Abstract

The scholarship program at SMK Sirajul Falah aims to support equitable access to education for students who have potential but face financial constraints. However, the previous scholarship selection process was still conducted conventionally through manual recording and evaluation, which could lead to subjectivity, time inefficiency, human error, and a lack of transparency and accountability. This Community Service Program (PkM) aimed to implement a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to support a more objective and systematic scholarship selection process. The activity was conducted at SMK Sirajul Falah, Bogor Regency, on May 4–6, 2026, targeting 50 participants consisting of scholarship selection committee members, administrative staff, and teachers. The implementation method consisted of needs analysis, system design and implementation, training and hands-on practice, mentoring, and evaluation. The system employed four criteria: report card grades, parents' income, number of dependents, and non-academic achievements, with weights of 0.4, 0.3, 0.2, and 0.1, respectively. The results showed that the DSS was able to process data and automatically generate rankings, as well as produce selection reports that could be used to support decision-making. The training also improved participants' ability to manage criteria data, enter student data, perform the ranking process, and generate reports. The implementation of the system contributed to improving the efficiency, objectivity, transparency, and accountability of the scholarship selection process at SMK Sirajul Falah.

Abstract

Oi, to intensively utilize social media without adequate digital security literacy, creating vulnerabilities exploited through social engineering that targets human psychological weaknesses. This study aims to measure the level of digital security awareness among members of Ormas Oi South Tangerang before and after an educational intervention, and to analyze the significance of the difference as an indicator of the effectiveness of preventing social engineering practices on social media. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design involving 25 active members selected through purposive sampling, with data analyzed using a paired sample t-test. Results showed that digital security education scores increased from an average of 10.76 to 16.32, and social engineering prevention awareness increased from 16.12 to 23.96, with a significance value of p<0.05 and a very large effect size, although N-Gain scores were predominantly in the moderate category. These findings confirm that structured education effectively shifted members' cognitive patterns from passive social trust toward reflective vigilance as a human firewall. It is concluded that the educational intervention had a significant impact, though it should be conducted continuously with real-case simulations, and future research is recommended to employ control groups and longitudinal measurements.

Abstract

Dengue hemorrhagic fever or known as DHF is an infectious disease caused by the dengue virus through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. Dengue fever is very susceptible to occur in residential conditions that do not care about environmental cleanliness. This can be caused by a lack of knowledge and application of clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS). The purpose of the community service activity is to provide information about the prevention of dengue hemorrhagic fever to students of SDN 94 Kendari. The counseling was carried out using the lecture method, question and answer and discussion. The toolkit used a leaflet from the Ministry of Health of The Republic of Indonesia. The service activities were enthusiastically followed by the students and they were committed to implementing clean and healthy living behavior as an effort to prevent dengue hemorrhagic fever.

Abstract

The problem faced by MAN 11 Jakarta is the low level of literacy and numeracy skills among some teachers in integrating learning activities with digital media. This condition affects the optimization of innovative, engaging, and contextual learning processes that are aligned with the demands of the Kurikulum Merdeka. Teachers still tend to rely on conventional teaching methods, resulting in limited opportunities for students to experience interactive and contextual learning. In addition, limited understanding of the use of educational technology has prevented literacy and numeracy materials from being fully utilized to support students’ competency achievement. The solution offered through this program is a digital media-based literacy and numeracy training program aimed at improving the competencies of teachers at MAN 11 Jakarta. The program focuses on enhancing teachers’ abilities to design, develop, and utilize interactive digital media for learning. The methods employed include workshops, intensive mentoring, and hands-on practice in developing literacy- and numeracy-based learning content that can be accessed by students both online and offline. Continuous evaluation is also conducted to ensure that teachers are able to independently implement the knowledge and skills acquired through the training in their teaching and learning activities. The expected outcomes of the program include: (1) improved teacher competencies in digital-based literacy and numeracy; (2) the availability of learning modules and digital learning media relevant to various subjects; (3) the publication of a community service article in a reputable journal; and (4) improved learning quality at MAN 11 Jakarta to support the achievement of the Kurikulum Merdeka. Therefore, this program is expected to provide a sustainable positive impact on the improvement of teacher and student competencies, as well as the overall quality of the school.

Abstract

The rapid penetration of the internet in Indonesia has not been matched by digital literacy skills among vocational students at SMK YPUI Parung, who remain vulnerable to online fraud, fake news, account hacking, and cyberbullying. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to raise cyber awareness, provide data protection skills, and foster digital communication ethics. The implementation method consisted of three phases: preparation, execution (pre-test, multimedia presentation, hands-on account security simulation, and post-test), and evaluation. The results revealed a 50% increase in cognitive understanding, rising from 35% in the pre-test to 85% in the post-test. Furthermore, 100% of participants successfully activated Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and reconfigured their social media privacy settings. This education proved effective in building safe and responsible digital habits.

Abstract

Digital transformation in education requires schools to strengthen teachers’ ability to use information technology for learning and administrative activities. This community service activity aimed to improve the understanding and skills of teachers at Techno Media Vocational High School in using the SIMAS-G application. The activity used several stages, including needs observation, material delivery, application demonstration, hands-on practice, mentoring, and evaluation. Participants were introduced to the application functions, login process, menu navigation, main features, and practical use in school activities. Evaluation was conducted through practice observation and pre-test and post-test instruments that can be adjusted to the actual activity data. The results indicate that practical training combined with direct mentoring helped participants understand the application workflow and increased their readiness to use SIMAS-G independently. The activity is expected to strengthen teachers’ digital literacy and support digital transformation within the school environment.

Abstract

This activity aims to implement a stock management application to improve the skills of employees at Bebepedia Baby Shop located in South Tangerang. This activity emerged as a solution to the problem of manual recording across multiple warehouse locations, which has previously hindered real-time data access and potentially disrupted their advantage in fast delivery. The implementation of this activity includes the development of an integrated information system, field observation, system design, technical training to enhance employees' digital literacy, and daily operational trials. The results of the implementation show that the achievement and satisfaction levels of the partner reached 90%, marked by a significant increase in operational efficiency and employee capabilities. Now, employees can monitor stock in real-time across all three warehouses, thereby reducing the risk of overstocking and product information errors. In addition to producing tangible outputs such as a digital application and scientific publications, this activity recommends integrating the system directly with marketplaces and adding a stock prediction feature to enhance future operational efficiency.

Abstract

This community engagement program addressed the need to strengthen digital literacy and Arabic language learning at As-Sittu Islamic Boarding School in Pandeglang, Banten. The partner institution faces geographic, economic, infrastructure, and internet-access limitations that reduce students' exposure to interactive digital learning media. The program aimed to introduce the importance of information technology and train students to develop a simple Arabic speech translation application. The implementation employed a hands-on training approach with intensive assistance through several stages: orientation, introduction to MIT App Inventor, interface design, block-based programming, live testing using AI Companion, and application building and installation. Participants were adolescents from junior high school to university level. The activity produced practical learning experiences in integrating speech recognition, text processing, translation, and text-to-speech functions into a mobile application. The reported outcomes indicate improved practical exposure to Arabic pronunciation, vocabulary, conversation comprehension, digital literacy, and basic application-development skills. The activity also demonstrated the potential of technology-based training as a capacity-building strategy for pesantren communities. Further periodic training and institutional support are recommended so that the skills acquired can be strengthened and developed into sustainable technology-based educational practices. Abstract

Climate change has a major impact on agriculture, particularly food crops, meaning that without mitigation and adaptation efforts addressing rising temperatures, shifting rainfall patterns, and sea-level rise, the food agriculture sector will suffer massive losses. Furthermore, the threat of declining strategic food crop production is driven not only by climate change but also by inadequate reservoir and irrigation infrastructure, along with the ongoing, uncontrolled conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural uses, which is further compounded by crop failures from extreme weather and pest or disease outbreaks. To address these challenges, efforts to reduce the risk of crop failure can be implemented through both structural and non-structural measures, developing diverse species and varieties resistant to climate stress, applying climate information, developing soil and crop management technologies to enhance plant adaptability, and developing farm business protection systems against losses caused by climate change.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology requires educational institutions to adapt through the application of digital systems to improve the efficiency and quality of academic information services. In fact, many schools still manage and disseminate academic information manually, for example through announcement boards, printed media, and messaging groups, so that information dissemination is not yet optimal. This condition also occurs at MTs Al-Ittihadiyah, which still faces obstacles in managing school administration and disseminating information. Therefore, this Community Service (PKM) activity aims to develop and disseminate a web-based Academic Information System as a medium for school digitalization. The implementation method includes needs analysis through observation and interviews, system design using the Waterfall approach, website development using HTML5 and CSS3, system implementation on a server, and socialization and basic website-building training for students. The developed website uses a one-page concept with Home, About Us, New Student Admission (PPDB), Photo Gallery, and Contact menus. The results show that the system was successfully implemented, can be accessed online, and is able to improve the efficiency of school information dissemination compared to the previous manual method. Teachers and school operators are able to independently manage website content after the training, while students gained basic understanding and skills in website creation using HTML and CSS. This activity resulted in a more effective, transparent, and accessible school information medium, as well as increased readiness of MTs Al-Ittihadiyah to face the digital transformation of education.
