Abstract

Literasi bencana adalah pengetahuan penting untuk masa depan pembangunan berkelanjutan di Indonesia. Karena lokasi negara berada pada tingkat seismik tinggi dan potensi bencana lainnya, masyarakat harus memiliki pengetahuan dasar dan kemampuan untuk memitigasi risiko. Depok, Jabodetabek, dan Jawa Barat secara umum dianggap rentan terhadap risiko ini, tidak hanya karena aspek geografis tetapi juga karena padatnya penduduk. Santri dan seluruh komunitas pesantren dapat memiliki peran mendasar dalam kesiapsiagaan bencana ini. Jumlah mereka yang signifikan di seluruh kabupaten, kota di Indonesia akan menjadi aset penting bagi mitigasi bencana nasional. Kegiatan pembinaan literasi ini berlangsung di panti asuhan Pesantren Yayasan Al Kamilah, Serua, Depok, melalui diskusi interaktif dan kuesioner untuk mengukur pemahaman peserta.

Abstract

Microsoft Office is an application that is widely used both in school and in the world of work, this application consists of many applications in it and the most popular are Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint. These three applications are important because every school or work activity or assignment cannot be separated from this program or application, especially in making reports in the form of correspondence, tables or mathematical calculations and making presentations. The problem that occurs at SMA Negeri 22 Kabupaten Tangerang is that many class XII students who want to end their schooling are still many who cannot operate Microsoft Office because high school does not have Computer, even though these three applications are very important and will often be used when they work or continue studying. Therefore, Pamulang University Lecturers carry out PKM activities in this place, the goal is that class XII students of SMA Negeri 22 Kabupaten Tangerang have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint as well as skills in operating these three applications. With this training, it is hoped that class XII students at SMA Negeri 22 Kabupaten Tangerang will have provisions after graduation and be able to compete in the world of work in the future or these skills can be used to do college assignments for those who continue their studies. Basic material about Microsoft Office, both Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Powerpoint, such as making correspondence automatically, making good and correct reports, making tables, using cell formats, mathematical calculations as well as advanced material such as the IF function, Hlookup, Vlookup are taught in this way. regular or automated systems as well as how to make interesting presentations are also taught. So that students and students have the option to work on various kinds of problems that exist quickly and carefully.

Abstract

Cyberbullying is a type of internet bullying that has become increasingly frequent among children and teenagers as technology has advanced. As a result, parents must be knowledgeable about cyberbullying in order to support their children and adolescents in interacting with the virtual world, especially if one day they experience cyberbullying. One effort that can be made is to provide education about cyberbullying and get to know the various terms related to it. This educational activity regarding cyberbullying is carried out through community service activities by lecturers from Bina Sarana Informatika University, to members of the Communication Forum of the Taklim Council at Jami' Al Muttaqin Mosque, Central Jakarta. The method used is Community-Based Participatory Research Design. This community service activity yielded great outcomes since the participants were able to identify the terminology used in cyberbullying. The participants also showed enthusiasm during the activity. As an implication of this research, it is expected that similar educational activities will be frequently organised by related parties in the community as a form of digital literacy for smarter and wiser use of technology.

Abstract

Untuk menjaga kesehatan tubuh, manusia tidak hanya membutuhkan protein dan kalori, tetapi juga vitamin dan mineral yang banyak terdapat pada sayuran dan buah-buahan. Konsumsi makanan dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor seperti kemampuan keuangan, ketersediaan bahan, dan pengetahuan tentang manfaat mengkonsumsi sayur dan buah. Kesadaran yang rendah akan pentingnya konsumsi sayur dan buah pada remaja dapat menghambat pertumbuhan dan perkembangan yang dapat memberikan dampak negatif dalam keberhasilan gizi remaja. Beberapa faktor penghambat konsumsi sayur dan buah diantaranya meliputi rasa yang tidak enak, tampilan tidak menarik, tidak tersedia dan kurang pembiasaan makan sayur dan buah. Remaja merupakan asset bangsa yang akan melakukan kegiatan produktif dan persiapan proses reproduksi untuk memperoleh keturunan yang sehat dan bebas stunting. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan mengubah perilaku remaja untuk mau mengkonsumsi buah dan sayur sehingga dapat memberikan dampak kesehatan yang lebih baik di masa depan, terutama dalam hal pencegahan stunting.

Abstract

This community service is carried out with the aim of providing assistance on the importance of terminating athlete performance at the beginning before preparing a training program. This community service was carried out at the PSHT Kubu Raya Pencak Silat College at the same time as the Parit Gadoh Development Program, Sungai Kakap District. This service was carried out in several stages including: formulation of partner problems, literature review, interviews, questionnaires, implementation of activities, and FGD. The Community Service that is carried out aims to educate athletes, trainers at the pencak silat training center about the importance of knowing the initial athlete performance before giving training. So that the training given is not only regular but also measurable. The results of the community service carried out were an increase in the trainer's knowledge, and an increase in physical fitness from the training program made by looking at the athlete's initial performance.

Abstract

Indonesian anemic proportions in pregnant women were 48,9% in 2018 report from Statistic Registration of Republic of Indonesia. About 50% of anemia is caused by iron deficiency. This poses a severe public health problem in Indonesia since anemia in pregnancy contributes to 16 – 40% maternal deaths. It also causes morbidity during gestation, delivery, post and perinatal not only to the mother but also the baby. A cross-sectional study was conducted by investigating the level of hemoglobin in pregnant women at the Center of Science Technology and Community Development Nagrak. Other parameters measured include middle upper arm circumference (MUAC), body mass index (BMI, using categories from WHO Asia Pacific). Descriptive analysis and t-test was conducted using Microsoft Excel 2022. At the time of the study, 24 pregnant women participated. Twelve women were found anemic (50%, CI 95% 9,7 – 11,2). The mean level of hemoglobin amongst the anemic population were 9,14 (CI 95% 8,3 – 10). The study also found 13% of the population were underweight, and 17% had MUAC of less than 23,5 cm. This study finds 17% of anemic women were underweight (p value 0,000). Total of 25% of anemic women had MUAC of less than 23,5 cm (p value 0,000). Anemia in pregnancy is prevalent in women at the Center of Science Technology and Community Development Nagrak. Other associating parameters include BMI and MUAC. Thus, iterating the importance of routine education and close support for iron supplementation within the community.

Abstract

Al-Ikhwan Middle School is an integrated Islamic middle school situated in Hamlet XIII-B, Jalan Location No. 38, Bangun Sari, Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. Al-Ikhwan Middle School is an integrated Islamic institution that follows the principles of Islamic education based on the Qur'an and the Sunnah. In a broad sense, this school is considered to meet general educational standards. Given the competitive nature of attracting students, a crucial factor for educational institutions, schools consistently strive to create appealing aspects that entice potential students to enroll. To boost the enrollment of new students at Al-Ikhwan Middle School, an approach to enhance student satisfaction and foster loyalty within the school is deemed essential. This can be achieved through conducting counseling sessions that underscore the significance of elevating student contentment and fostering allegiance to the institution.

Abstract

Partners for community service activities in the Community-Based Empowerment (PBM) scheme with the scope of Community Partnership Empowerment (PKM) were farmer groups (poktan) with the name Sari Tani Rejo Satu which was located in Rejosari village, Jatirejo sub-district, Mojokerto district, East Java province . The problems faced by partners in the field of production technology, partners still don't have rice field water pumps, so far it's from Poktan members, and the cost of fuel for water pumps was still high (gasoline or diesel), resulting in higher production costs. The aim of this PKM was to overcome the problems of partners in the field of production technology, namely the procurement of dual-fuel rice field water pumps (gasoline and gas), so that production costs are expected to decrease and ultimately have an impact on increased productivity.

Abstract

Natural orchids are one of the original flora collections in Liwa Botanical Gardens that need to be preserved. Based on the results of our previous research, it is known that some natural orchids show symptoms of disease infection. The Liwa Botanical Gardens do not yet know a safe disease infection control technique. Disease control is still using pesticides that are harmful to the environment. The results of our previous research have resulted in new methods and solutions for disease control through a web-based expert system. This method was considered very helpful for diagnosis but was considered inefficient, so the Android-based "Orchid Expert" application was developed. This Community Service Dissemination of Research Results (PKM-DHR) activity is a continuation of our previous research results. The problem-solving formulation method is carried out through direct counselling and training at the Liwa Botanical Gardens. The activity was carried out on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, with a total of 30 participants. The results of the training activities at the demonstration stage of downloading and using the application show that the accuracy of the system diagnostic results is valid, with an accuracy rate of 92.9%. This can be interpreted as meaning that this application can be applied in society. The results of this activity indicate that the Liwa Botanical Garden management understands and is able to apply the development of natural orchid disease control methods as a conservation effort. Furthermore, the Liwa Botanical Garden is also expected to be able to independently diagnose and control natural orchid disease infections.

Abstract

Workplace is a place that students will enter after graduating from college. The many problems in the world of work make prospective workers must be more mature in planning careers in order to be able to face various challenges in the world of work. Knowledge about career planning is needed for prospective workers, including final year students of the Pertiwi Tourism Academy. One way to strengthen students about career planning is with lecture techniques accompanied by game techniques. The mentorship was attended by 21 eighth semester students of Pertiwi Tourism Academy. After the mentorship was carried out, the results showed that 61.4% of participants felt more inspired and had career planning after graduation.
