Abstract

The textile industry is one of the strategic sectors in Indonesia's economy, with great potential to attract investment. However, the dependency on imported raw materials has become a major obstacle in enhancing the competitiveness of this industry. This study aims to analyze strategies for increasing investment in the textile sector through strengthening the upstream industry and managing local raw materials. The research method used is a literature review with a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis, utilizing data from Google Scholar from 2012 to 2025. Out of 30 initial articles found, only 17 were selected based on strict criteria. The findings show that strengthening the upstream industry through increased local raw material production, the development of alternative fiber innovations, and the implementation of investment incentive policies can enhance the self-sufficiency of the textile sector and reduce dependency on imports. Various case studies discussed show that investment in research and development (R&D), the development of textile industrial zones, and the implementation of a circular economy can improve production efficiency and global competitiveness. The implications of this study include the enhancement of national textile industry resilience, job creation, and strengthening sustainable policies in managing local raw materials. Therefore, support from the government, industry players, and academics is needed to implement appropriate strategies to strengthen the upstream industry and attract investment in the textile sector.

Abstract

The phenomenon of quiet quitting has become a significant challenge in the modern workplace, where employees perform only the minimum required tasks without showing initiative or deeper engagement within the organization. This study aims to analyze innovative human resource management (HRM) strategies to address quiet quitting and enhance employee engagement and retention. The research employs a qualitative literature review and descriptive analysis, with data collected from Google Scholar and credible websites between 2018 and 2025. From an initial selection of 40 articles, 24 were chosen through a rigorous screening process based on relevance and source credibility. The findings indicate that effective strategies to mitigate quiet quitting include work flexibility, technology-based training, transformational leadership, performance-based incentives, and technology utilization in employee engagement monitoring. Case studies from various Indonesian companies, such as Gojek, Shopee, Tokopedia, Bukalapak, Unilever, and Telkom Indonesia, demonstrate that the implementation of these strategies can enhance employee motivation, job satisfaction, and loyalty. This study provides implications for organizations to adopt more innovative and employee-centered HRM policies to create a healthier and more productive work environment.

Abstract

SMEs play a strategic role in the economy but are highly vulnerable to economic crises. This study aims to analyze SME resilience strategies in navigating economic downturns through business model adaptation, product diversification, and resource optimization. Using a literature review approach with qualitative methods and descriptive analysis, data were collected from Google Scholar and other credible sources for the period 1957–2025. From the initial 50 articles identified, a rigorous selection process resulted in 34 relevant articles. The findings indicate that SMEs capable of adjusting their business models to market dynamics have a higher chance of survival. Product diversification has been proven effective in reducing business risks, while resource optimization enhances operational efficiency and competitiveness. The theories of Organizational Resilience, Business Model Canvas, and Resource-Based View serve as the foundation for understanding the factors influencing SME resilience. Case studies demonstrate that Indonesian SMEs adopting digital innovations and adaptive strategies perform better in times of crisis. This study provides implications for business practitioners, policymakers, and academics in designing more adaptive strategies to enhance SME sustainability.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital transformation has urged Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to adapt by leveraging digital marketplace platforms as a primary strategy for expanding their market reach and maintaining business sustainability. This study is a literature review employing a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis to explore how strategic collaboration between MSMEs and digital marketplaces can be optimized within the context of Indonesia's digital economy. Data were collected from 35 scholarly articles and credible sources published between 2014 and 2025, with a strict selection process narrowing them down to 17 relevant articles for analysis. The results indicate that synergistic and innovative collaborations with digital platforms such as Tokopedia, Shopee, and GrabFood significantly contribute to market expansion, operational efficiency, and the strengthening of MSME brand identities. Case studies including Brodo, Kopi Kenangan, and Maicih illustrate successful collaborative practices through digital features, data-driven promotion, and continuous training. These findings highlight the importance of digital literacy, strategic planning, and cross-sectoral support in building an inclusive and sustainable digital ecosystem for MSMEs in Indonesia.

Abstract

The phenomenon of generational diversity in today’s workforce has created complex social dynamics that often lead to conflicts affecting organizational effectiveness. This study aims to explore in depth the managerial adaptation strategies employed to address and manage multigenerational conflicts in the workplace by examining the dynamics, challenges, and transformational practices in modern human resource management (HRM). A qualitative approach is applied using a literature review method and descriptive analysis of 21 selected scholarly articles published between 2010 and 2024, sourced from Google Scholar and other credible academic platforms. The study reveals that managerial approaches grounded in leadership flexibility, intergenerational understanding, effective communication, and the strengthening of inclusive organizational cultures are crucial in reducing conflicts and fostering intergenerational collaboration. The integration of theories such as Situational Leadership, Conflict Management, Social Exchange, and Diversity Management reinforces the critical role of managers in transforming conflict into opportunities for team performance development. Case studies from several Indonesian organizations, including PT Telkom Indonesia and Bank BCA, demonstrate that adaptive strategies can significantly enhance productivity, employee retention, and cross-generational innovation. This research offers a conceptual contribution to the development of modern HRM literature and provides practical guidance for organizations in designing work policies that are responsive to generational diversity.

Abstract

This study aims to reconstruct the adaptive performance management model within the context of flexible and hybrid work dynamics in the digital era. The research approach used is a literature review with a qualitative method and descriptive analysis. Data was collected from Google Scholar and several credible websites for the period 1991–2025, initially comprising 30 articles, which were then filtered down to 17 most relevant articles through a stringent selection process. The research findings show that traditional performance management models need to transform into more adaptive systems by integrating agile principles, the use of digital technology, self-determination theory, goal-setting theory, and dynamic capability theory. In hybrid and flexible work environments, performance is more effectively assessed using an outcome-based approach, continuous feedback, and real-time digital platforms. This research also highlights the importance of new competencies for managers to manage remote team performance and the need to prioritize employee psychological well-being within the adaptive performance management system. Case studies from various multinational companies support these findings, where flexible performance management approaches have enhanced productivity and employee engagement. This research is expected to serve as a foundation for organizations to develop performance management systems that are more relevant to the demands of modern work.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of transformational leadership in improving the performance of insurance companies. Transformational leadership is known for its ability to inspire and motivate employees to achieve organisational goals, create positive change, and improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Using a literature review approach and descriptive analysis, this study collected data from 28 articles published between 1999 and 2025 through Google Scholar sources. The results show that leaders who adopt a transformational leadership style are able to create an organisational culture that supports innovation and creativity, improves the quality of customer relationships, and drives overall performance improvement. The implication of this study shows that insurance companies need to pay attention to transformational leadership development to improve the competitiveness and sustainability of the company in a highly competitive industry. This research also provides suggestions for integrating leadership training and technology adoption in employee development strategies.
