Abstract

Child protection is part of the implementation of human rights values. This has the aim of protecting children's rights to live, grow, develop and participate optimally in society.However, in reality the rights of children are often neglected even though there is Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection. This is due to the limited knowledge and understanding of the community regarding what to do when children get violence; and there are still many children's rights that are still neglected and protection must still be carried out in the interests of the child's future. So that socialization related to child protection laws is urgently needed to increase knowledge and understanding to the public regarding these laws.

Abstract

Getting to know Banjar culture while learning mathematics (ethnomathematics) and getting to know Banjar culture as well as learning language (ethnolinguistics) is a new thing for people to love Banjar culture more. This service introduced ethnomathematics and ethnolinguistics to the wider community through Radio Republik Indonesia Banjarmasin. The broadcast that specifically talks about Banjar culture is the Baisukan Pandiran Event which is held every Monday at 09.00-10.00 WITA. This activity was carried out 4 times in a row regarding: a) ethnomathematics of Sultan Suriansyah Mosque, b)Ethnomathematics in Kuntau Martial Arts in South Kalimantan, c) Ethnolinguistics of Religion and Beliefs of the Banjar People, and d) Ethnolinguistics of Traditional Arts of the Banjar People.

Abstract

Every year, a program called a "tracer study" is run to collect and analyze data from graduates (a year after graduation). Seeks to guarantee that graduates have good work and submit it on time following university or institute criteria after graduation. Within 1-2 months of filling it out, a data analyst processes the data and validates its accuracy. Data for 10 study programs were collected, and comparisons were made between the graduation years of 2019 and 2020. In 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic started. The Institut Teknologi kalimantan (ITK) was significantly impacted by Covid-19, which led to all work being done online on campus. Evaluation criteria for ITK include the length of time it takes graduates to find employment, their GPA, the nature of their alumni employment, and their reasons for not finding employment one year after graduation. In order to be able to create more qualified alumni, the rate ranking approach will help examine the success of the study program and provide an evaluation of the study program. This paper's two lowest-ranking disciplines are electrical engineering, materials engineering, and metallurgy..

Abstract

Clean and healthy life behavior, often abbreviated as PHBS, is all behavior as a form of embodiment of a healthy life orientation in individual, family and community culture, which aims to improve, maintain and protect one's health physically, mentally, spiritually and socially. One of the most important PHBS is PHBS in schools. PHBS in schools is an activity to empower students, teachers and the school community to want to adopt a healthy lifestyle to create healthy schools. The benefits of PHBS in schools are able to create a clean and healthy environment, improve the teaching and learning process and students, teachers and the school community become healthy. implementation of PHBS in schools includes washing hands with soap, consuming healthy snacks, using clean and healthy latrines, exercising regularly, eradicating mosquito larvae, not smoking in the school environment, disposing of trash in its place, and, doing community service with school residents to creating a healthy environment. Health promotion regarding PHBS was carried out at SDN 16 Air Tawar, North Padang District, Padang City on Saturday, December 3, 2022 with a total of 46 participants consisting of grade 3 and 4 students.

Abstract

Cervical cancer is the second largest malignancy after breast cancer in Indonesia. The incidence is increasing every year. In the United States and several other countries, the incidence of cervical cancer has decreased due to public health services and lifestyle changes as well as early implementation through pap smears. In developing countries, the mortality and incidence of cervical cancer has also decreased by 34-80% in the last 50 years. This is sufficient because the period of occurrence of cervical cancer is long and 90-95% of pathological changes in the epithelium can be determined through the Pap smear test. However, in developing countries, health services are still limited and there are no screening programs, cervical cancer is still the leading cause of death in women. Cervical cancer is often diagnosed at an advanced stage and the survival rate is low. On the other hand, the cure rate for early cervical cancer is very high. Therefore, it is important for women to undergo regular pap smears test so that the health condition of the cervix can be monitored and cervical cancer can be detected early.

Abstract

Waste is still a problem in the city of Bandar Lampung. Where the Environmental Service of the city of Bandar Lampung in the Beringin Jaya sub-district, Kemiling District, has succeeded in running the Garbage Bank organization since 2019. However, the Environmental Service Garbage Bank (DLH) in the Beringin Jaya sub-district, Kemiling District, Bandar Lampung City has not yet been operating optimally. One reason is that there is no data on waste minimization in Beringin Jaya Village, so that the amount of organic waste and inorganic waste produced can be calculated. The purpose of this community service activity is to find out an overview of the Beringin Jaya Environmental Service Garbage Bank and find out the amount of waste minimization in Bringin Jaya Village before it is disposed of in the TPA. The research methodology is as follows: Preparation, Implementation and Evaluation. The result of community service is that the current operation of the Bringin Jaya Village waste bank is making compost, packing the compost and the amount of waste generation in Beringin Jaya Village is 7,040 kg per day, consisting of 4,928 kg organic waste/day.

Abstract

The map is a description of the appearance on the surface of the earth, which is very helpful for the user to conduct an initial study of an area. Map sources can come from satellite-based field measurements, namely GPS and Avenza Maps. The purpose of this activity is to increase knowledge and skills in data collection in the field using GPS and Avenza Maps. The method used in this activity is in the form of lectures and direct practice, which is divided into three stages. These stages are observation to identify problems, provision of material about GPS and Avenza Maps, followed by direct practice in the field, and evaluation to determine the success rate of the training. The results of the activity showed that the level of knowledge and understanding of the participants increased, with the indicator that the participants were able to operate both the GPS and the Avenza Maps application themselves when taking coordinates in the field.

Abstract

Transfer from high temperature to low temperature to have the same temperature, either directly (without separation) or indirectly (the separation). Heat exchanger is a heat exchanger that is useful for changing the temperature and phase of a type of fluid. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the performance of heat exchangers. This performance evaluation greatly affects the performen of the heat exchanger. Parameters measured to know performen is the determination of the value of Rd, presure drop, and efficiency of the tool. While the necessary data is taken by direct observation. The purpose of the evaluation was to determine the current performance of the heat exchanger, especially HE-02 at the PPSDM Migas CEPU refinery. From the results of calculations that have been done obtained the results of performance evaluation of heat exchanger 02 is the value of effesiensi 95.275%, the value of faouling factor (Rd) is 0.417 , the pressure drop for the shell is 0.046 Psi and the value of the pressure droop on the tube is 0.005 Psi..

Abstract

This service aims to analyze the effectiveness of Informatics Engineering basic training in increasing and developing student productivity. In the era of information technology that continues to develop, a basic understanding of Informatics Engineering is becoming increasingly important for students in various fields of study and careers. However, there is still tension in the understanding and application of Informatics Engineering concepts among students.  This service includes a series of activities, including initial data collection to identify the level of understanding and application of Informatics Engineering among students, as well as developing and implementing basic training programs that suit their needs.  Thus, this service makes a positive contribution to society in increasing the understanding and application of Informatics Engineering among students. It is hoped that the increased understanding and development of Informatics Engineering skills will equip students with relevant knowledge and skills in dealing with the demands of an increasingly digital world of work.

Abstract

Road development planning is a type of infrastructure development, which functions as a fulfillment of one of the community's needs. Road construction includes the process of opening traffic spaces to connect one area to another. Road construction aims to get comfortable, safe and economical roads for the people who use them. Thus, it makes it easier for road users to reach a location and produces a high level of comfort and safety. The construction of the sirtu road and complementary buildings in hamlet III, Oemasi Village will greatly assist the people in Oemasi Village to expedite the flow of distribution of goods and services and economic activities in Oemasi Village. This requires good planning. This prepared plan is a solution for the Oemasi Village government to build roads according to community needs with a transparent and accountable budget.
