Abstract

The goal of this study was to evaluate how well the autonomous curriculum was being used to address technical advancements in the era of the fourth industrial revolution. The descriptive qualitative methodology is used in this study. Utilizing interviews, documentation, and literature reviews as a data collection method. The study’s findings revealed that: 1) school assessments, character assessments, an effective zoning system called RPP, and the implementation of report cards made up the independent learning curriculum; and 2) the difficulties of implementing an independent curriculum in the face of technological advancements in the industrial era 4.0 are more closely related to the implementation of learning, including the demands for the availability of adequate infrastructure, the competence of teachers, and the independence of educational institutions.

Abstract

The goal of this research is to produce education that is more meaningful. To achieve this goal, it is important to select media and educational strategies that can help students truly understand and participate fully in the teaching and learning process. In order to encourage students to think and understand the subject matter rather than just hear, receive, and remember it, as well as to be able to develop students’ thinking abilities in achieving learning outcomes, the researcher chose constructivism education that was centered on students. This educational approach of constructivism was applied in pairs. the greatest. With a sequential exploratory design, this research is a type of qualitative and quantitative research in which qualitative methods are used in the first stage and quantitative methods in the second. The research information was gathered through observations, interviews, documentation, and exams to gauge the physics knowledge of the students and the success of this study. According to the research findings, there are variations between the pre-test and post-test learning outcomes for the experimental class employing the constructivism approach in physics teaching. Based on the outcomes, it can be concluded that the educational paradigm employed, particularly the constructivism method, produces superior outcomes.

Abstract

This study was to review the literature on the principal’s function as a supervisor to raise teacher performance and competency. The study involved looking at 15 papers with the keyword “supervising school principals” in the title. The goal of the systematic literature review (SLR) method employed in this study is to locate, evaluate critically, and incorporate prior research on the function of the principal as a supervisor in enhancing teacher performance and competence. The findings of this literature review research allow us to draw the conclusion that the supervision process is one factor that is quite important in evaluating the efficacy of current management in schools. There is a positive and significant relationship between the principal’s successful supervision and the effectiveness and competence of teachers. The implementation of teachers’ primary responsibilities can be improved through improved communication between teachers and school principals as well as through conducting training and training. A school principal’s roles include those of educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, entrepreneur, and motivator.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of school’s culture and organizational commitment on teacher’s performance in public elementary schools in Tanjung Lubuk subdistrict, Ogan Komering Ilir district.This study was conducted on teachers in Tanjung Lubuk District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The sample size was taken as many as 43 teachers in Tanjung Lubuk District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The data was carried out by distributing questionnaires using a 5-point Likert scale to measure 67 statement items. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that organizational commitment and school’s culture simultaneously have a significant effect on teacher’s performance. Organizational commitment has a partial and significant effect on teacher’s performance. School’s culture has a partial and significant effect on teacher’s performance.

Abstract

In the era of independent learning, this study tries to ascertain the function and contribution of school committees in raising educational standards. SMP Negeri 1 Mesuji served as the site of this study. Interviews, observation, documentation, and literature reviews are all utilized as data collection methods. Analyses of descriptive and qualitative data were used. According to the analysis’s findings, school committees play a crucial role in managing schools in the independent learning era by overseeing Competency Assessments, implementing the Zoning New Student Acceptance Regulations (PPDB), enhancing facilities and infrastructure, forging ties between communities and schools, and encouraging the improvement of educational resources. During the period of independence, the school committee’s function had an impact on initiatives to raise the standard of instruction at SMP Negeri 1 Mesuji.

Abstract

This study intends to identify, characterize, and assess the principal of SMP Negeri 4 Penukal Utara’s contribution to raising the caliber of school administration. The analytical method employs methods for descriptive quantitative analysis. In this study, information was gathered through interviews, observation, documentation, and literature reviews. According to the study’s findings, the principal of the school assumed the role of head of administration when performing administrative and informational administrative tasks. The school principal’s function as head of administration, together with the administrative staff’s performance, is carried out in line with operational requirements for school administration and positively affects how smoothly teaching and learning activities are carried out. The study’s conclusion is that the school principal’s position has ramifications for the execution of obligations and functions supporting the execution of operational tasks that facilitate the development of the school as a whole.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the community satisfaction level in relation to the quality standards of vocational high schools. Quantitative techniques are used in the research process. instruments for gathering data that include surveys, documentation, and literature reviews. Descriptive statistical techniques and percentage formulas are used in data analysis. According to the study’s findings, the community in Kayuagung District is quite satisfied with the quality of the Vocational High School (SMK) based on: (1) expectations for graduates’ abilities after attending SMK; (2) the community’s perspective on the learning process’s quality; (3) community satisfaction with the standards of educators and education staff is based on community knowledge about According to the study’s findings, the community’s level of satisfaction with the quality of vocational high schools (SMK) in the Kayuagung District is still subpar.

Abstract

The goal of this study was to evaluate the leadership responsibilities of the principal in enhancing student discipline. The study was carried out at SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung. Observation, documentation, and interview-based data collection methods. The three stages of the data analysis technique are data reduction, conclusion/verification, and descriptive qualitative procedures. According to the research findings, the principal’s leadership enhances student discipline through exemplary, individual, and hierarchical ways. The SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung residents’ motivation and complete trust from the principal has an effect on raising student discipline in academic tasks. The teacher’s example can also serve as a model for student behavior related to discipline. High-quality schools are more likely to be founded in environments where there is a culture of discipline in following rules.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out and analyze the magnitude of the influence of Curriculum Management and lecturer work motivation simultaneously on improving the quality of education, to find out and analyze the magnitude of the influence of Curriculum Management partially on improving and to find out and analyze the magnitude of the influence of lecturer work motivation partially on improving the quality of education. In this study the authors used references from the grand theory of administration, middle theory of management and organization and operational theory of curriculum management and work motivation which are still relevant to this research. The research object that was used as the research locus was Polytechnic of Adiguna Maritime Indonesia Medan. Where the population that is used as a sample of respondents is the director and lecturers. The method used is descriptive analysis method with a quantitative approach. The schedule and time of research starts from February 2023 to May 2023. The results showed that dimensions of curriculum management can influence the Improvement of education quality at Polytechnic of Adiguna Maritime Indonesia Medan. It is illustrated that lecturer work motivation has no significant effect on improving the quality of education.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to prepare environmental awareness of climate changes among female players, as well as identifying environmental awareness of climate changes among female players in some universities in the Middle Euphrates region, as well as finding differences in environmental awareness of climate changes among female players between some group and individual games, and the researcher followed the descriptive approach in its survey and comparison styles due to its suitability with the nature of the research objectives, the research was conducted on female players in some universities in the Middle Euphrates region. As the total number of the research community reached (103) players, and the research sample of (28) players was randomly selected, the researcher prepared a measure of environmental awareness of climate change and it was presented to a group of experts and specialists, and full statistical treatments were conducted for the preparation process, using appropriate statistical methods In the light of the results obtained, the researcher reached several conclusions, the most important of which was the enjoyment of team and individual game players in some universities in the Middle Euphrates region with a good degree of environmental awareness of climate change. In addition, there is no preference in environmental awareness of climate change among team and individual game players in some universities in the Middle Euphrates region. In light of these conclusions, the researcher recommended several recommendations, including the need to pay attention to the environmental aspect of climate changes surrounding female players in general and the training environment in particular, with an emphasis on the need for great interest in clarifying and spreading environmental awareness of climate changes in various activities and different sports.
