Abstract

Human Resource Management (HRM) in schools is a crucial element in advancing the quality of education. In the era of digital transformation, human resource management faces new challenges, particularly related to the adaptation of technology in the learning and administrative processes. This research discusses HRM in schools with a focus on the application of digital technology in managing educational and administrative staff. Digitalization brings significant changes in the ways recruitment, training, and performance management are conducted, by utilizing technology-based management systems such as Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS) and Learning Management Systems (LMS). However, challenges such as resistance to change, digital competence gaps, limited infrastructure, and lack of policy support become obstacles in the implementation of digital transformation in schools. Therefore, strategies such as developing digital competence for educators, implementing technology-based systems, and strengthening digital policies and infrastructure are necessary for effective digitalization in schools. The implementation of these strategies is expected to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of HRM and improve the quality of education in the digital era.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out the Common Errors Students make in learning past simple tense. The population of this research was Grade 6 students of K / Denu As Siraj Boys College—Dellanga, Gelioya. The objectives of the study were to identify the challenges faced by the grade 6 students, To find out the rules and regulations of the past simple tense, To find out the knowledge of regular and irregular verb forms, and to investigate the improvement in the level of language proficiency of students after examining them. The researcher used a mixed method to collect data from the students. Quantitative and Qualitative methods were used. Post Test and Pre Test were used as the quantitative data and the Interview as the Qualitative method. In this research, 35 students were performed as the sample. After the data collection procedure the researcher analyzed the data according to written test performance. In this process (SST), the Surface Strategy Taxonomy method was used to classify the errors. The findings of this research indicated that there were 130 total errors that students made in Post Test. which were classified into four categories based on the Surface Strategy Taxonomy (SST). Those were the error of omission with 47 errors , error of addition with 19 errors, misformation with 61 errors and misordering with 3 errors. The students made the dominant error in misformation category. It can be seen from the percentage result where misformation was 47%,then followed by error of omission with 36%,errors of addition with 15% and misordering with 2%.On the other hand in Pre Test students committed error in Misformation was 54%, error with omission 38%, Addition 6%, and Misordering 2%. The researcher finally got the conclusion that in both tests most of the students made dominant errors in Misformation. The researcher suggests that students learning English as a second language need proper guidance from the beginning. Emphasis should be placed on speaking practice rather than writing to help them better understand the language. Additionally, they are encouraged to develop reading habits to learn sentence structures and new vocabulary in English.

Abstract

Development in the field of education in Indonesia has currently provided a form of expansion so that the concept of education itself has a useful access to eradicate illiteracy which can have significant benefits. . This study uses a research design in the form of a descriptive case study where all conclusions will be described in the form of a description that is linked to theory and findings. Case Study is a series of scientific activities carried out intensively and in depth about a program, event, and activity, both at the individual level, a group of people, institutions, or organizations to gain in-depth knowledge about the event. The discussion in this study will basically discuss the results of the researcher's findings during the field to collect primary data in compiling a scientific paper in the form of a thesis. To discuss the problems in this study, the information or data obtained can be adjusted to the existing theory, namely related to library management. In the form of an effort to implement a literacy program, of course, the library is important to achieve the goals of the Literacy program. The results and discussion of this study are the improvement of the literacy program in an effort to fulfill the right to reading materials for prisoners in the Class IIB Sukadana Detention Center using management theory. The Correctional System in this case has an important role in social reintegration efforts where in the correctional efforts to implement a good correctional system, it is necessary to fulfill the rights of prisoners in carrying out their sentences in prisons or detention centers in Indonesia. The Literacy Program is one form of effort made by the Class IIB Sukadana Prison in fulfilling the rights of these prisoners. However, in the implementation process, this Literacy Program did not run well due to obstacles so that innovation is needed to make the implementation of this program run well in the Class IIB Sukadana Prison.

Abstract

Pashto, a major language in Afghanistan and Pakistan, faces persistent orthographic inconsistencies regarding the dual graphemes Yā ("ی", U+06CC and "ې", U+06D0). These graphemes represent distinct phonological and morphological functions but are frequently used interchangeably, leading to ambiguity that adversely affects literacy acquisition, digital text processing, and educational practices. This study employs a convergent mixed-methods design, analyzing a stratified corpus of over 2.1 million Pashto words from print and digital sources (2000–2024), alongside 120 educator surveys and 30 expert interviews with linguists, curriculum developers, and software engineers. Quantitative corpus analysis reveals a 68% inconsistency rate in dual Yā usage, significantly reducing Optical Character Recognition (OCR) accuracy by an average of 23% (±2.5%). Qualitative data highlight challenges educators and developers face due to a lack of standardization, particularly in early-grade literacy instruction and digital tool development. Drawing on orthographic theory, sociolinguistics, educational psychology, and Unicode standards, the study proposes a comprehensive, Unicode-compliant orthographic framework. Pilot implementation in three Kabul schools demonstrated a 22% improvement in reading fluency (p=0.013) and an 18% reduction in spelling errors (p=0.021), supporting Sustainable Development Goal 4 (quality education). The findings provide a robust, empirically grounded pathway for orthographic reform, emphasizing the need for coordinated policy interventions, teacher training, and technological updates. This interdisciplinary approach enhances linguistic clarity and promotes educational equity and digital inclusion for Pashto speakers globally.

Abstract

This study investigates how technical English proficiency influences the speed at which students in Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) resolve network troubleshooting problems. Conducted at SMKS Prawira, Carita, Banten, this ex post facto study involved 42 students who completed a technical English test and performed simulated troubleshooting scenarios using Cisco Packet Tracer. The results show a strong negative correlation (r = -0.934) between English proficiency and troubleshooting time. Students with higher proficiency were able to resolve problems faster, highlighting the functional importance of technical English comprehension. The findings emphasize the necessity for vocational curricula to incorporate English for Specific Purposes (ESP), especially for technology-related fields. Integrating language and technical instruction could bridge the gap between communication skills and real-world problem-solving capabilities. This study advocates for targeted instructional modules and collaborative teaching approaches to enhance students’ readiness for industry demands.
