Abstract

Analysis of Language Usage and Spelling on Social Media X Yupienfess is one of the scientific papers compiled by us. X Yupienfess is a menfess platform used by three campus branches, namely UPN Jakarta, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya. Our group is interested in analyzing the use of language used by users of the platform. Menfess itself is a message delivered anonymously. This study uses a qualitative method as a research approach. The data collection technique used is observation of language use and documentation in the form of screenshots to be used as the subject of analysis. The data analysis technique used in this study is semantic analysis, which focuses on the meaning of words in language. The object of this study is the X Yupienfess platform. Based on the results of the study, it was found that X Yupienfess users use a lot of slang, a mixture of foreign languages, and regional languages.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the use of journalistic language in the Headline of Lampung Tribune Newspaper. Where in a mass media it is important to present news whose language uses journalistic language to ensure that the information conveyed can be conveyed clearly and there is no misinterpretation in reading a news. The method used is descriptive qualitative method with Lampung Tribune Newspaper Headline as the object of study. The data collection technique is a literature study on journals or documents related to Journalistic Language. The results of this study show that the Lampung Tribune Newspaper Headline in presenting the news has used appropriate journalistic language. It's just that of course there are a few shortcomings where there are some news that contain technical language or foreign words that may not be familiar to many people.

Abstract

This research aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of language switching and code-mixing across various social contexts. By exploring existing theories, models, and factors, this study seeks to understand the underlying mechanisms driving these linguistic phenomena. Furthermore, this research will examine the impact of emerging trends, especially in social media, on the study of language in multilingual communities. This research is expected to contribute significantly to our knowledge of the role of language in shaping social interactions.

Abstract

This study analyzes Beast’s character development in a modern adaption of a classic tale, focusing on goodness, love, and, redemption from an ethical prespective. Using descriptive qualitative analysis and film text analysis, the research examines narrative, dialogue, and character interactions, particularly in scenes highlighting Beast’s moral transformation. The analysis is based on Aristotle’s virtue ethics and Kant’s deontological ethics. The findings reveal that Beast’s transformation, driven by love and redemption through his relationship with Belle, demonstrates a shift from selfishness to empathy and moral responsibility. This change results from both external influences and internal reflection. The study highlights film as a powerful medium for conveying moral messages and deepening the understanding of character-driven moral transformation in visual narratives.

Abstract

Finding out how the inquiry learning approach is applied to raise the learning motivation of Class V pupils at SD Miftahul Huda Plosokandang Kedungwaru Tulungagung, is the aim of the study. Qualitative research is the research methodology. Interviews, observations, and documentation were employed as data gathering methods. data reduction, data display, data analysis, and conclusion/verification. 1) The inquiry learning methodology is implemented for grade V students at SD Miftahul Huda Plosokandang Kedungwaru Tulungagung, following the proper procedures, which include doing observations before posing questions to both instructors and students. 2) A questionnaire that was given to the Class V pupils of SD Miftahul Huda Plosokandang Kedungwaru Tulungagung revealed that the students' learning motivation fell into the medium range. Furthermore, this statement receives an average score of 2.98 with a percentage of 74%, or in the High category, based on the mean or average value of student learning motivation.

Abstract

This study develops audio-visual teaching materials to enhance secondary school students’ understanding of conditional sentences in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) instruction. Adopting the Borg and Gall Research and Development (R&D) model, the study involves information gathering, planning, prototype development, field testing, and product revision. The materials include animated videos and interactive exercises designed to engage students and simplify complex grammatical concepts. Data collected through questionnaires, interviews, observations, and tests reveal improved student comprehension and engagement after using the materials. Teachers noted that these resources align with curriculum requirements and support effective grammar teaching. This study highlights the potential of audio-visual media in addressing challenges in EFL grammar instruction, offering practical and innovative solutions for educators.

Abstract

In the classroom, learning outcomes are significantly impacted by the diversity of learners. Differentiated learning is a tactic that educators can employ to enhance students' learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to enhance students' learning results in Indonesian language courses, particularly in transitive and intransitive sentence construction. Three components—visual, auditory, and kinesthetic—were used in this study's diversified learning approach. This study started with pre-cycle activities and used a two-cycle classroom action research approach. Planning, carrying out, observing, assessing, and reflecting were all done in each cycle. Based on the pre-cycle tasks, only four students (40%) completed them, while six students (60%) did not, with an average score of 65. The percentage of complete students increased to five (50%) in cycle I , whereas five (50%) of the students with an average score of 75 were not complete. There was a rise once more in cycle II, with an average score of 78, and 8 students (80%) who were complete and only 2 students (20%) who were not. The study's findings suggest that tailored instruction can enhance students' learning outcomes in Indonesian classes, particularly in class IV transitive and intransitive phrases. SDN Nglambangan 01.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the use of Quizizz media in increasing students' interest in learning about the characteristics of living things. This research method uses qualitative methods. The population and participants in this research were grade 3 students at MI Salafiyah 1 Kauman. The results of this research are concluded by an increase in students' interest in learning after using Quizizz as a learning medium. This can be seen from the results of questionnaires and interviews where students are happier and more enthusiastic about learning using Quizizz media. Based on the results of observations of student learning activities, there was an increase in learning, namely 75% and categorized as very good, while the results of student tests showed that out of 36 students, 32 students completed it. With these results, it can be shown that Quizizz media is indeed an effective medium for increasing students' interest in learning.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the influence of effective learning methods on students' interest in learning at SMA Negeri 3 Pasuruan. The background of this research is based on Republic of Indonesia Law no. 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System, which emphasizes the importance of developing students' potential. The quality of graduates is closely related to student learning achievement, one of which is interest in learning. It is hoped that the application of effective learning methods can increase students' interest in learning, while contributing to the development of quality education. In this research, the approach used is quantitative with a correlational design..” The independent variable studied is Effective Learning Methods, with indicators of skills, knowledge and teaching and learning processes. Meanwhile, the dependent variable is Student Interest in Learning, which is measured through indicators of concentration/attention, feelings of joy, and interest in learning.“Research data was collected through questionnaires distributed to teachers and students at SMA Negeri 3 Pasuruan, with a population of 996 students, and using simple random sampling techniques. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive and inferential methods, including validity, reliability and classical assumption tests (normality, linearity, heteroscedasticity), along with simple linear regression analysis, t test (partial), and analysis of the coefficient of determination, using SPSS software. This research is expected to provide insight into how learning methods contribute to increasing students' interest in learning.

Abstract

Apperception activities have an important role in building the foundation for critical thinking in elementary school students, especially in supporting the Pancasila Student Profile. This research aims to explore the urgency of implementing well-designed apperception in encouraging students' critical thinking abilities. This research uses the library research method as the main approach for collecting and analyzing data. Library research is a qualitative research method that does not involve direct field activities, but focuses on collecting information from various written sources, both published and unpublished. The research results show that structured apperception activities can effectively increase students' active involvement, connecting previous knowledge with new concepts, and gradually forming a critical thinking pattern. This study provides valuable insight for educators in designing effective and targeted learning strategies, which emphasize the development of critical thinking skills from an early age.
