use of digital marketing to increase angkringan income in the Kemayoran area. The research method used is a qualitative research method. The object of this study was angkringan businesses in the Kemayoran area as many as 8 angkringan businesses in the Kemayoran area. The data analysis technique used was triangulation analysis to test the validity of the data collected and descriptive analysis from miles & huberman. The results obtained from this study are that the use of digital media has a significant impact on the development of angkringan businesses. However, its effectiveness varies depending on the extent to which business owners actively and consistently utilize digital platforms. Business owners who actively use platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and WhatsApp Business tend to experience increased revenue and customer interaction. Conversely, owners who are less active or only use Google Business do not experience a significant increase. Therefore, the use of digital marketing depends on the ability of business owners to manage digital media.

Abstract

The compliance level of student in traffic dicipline refers to the extent to which students adhere to traffic rules and regulations while driving or walking on the road. This study aims to determine the traffic compliance level of Bangka Belitung University students according to Law No. 22 of 2009. The research employs an empirical juridical method with a sociological legal approach and qualitative descriptive analysis. The sampling method used is Purposive Sampling with the Maximum Variation Sampling technique. The results show that the compliance level of Bangka Belitung University of this study indicate that the level of compliance level Bangka Belitung University students falls within the Identification scale. Among 379 student surveyed. 184 admitted to violating traffic rules under urgent circumstances, and 120 cited negligence, placing 304 students within this scale. Twenty-six students were on the third or highest scale, Internalization, and 87 students were on the first scale, Compliance, indicating violations due to the absence of traffic police. Field observations also confirmed tat many Bangka Belitung Universitystudents do not comply with traffic regulations within the campus environment. Therefore, active participation from both the police and the university is needed to bridge this issue and create traffic discipline.

Abstract

Decision No. 379/Pid.Sus/2021/PN.PGP is the decision of the Pangkalpinang District Court which decided the Narcotics crime case. The legal facts stated that the convict had been convicted in the same case and had fulfilled the elements as intended in the regulations regarding recidivism in the Narcotics Law, but this was not implemented in the judge's considerations or in his decision. The aim of this research is to determine the imposition of criminal sanctions on perpetrators who repeat narcotics crimes and how appropriate criminal sentences are imposed on perpetrators in terms of the principle of legality. The research method used is Normative Juridical legal research, while the approach used is the case approach. The research results show that Decision number 379/Pid.Sus/2021/PN.PGP still requires better judge consideration, because the decision does not consider the element of the convict's actions as a repetition of crimes based on the Principle of Legality. The convict was sentenced to 6 (six) years and 6 months in prison, where the sentence was lighter than the previous sentence, in Decision Number 44/Pid.Sus/2016/PN PGP, namely imprisonment for 7 (seven) years. Article 144 paragraph (1) of the Narcotics Law states that a recidivist must receive a heavier sentence. However, the article regarding recidivism was not included in the judge's considerations, even though if it was adjusted to this article, the perpetrator could receive heavier sanctions, namely the maximum penalty increased by 1/3. This shows that the decision does not apply the principle of the Principle of Legality.
