Abstract

The economy and education are important aspects of the community but the other most important is health because health can affect economy and social productivity. Health can be imbalanced due to a poor lifestyle, diet, and lack of physical activity which will trigger various non-communicable diseases. The aim of this service community is to provide understanding on disease, good diet and daily physical activity. The method used is leaflets, posters, and short lectures. The result of this service is that many respondents are elderly. With this service we hope that in the future the elderly can begin to increase their physical activity, consume healthy food and routine health checks to increase the quality of life.

Abstract

Diarrhea is still an important health problem, because it contributes to around 4,800 deaths of children under five worldwide. With an incidence of 11%, diarrhea is the second cause of death in children under five in Indonesia. Prevention and control of diarrhea mainly through the intervention of drinking water and healthy latrines. Community service aims to change the behavior of open defecation, with four stages: building understanding, common perception, counseling, and assisting target households. At the end of the stage, an evaluation is carried out to assess success, obstacles, and follow-up plans. The concept of "sharing roles" was also developed for all service partners. Community service activities resulted in 16 healthy latrines, which were accessed by 21 households. This result indicates that all households in the Mider Kelurahan have access to healthy latrines. The application of the concept of "sharing roles" is able to produce outputs according to the target, form a mutual cooperation work system for beneficiaries, and improve values. A joint commitment is needed in carrying out community empowerment, and the involvement of other parties broadly.

Abstract

The purpose of community service is to provide counseling and training regarding the application of learning media that teachers can use to evaluate learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This community service is carried out at SMP Islam Hidayatul Athfal which is located at Jalan Persahabatan No.9, Cinere Village, Cinere District, Depok City, West Java Province. Methods for implementing community service include: 1) Observation stage, at this stage the PkM implementing team makes observations at schools. The PkM Team asks permission from the school principal, determines the schedule and discusses the facilities to be used, 2) Planning stage, at this stage the PkM Team conducts debriefing and prepares PkM proposals, 3) Preparatory stage, at this stage the PkM Team communicates again with the school to determine number of participants, place and method of training, 4) Implementation stage, at this stage the PkM activities take place, 5) Discussion Stage, at this stage the PkM Team and the teacher conduct a question and answer session, 6) Evaluation Phase, the teacher submits the results of the training to the PkM Team through e-mail. The result of this community service is that SMP Islam Hidayatul Athfal teachers can operate the quizizz and wordwall applications.

Abstract

Along with the times and the growing economy, more and more students are interested in starting their own business. The student entrepreneurship program exists as a forum for developing entrepreneurial skills and helping to hone their potential, so that students can become agents of change that have a positive impact on society. This program is expected to create more jobs and increase student independence in entrepreneurship. This program is held in semester 5 where it will be implemented from September to December 2022. The product produced is aromatherapy. Activities include the stages of planning, implementing, evaluating and analyzing the results of activities which include financial, marketing and production factors.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship education in Indonesian higher education institutions still lacks clear standards. Additionally, educators lack the necessary competence to introduce students to new perspectives on entrepreneurial values. This community engagement aims to implement standardized entrepreneurship education in higher education institutions, focusing on the theme Best Practice – Business Startup Strategies for Students through the introduction of the effectuation concept and the business model canvas. The participants of this activity consist of 63 students and 5 lecturers from STIE YPUP Makassar. The outcome of this activity is the students' ability to apply these concepts to generate new business ideas. Seventeen groups were formed, and from these groups, three unique and feasible business ideas were selected. The implementation of this activity involved presentations, discussions, and mentoring. The significant impact of this community engagement is evident in the high level of enthusiasm and the creation of creative and innovative business ideas during the two-day training, serving as evidence of its success with the involved partners.

Abstract

Salah satu tantangan yang sangat penting yang dihadapi oleh hampir semua kota-kota di Indonesia adalah masalah pengelolaan sampah. Meningkatnya produksi sampah terutama sampah organik di Jakarta selama ini tidak dibarengi dengan pengelolaan yang maksimal. Wilayah Kecamatan Johar Baru memiliki masalah pengelolaan sampah yaitu terbatasnya kapasitas TPA, tidak adanya akses angkut sampah ke beberapa lokasi dan tingkat kepedulian masyarakat terhadap pemanfaatan sampah masih rendah. Selain itu masih banyak kondisi ekonomi masyarakat yang rendah, tingkat pengangguran yang tinggi dan lingkungan yang kumuh. Oleh karena itu diperlukan suatu upaya pemanfaatan dan atau mereduksi sampah organik yang juga memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberdayakan masyarakat dalam pengelolaan sampah organik dan budidaya maggot Lalat Black Soldier Fly untuk pakan ternak sebagai salah satu teknologi reduksi sampah di Kecamatan Johar Baru tahun 2021. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah dengan melakukan sosialisasi dan edukasi pengelolaan sampah, pelatihan dan praktek pemanfaatan sampah organik sebagai media larva Black Soldier Fly (BSF), dan secara langsung mempraktekkan budidaya maggot. Proses kegiatan dipantau dan dievaluasi agar dapat tercapai upaya reduksi sampah organik secara mandiri dan terbentuk bank maggot BSF.

Abstract

The purpose of this PKM is to provide understanding and knowledge about productive UPK management, based on the phenomenon that occurred at UPK Cicurug Village in Majalengka Regency, West Java, namely regarding strategies for handling problem loans through credit analysis training and strengthening organizational governance through organizational training, as well as encouraging the creation of good governance manage UPKs that are competitive in accordance with the nature of their presence, namely to improve the economic welfare of the village community. The PKM method used is by providing training related to financial management and credit analysis. It is hoped that this PKM activity will provide UPK members with an understanding in the field of financial management that can increase and a change in mindset for the community and UPK managers to be more professional and able to run the UPK organization well through community economic empowerment programs.

Abstract

The definition of Marketing is a system for carrying out marketing activities as a whole starting from product planning, pricing, promotion to designing product distribution strategies to satisfy consumers. Today, we must often hear the word Internet and we tend to be more familiar with terms such as E-Commerce, E-government and others. The letter "E" here refers to the word "Electronic", but is more widely used in the context of the internet. The goal is to introduce the use of the internet to the people of Jombang Kramat & provide an overview of useful and profitable applications for the people of Jombang Kramat. We hope that the knowledge we convey can be utilized as well as possible.

Abstract

In accordance with the title of the community service program, this research aims to improve CV (Curiculum Vitae) that is attractive to Ciseeng 1 Public High School students using the Canva application. The data source comes from Public Relations at Ciseeng 1 Public Vocational High School, namely Mrs. Rahmawati Maela S, Pd. and 36 students of class XII IPS 3. The implementation method used to make a CV & Portfolio is in the form of training using Canva for students of SMK Negeri 1 Ciseeng. This activity is supported by presentations, question and answer sessions and of course hands-on practice in XII IPS 3 class at SMK Negeri 1 Ciseeng. The purpose of implementing this community service program is to expand the network for students, train them to use the knowledge gained at lectures to print blue ink student services in the community. It is hoped that informatics engineering students at Pamulang University will have a strong desire to directly engage in the community as agents of change.

Abstract

In social life, cases of sexual violence against women and children often occur, especially sexual violence against children, the issuance of Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law Number 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection, and Law Number 12 of 2014 2022 Concerning Crimes of Sexual Violence (TPKS), providing guarantees and protection to children and women as victims of fornication. The rise of acts of violence against children and women that have occurred recently in the form of physical, psychological and sexual violence, not receiving adequate legal protection and human rights, including low legal knowledge, is one of the factors that children and women often become victims of. . The frequent occurrence of criminal acts against children and women is one of the reasons the service team is conducting community service in the form of free legal counseling for the community in Oenuntono Village, East Amabi Oefeto District, Kupang Regency. One of the backgrounds of the community service team in Oenuntono Village is that higher education institutions are obliged to organize education and teaching, research, and community service. According to the law on higher education, community service is an activity of the academic community that utilizes science and technology to advance social welfare and educate the nation's life. This activity aims to carry out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. This service uses the counseling method, and free sharing of legal knowledge which is carried out by presenting materials related to sexual violence against women and children, to residents of the Oenuntono village community, Amabi Oefeto Timur District, Kupang Regency, by a team of devotees from Faculty of Law, University of Nusa Cendana, Kupang. Based on the results of the service implementation, it can be concluded that; 1. Residents of the village of Oenuntono, Amabi Oefeto Timur District, Kupang Regency, are members of the community who are law savvy. 2. The people of Oenuntono Village, East Amabi Oefeto District, apparently have many problems related to the law, (especially sexual violence against women and children). Residents of the Oenuntono village community, Amabi Oefeto Timur District really need adequate information and legal knowledge related to rules related to sexual violence against women and children so they can know the steps in taking legal action if sexual violence against women and children occurs 4. The presence of a service team can make a positive contribution in terms of providing free legal understanding for the people of Uenuntono village, Amabi Oefeto Timur District, through legal counseling activities.
