Abstract

The Tegalwangi rattan industry, as one of the traditional industries with high cultural value, faces various challenges in the era of globalization. One proposed solution is the training in the use of rattan sales information systems to enhance the competitiveness and efficiency of this industry. This Community Engagement aims to analyze the situation of the rattan industry in Tegalwangi, identify the challenges it faces, and design a community engagement approach to help address these issues. The training has brought significant benefits to rattan business operators in Tegalwangi. With the implementation of the Rattan Sales Information System, they can optimize the sales process, improve operational efficiency, and expand their market reach. This system also enables them to be more responsive to customer demands and needs. Additionally, training participants have gained a deeper understanding of information technology and how to apply it to their businesses. They have learned how to manage sales data more effectively, analyze sales trends, and make decisions based on accurate and up-to-date information. With this training, rattan business operators in Tegalwangi become more competitive in an increasingly competitive market. They can compete more effectively through the improvement of service quality and products, as well as adaptation to technological advancements.

Abstract

Tegal Wangi Village is a partner location in this service. A case that often occurs in this village is difficulty in accessing health information and education services. The Tegal Wangi Village community has long faced obstacles in obtaining relevant information regarding their health conditions, especially when it comes to questions about their health conditions. Apart from that, educational issues are also the focus of this service, with gaps in access to education affecting the understanding and knowledge of the people in this village. Based on the discussion of community service that has been described, then the conclusion with the theme "Assistance in the Development of the Etakon Application in Tegal Wangi Village, Cirebon Regency" is as follows. The Tegal Wangi Village website is successful implemented using the 5 stages of the Waterfall model, namely planning, analysis, design, implementation and testing. Planning was carried out by collecting data, which resulted in 4 functional requirements and 2 user access. Web page design using the Data Flow Diagram model. Database design using the Entity model Relationship Diagrams. The implementation phase is carried out using the Laravel framework with a Model, View and Controller based development scheme. The application that has been built has been tested using the black box testing method in accordance with the user's access rights. Based on the results of black box testing, it can be seen that the expected results from testing items and deleting data are valid scenarios. Then, community service activities can help village officials become digitally literate in accordance with the target of Cirebon district.

Abstract

Cemara Kulon Village, Losarang District, Indramayu Regency is a village located on the north coast of the Java Sea. The name Cemara Kulon itself comes from the name of the Percantilan hamlet which used to be part of the main village, namely Cemara Village, which is now part of the Cantigi District area. The name Cemara comes from the name of a tree which is said to have previously lived in the Cemara Kulon area. The results of assistance in using the QRIS code were carried out 1 month after the assistance was carried out in using the QRIS code, after collecting the data, data reduction techniques or data analysis were carried out which were received by small business actors. before using the QR code and after small business actors use the QR code in the payment process. Before assisting small business actors, they only used cash media or cash payments, which meant that some consumers who were used to using cashless or non-cash media had to make payments in cash, especially in the current era where payment media mostly use transfer media such as m banking, Dana, QRIS code and so on. After providing assistance to small business actors, it is easier to provide services to consumers. Before using the QRIS code, small business actors are confused when someone wants to pay cashless. Consumers are increasing in buying several products from small businesses due to payment via QRIS code. The evaluation carried out after providing training and implementation assistance, there are several things that must be re-evaluated, including the need for scaled or gradual training or assistance for the use of the QRIS code due to the increasingly developing era of digitalization. Small business actors and producers must provide assistance or undergo training on the importance of using the QRIS code so that small business actors are not left behind by the era of digitalization.

Abstract

Cisantana Kuningan Village, in carrying out its entrepreneurship, has used the internet, but the use of this technology has not been optimal. The problem faced by partners is that the use of information technology is still not optimal as a promotional medium for their entrepreneurial products. Partners' limited knowledge and ability to use internet media and e-commerce media is limited to using the WhatsApp application. The solution offered by the PM team is to solve the problems faced by partners by holding training on the use of e-commerce media literacy technology as a product promotion medium. The PM implementation method consists of field surveys, permits, problem analysis, problem solutions, implementation, evaluation and reporting. The output results that will be achieved in this activity are increasing the ability of partners in utilizing information technology and the ability of partners in creating promotional media.

Abstract

Cibuntu Village, Kuningan, is the partner location that is the focus of this project. A case that often occurs in Cibuntu Village is the accumulation of waste that is not managed properly. This rubbish is thrown anywhere, causing environmental pollution, attracting nuisance animals, and harming the health of local people. Some areas are often flooded due to blockage of drainage channels by rubbish. Automatic trash cans are a technological innovation that aims to facilitate and increase efficiency in waste management. By using sensors and automatic mechanisms, this trash can can detect and classify types of waste independently. Automatic trash cans can be part of a smart city concept that uses technology to improve the quality of life of residents.

Abstract

Elections are important moments in a democratic country, but they can often trigger conflict and division in society. Likewise, social media, such as YouTube, has played an increasingly large role in disseminating political information. Counseling on preventing post-election divisions via YouTube in Kertasura Village is a community service initiative that aims to overcome potential post-election social conflicts. In this situation analysis, we will explore partner locations and cases that have occurred, analyze social and cultural aspects in Kertasura Village. The results of community service regarding socialization media videos to prevent post-election divisions based on explainer animations can increase the sense of tolerance and respect for differences of opinion among millennials. Producing socialization media videos based on explainer animations as a socialization media innovation to prevent division after the election that is acceptable among millennials.

Abstract

The Millennial Generation, born between the 1980s and early 2000s, plays an essential role in today’s workplace and society. They grew up in the era of information technology and are connected globally. Therefore, they have great potential to make creative contributions, collaborate and think critically. This community service aims to improve the primary skills of the millennial generation, especially creativity, communication, collaboration and critical thinking. These skills need to be improved so that the millennial generation can play a more effective role in facing the challenges of the contemporary world. The service modality used is by holding seminars and training for class XII of SMA Negeri 1 Anyer, Banten. Case studies are conducted to explore examples of best practices that can be implemented to improve these skills. The results of this activity show that training is crucial to improving the skills of the millennial generation. Apart from that, the application of digital technology and project-based learning can also help develop Millennial generation’s creativity, communication, collaboration and critical thinking abilities. This activity makes an essential contribution to understanding how to improve the skills of the millennial generation so that it will positively impact the development of these crucial skills. The millennial generation can be a more effective driver of change to overcome various challenges in the era of globalization and continuous technological development.

Abstract

The implementation of outreach activities at Institut Transportasi dan Logistik (ITL) Trisakti focuses on a holistic approach to facing the Coronavirus Disease-19 (COVID-19) pandemic. The main problem faced by the ITL Trisakti Academic Community is a lack of comprehensive understanding of health protocols and the long-term impacts of the pandemic. Facing globalization and the need to adapt to the pandemic, the academic community needs to be equipped with knowledge and skills to face these challenges. The purpose of this activity is to increase the awareness and knowledge of the ITL Trisakti Academic Community about COVID-19through mentoring and counseling. The methods used include outreach, training, mentoring, and evaluation during the November 2020 period. The results of this activity show that the understanding and awareness of the academic community have increased, and the implementation of health protocols has improved on campus.

Abstract

Cendikia Vocational School, located in Cirebon City, is the main partner in this service. As a vocational high school, they faced various obstacles during the pandemic. One of them is the sudden shift from face-to-face learning to distance learning. This creates challenges in providing quality learning experiences. In some cases, students have difficulty accessing materials and interacting with teachers, which affects learning effectiveness. This Community Service highlights the importance of innovation in learning amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Learning media development training at Cendikia Vocational School, Cirebon City has proven that a new approach to the teaching and learning process is able to provide concrete solutions in overcoming the challenges of distance learning. The results of this training showed significant improvements in student engagement, the quality of learning materials, and the effectiveness of communication between teachers and students. In addition, the use of technology and digital media has enabled wider and more flexible learning accessibility for students, even in difficult times like these. However, active commitment and cooperation from all relevant parties is needed to ensure the continuity and improvement of this learning innovation. Support from schools, parents and local governments in providing adequate facilities and infrastructure, as well as ongoing training for teachers in the use of technology are important factors in the successful implementation of this innovation.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed the educational paradigm globally, presenting major challenges for educational institutions throughout the world. Cendikia Vocational High School (SMK) in Cirebon City is no exception. This research aims to provide an in-depth analysis of the situation at Cendikia Vocational School, Cirebon City during the COVID-19 pandemic, especially related to the implementation of Hybrid Learning Training (Darmin et al., 2022). In this analysis, we will explore partner locations and cases that have occurred, social and cultural aspects that influence education, specific problems faced, methods or approaches used in community service, and the implications of the results of this service. The results of community service, the COVID-19 pandemic has forced the education sector to adapt and evolve quickly. One significant response was the introduction of a hybrid learning system at Cendikia Vocational School, Cirebon City. By combining online and face-to-face learning, this approach allows students to remain involved in the learning process even in limited situations. The results of this Hybrid Learning training show that this learning method is able to meet students' needs effectively. Students experience increases in active engagement, ability to adapt to technology, and independent learning skills. Apart from that, educators also reported that they were able to provide material in a more structured and interactive manner. The experience of implementing Hybrid Learning at Cendikia Vocational School, Cirebon City provides valuable insight for the education sector in the future. This shows that despite major challenges such as the pandemic, innovation and adaptation are key to ensuring that education continues to provide maximum benefits for students. By continuing to improve and develop hybrid learning models, we can prepare future generations to face challenges more prepared and capable.
