Abstract

Hinduism is the religion that uses the most symbols in its rituals. The presence of this symbol is used as an instrument to connect with God to increase sraddha and bhakti. Symbols in Hinduism act as religious symbols and are sacred objects because they go through a sacralization process (pasupati). One of the symbols that is often used in the implementation of Hindu rituals is the tridatu bracelet. The tridatu bracelet is a sacred bracelet, which consists of three colors, namely: red, black, and white. These three colors represent the manifestation of God as the Tri Murti concept. The values contained in the use of tridatu bracelets by Hindus include religious value, communication value, aesthetic value, calmness and comfort value, and militancy value. The use of the tridatu bracelet is interpreted as a medium of self-realization that can foster awareness of his identity as a Hindu. The tridatu bracelet is a representation of Tri Murti, Tri Kona, Tri Pramana, and Tri Kaya Parisudha which can raise people's awareness. The use of tridatu bracelets also acts as a medium of cultural communication. The use of tridatu threads in everyday life can indirectly construct an identity. An identity that states if the user is a Hindu. The tridatu bracelet also contains aesthetic value because of the beauty of the resulting color combination that produces a positive aura or vibration from the Tri Murti power symbol. People who use the tridatu bracelet will feel safer and calmer and feel protected from negative things, especially in niskala. Hindus can show their militancy by presenting a marker in religious integrity and also as a differentiator with other religious people through using tridatu bracelets.

Abstract

Abstract

The concept of worship is a very important aspect for every religious community. The way of prayer for Hindus in Indonesia is guided by performing Pūjā Trisandhyā in order to know and feel or recognize the qualities and omnipotence of God in accordance with their beliefs and beliefs. Pūjā Trisandhyā belongs to upasana and is the path of bhakti yoga. The Pūjā Trisandhyā Mantra is only chanted through loudspeakers, without any effort to provide education regarding a deep understanding of it. The aim of this research is to enrich Trisandhyā's review and explore phenomena related to the implementation of Pūjā. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a philosophical and phenomenological approach. The results of this research show that the implementation of Pūjā Trisandhyā in the Tonja Traditional Village tends to be seen as a normal thing that must be practiced tocomplete the prayers in a piodalan ritual. If it is not carried out three times in accordance with the time requirements, some people feel that this is not/is not a problem, the implementation of the puja has been replaced with other activities; such as mebanten canang, praying silently, ngayah in the banjar for joy and sorrow activities, working to earn a living and so on. Abstract

All this time the world viewed women as weak beings and sort of alienated them in a more complex struggle of life. Women have always been the object of gender degradation which until now is still common. In fact, women are equal and equal in position to women, especially in the dimension of their spriritual understanding. To be able to prove the urgency and hypothesis, the author conducts library research whose basis is qualitative research which is then descriptively interpretively elaborated. This study provides a clear picture of how women play and contribute. The role and contribution of women became the basic basis for the author to describe the position of women reviewed through the concept of Hindu religious teachings on the basis of the text, namely Manawa Dharmaçastra. The results of this study prove textually that women have a noble position in the view of Hinduism. Manawa Dharmaçastra states that where women are respected then there happiness will be achieved, but on the contrary where women experience suffering and sadness then there destruction will occur. Respect for women is certainly based on logical arguments that can be scientifically accounted for. So the author can prove that the reason women are respected as Hindus view one of them is because women have a higher spiritual level than men. The author's view is proven through various studies conducted by several researchers including Michael Argyle; Chao-Chih Liao; Intan Indah Sari and Sari Sudarmiati; Yuni Novitasari, Syamsu Yusuf, and Ilfiandra Ilfiandra; Ita Nur Itsna; and Retno Mangestuti and Rahmat Aziz. All the studies carried out prove that women have a higher level of spirituality than men, so gender geneology greatly affects the condition of human spirititulity. Abstract

Education that comes from local wisdom cannot only be adapted to formal education. Informal and non-formal education is a big forum in the realm of education in the family and community environment. One of them can be seen from the parampara culture of Buddhist Brahmin spiritual education which originates from the Buddhakeling paguron tradition which was passed down to one of his Sisyas in Puri Semarapura, which had an impact on the transformation into a Sisya with the Prajna Paramita character. This article aims to reveal the factors of ethnopedagogical transformation in the Sila Sesana Sisya Brahmana Buddha in Puri Semarapura. The results of the study show that there is a transformation in the realm of thoughts, words and deeds as well as gradual educational patterns through Wiku Dhang Acarya, Wiku Ngeraga and Wiku Anglokapalasraya. In this context, the role of the Sesana Sisya Brahmin Buddhist Precepts in Puri Semarapura, which are inherited in a tangible and intangible way, is important to optimize the ability of a Buddhist Brahmin to understand, act and practice the Sesana text through religious literature in actual practical life.

Abstract

Relations between religious communities have given rise to patterns of religious moderation which have become part of the daily lives of people in various parts of the country. Living in harmony, peace and mutual respect between friends and  neighbors, between villages and regions as well as between ethnic groups with different religious beliefs has become a culture and has even become part of local wisdom for centuries. The traditions of harmony, peace, mutual respect, tolerance and mutual cooperation have become the basis for patterns of religious moderation and have an important role in building religious harmony, as is the case in Banjar Tuka, Dalung Village. Patterns of religious moderation have been embedded in the construction of beliefs at personal and social levels, preserved through traditions and noble teachings, displayed in cultural works as markers of the presence of patterns of religious moderation in society. Starting from several cases of religious intolerance and social conflict based on religion, the Indonesian state needs to promote religious moderation. Because, with a moderate attitude in religion, harmony between religious communities can be achieved. The pattern of religious moderation needs to be implemented continuously and in a balanced manner to be able to establish community unity and unity towards a safe, peaceful, prosperous and harmonious society.
