Abstract

The objective of this study is to demonstrate the advantages of utilizing ICT (Information and Communication Technology) learning tools in the context of studying Indonesian Language Subject and to examine its impact on student motivation and academic performance. With the advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, traditional ways of learning are no longer necessary, particularly when it comes to selecting educational resources. Due to technological advancements, learning media has evolved into digital formats that cater to many elements of education. This educational approach is commonly referred to as ICT-based learning, which stands for information and communication technology-based learning. It enables students to study from any location, unrestricted by the confines of traditional classroom settings, in order to access the most up-to-date material. The use of educational media significantly impacts the student learning process by facilitating learning activities, enhancing motivation, and improving student learning outcomes. The research methodology employed in this study is a comprehensive literature review. The data gathering process involved using Google Scholars to select publications that focused on ICT (Information and Communication Technology) learning media in Indonesian language learning and its impact on student motivation and learning results. The outcome of this study is an Indonesian language acquisition model that may be implemented by incorporating the Indonesian language learning model (listening, speaking, reading, and writing) with ICT media (computers, internet, multimedia). Research has demonstrated that the implementation of ICT-based learning has a positive impact on student motivation and learning outcomes, as seen by improvements in average student grades and increased passion for learning. In order to achieve success and overcome barriers, the use of ICT in learning must undergo a process that includes planning, development, evaluation, and revision stages. This process involves the participation of numerous educational actors.

Abstract

Watu Maladong Beach, located in Penengge Ede Village, Kodi Balaghar District, Southwest Sumba Regency, has begun to receive attention from the local government as a tourist destination. It is approximately 57 kilometers from the city center of Tambolaka. This study aims to identify the tourism potential of Watu Maladong Beach based on its attractions and to formulate an area arrangement that is in accordance with this potential. To achieve this goal, qualitative and quantitative descriptive methods are used, including analysis of potential tourist attractions and formulation of area arrangement according to its physical characteristics and attractions. The results of the analysis show that Watu Maladong Beach has significant potential to be developed as a tourist destination, especially in terms of its natural attractions. The natural beauty and natural conditions of this area greatly support the development of tourism activities. However, this area requires special handling for beach facilities in order to cope with the increase in visitor flow during certain periods. Based on its physical characteristics, the area arrangement is divided into three zones: marine tourism zone, historical tourism zone, and outbound zone. In developing the tourism potential of Watu Maladong Beach, it is important to consider ecological aspects so that the balance of the environment and nature is maintained. The local government is expected to create policies that can be used as references and guidelines in developing this area.

Abstract

This study aims to explore development strategies for Sumba ikat weaving within the context of traditional craftsmanship and its potential as an export item. Sumba ikat weaving is a cultural heritage with high value both in terms of its production techniques and its diverse motifs. This research employs a quantitative method with data collected through questionnaires and observations of Sumba weaving craftsmanship. The analysis results indicate that the development strategies for Sumba ikat weaving include preserving traditional techniques, leveraging local community potential, and enhancing exhibition activities to attract wider public interest. Additionally, collaboration with third parties, innovation in production, and effective promotion are necessary to maintain market interest and increase demand. The findings of this study reveal that despite challenges in development, the potential for Sumba ikat to become an export product and support the local economy is substantial. Community involvement in promotional and preservation efforts is crucial for ensuring the sustainability and growth of this industry. In conclusion, public interest in traditional Indonesian textiles, particularly Sumba ikat, remains high and shows great potential for further development.

Abstract

Psychological well-being is an individual's psychological ability which he or she successfully accepts his strengths and weaknesses, has a purpose in life, able to develop positive relationships with others, has an independent personality, able to controls the environment, and conducts personal development. Work-life balance is an individual's ability to balance his personal and work life. This study aims to obtain empirical evidence regarding the effect of work-life balance on the psychological well-being of workers in several regions in Indonesia. The research method used quantitative study, and data collected through questionnaires. Respondents was 102 workers, who has various demographic and occupations backgrounds. The results showed that there was a significant influence (9.2%) of work-life balance on workers’ psychological well-being. There were no differences in psychological well-being and work-life balance related to demographic aspects (gender, age, marital status, and education level) and occupational aspects (employment status and employment period).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to decribe terms used in the Gunungsitoli, Nias, and implementation of Famotu Ono Nihalo. A deeply meaningful and culturally significant ritual for the Nias is called Famotu Ono Nihalo. The community and traditional leaders speak in a variety of ways during this rite. In order to collect data for this study, qualitative methods, including literature reviews, interviews, and observation, were used. Understanding the meaning of terms in the context of Gunungsitoli's application of Famotu Ono Nihalo is aided by this research. This knowledge can contribute to the preservation of Nias customs and culture as well as enhance Indonesia's cultural assets.

Abstract

Increasing teacher competency must be carried out continuously. Teachers are an important component in implementing learning. In the Merdeka curriculum, the term Differentiated Learning is known. Differentiated learning is learning that recognizes students' differences in terms of interest, readiness to learn and motivation. Differentiated learning maximizes learning according to students' abilities. In differentiated learning, students are given assignments according to their abilities, interests and preferences, so that they can maximize their potential which leads to increased learning outcomes and motivation. Differentiated Learning Training was carried out at the Kota Kinabalu Indonesian School with 20 teachers participating. This activity provides benefits for teachers at the Kota Kinabalu Indonesian School (SIKK). Differentiated learning also builds cooperation between students and increases their independence in learning. The training was held for 3 days from July 31 to August 2 2024. Training participants received 90% satisfaction with the material. The implementation of this training strengthens the quality of teachers and the school ecosystem.

Abstract

Forecasting (predictive) analytics has been empowered by machine learning (ML) as a discipline leading to the development of potent instruments for outcome prediction and decision-making enhancement across many domains, such as healthcare, finance, retailing, manufacturing, and transportation. This paper looks at how and what the new advanced ML algorithms in predictive analytics entail and its important applications, and case studies that show its relevance in business areas and domains. Nevertheless, the broader adoption of ML in risk analytics has its challenges and restriction. These are data issues, model issues, model’s interpretability and over fitting, and lastly the issues to do with computational resource needed for model’s development and implementation. Other issues for concern include bias, discrimination, and privacy matters all of which must be taken into account to the enable the proper implementation of the ML technologies. However, model maintenance and scalability are issues because no one model stays great or optimal indefinitely. In conclusion, the article asserts that despite the fact that ML uncovers great possibilities of optimum use to foster efficiency gains, overcoming these issues needs more than a fix; it entails the improved way of data management the ML explain ability initiatives, the ethical regulation of governance and constant model refinement. It is now crucial to overcome these barriers while providing organizations with justified, transparent, and effective use of ML for predictive analytics.

Abstract

This research examines the influence of customer feedback on improving service quality, as well as the role of consumer loyalty as a mediator in this relationship. This research uses quantitative sampling techniques with purposive sampling with the criteria that respondents have previously provided feedback to PT. Pos Indonesia sub-district branch. Paciran, sample size 100 respondents. are customers. The analysis method uses Smart PLS. The results of testing the first hypothesis (H1) show that customer feedback has a positive influence on the service quality variable. This shows that feedback that is received and responded to well by the organization can increase service excellence. The results of testing the second hypothesis show that consumer loyalty can be a mediator in the relationship between customer feedback and service excellence.

Abstract

This research is related to the implementation of differentiated learning on pantun material assisted with Betawi comic media. The importance role of the teachers in implementing the innovations is crucial to maintain the relevance of curriculum development. The characteristics of different learners are also very important to learn. The impact of this neglect is the lack of effective understanding of students in the learning process. Educators are required to be able to design new learning technologies and methodologies. In addition to new methods, the learning media created is also an attraction for students. The combination of differentiated learning and illustrated comic media is expected to create imaginative, creative and innovative graduates. Differentiated learning is an educational approach that aims to accommodate the various learning needs of learners. Through this learning, educators can adjust methods, materials and assessments to suit the diverse abiliti es, interests and learning styles of learners. Effective media to implement learning can increase students' interest and motivation to learn, as well as facilitate understanding of the material. The research method used is classroom action research with the subject of Junior High School students. The purpose of this study is to explore the effectiveness of differentiated learning using comic media as well as finding obstacles in its application at Almanar Azhari Junior High School class VII. The results of this study show that differentiated learning on pantun material assisted with Betawi comic media is effective in recognizing the learning style of each student. In order to achieve learning objectives and improve the achievement of each student.

Abstract

Character development focuses on building soft skills competency, in this case, the care activities in the implementation of the education and training process are able to create a fresh environment and foster enthusiasm or enthusiasm for learning and training in cadets to realize human resources in transportation that are physically fit, professional in how they work and have ethic. The purpose of this research is to find out how the implementation of the disciplinary character development of cadets, the method used is qualitative research with a phenomenological approach with a type of case study research with Politeknik Pelayaran Barombong Cadets 61 unit. The data were obtained from observations of the daily activities of cadets and interviews to Head of the Center for Character Development, Caregivers, Company Officers, Counselors and cadets. The data were analyzed using data reduction measures, display data and verification, based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the character development of the discipline level towards discipline within the campus is classified as high, it can be seen from the daily activities that are realized in all activities at the Character Development Center. From the research, it is hoped that discipline can be impproved by formulating policies and activity programs and provide input in increasing attention in instilling disciplinary values ​​that include intracurricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities.
