Abstract

The main task of the function of the principal needs to be discussed because it is the spearhead in the development of Indonesian human resources. Interpretation of the applicable education regulations in Indonesia and their implementation is a must. This research uses the literature review method. The research issue taken is about the duties and main functions of the principal in managing the school as an educational institution. Management of educational institutions refers to the eight points of national education standards. The legal jurisdiction for education management is the National Education Standards Act. The duties and main functions of the principal must have derivative regulations that refer to the law. So that there are no deviant actions in school management. The results showed that after being crystallized from various regulations which refer to the management function, namely POAC.

Abstract

Some primary schools in Palembang got problems related to the implementation of the school’s accreditation. This research aimed at producing a module of guidance’s school accreditation for school’s stakeholders which valid, practical and effective. This research used Research and Development (R&D). The model development in this study used 4-D (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The objects of this research were the State Primary school 21, 22 and 29 in Palembang. The results concluded that the module was declared valid, practical and effective. This paper contribute to all educational stakeholders in primary, secondary and high education as an alternative module which can help to prepare accreditation.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the duties and responsibilities of education management. This study uses a literature study. The object of this research is the duties and responsibilities of education management. The results of the study concluded that if the duties and responsibilities were carried out properly, the school would be good too, especially in the 4.0 era. This article provides insight to be good principal.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the duties and responsibilities of the principal's education management towards quality Early Childhood Education (PAUD). This research uses library research methods, namely research carried out through collecting data or scientific writings that aim at the object of research or data collection that is library in nature, or studies carried out to solve a problem which is basically focused on critical and in-depth study. to relevant library materials. The results of the study show that the management functions are decision making, organizing, staffing, planning, supervising, communicating and directing. And the role of the principal in improving the quality of education is as an educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, and motivator. The role of the principal in order to improve the quality of education is very important, because it can affect the success or failure of the quality of education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of the duties and responsibilities of teachers. This study uses library research methods. The results show that the duties and responsibilities of teachers are professional duties, humanitarian tasks, and social tasks. The teacher's role in the teaching and learning process are the teacher's role in administration, the teacher's role as a person, and the teacher's role as a psychologist. Teacher responsibilities are professional, social, moral-spiritual, and personal.

Abstract

The purpose of writing in this paper is to present a description of innovations regarding the application of problem solving management by principals in an effort to improve school achievement. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research is useful in the field of principal management in managing schools that have limited infrastructure and students who are categorized as less, both economically and academically. Based on the results and discussion, it can be concluded that the application of problem solving management by principals can improve school achievement marked by the number of awards received by schools, increased public interest and the existence of other schools that have comparative studies in schools. The novelty in this study is the managerial pattern of the principal in dealing with various kinds of complex problems but is still able to improve the quality of the school.

Abstract

In remote areas school experience limitations in fulfilling quality educational facilities and infrastructure. This qualitative research aimed at revealing how schools meet the standard of facilities and infrastructure and what factors influence them. The instruments used were interviews, observation and documentation. The results found that the standard fulfillment of facilities and infrastructure in the Elementary Schools Public 25 at Muara Sugihan District was still low compared from several other public elementary schools at the Muara Sugihan sub-district. The Principal explained that the factors influence it include geographical location, the role of community leaders, parents of students, educators and. Facilities for the provision of necessities related to facilities should be carried out jointly by all school members.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to assess the impact of academic supervision and teacher professional competence on teacher performance at SMP Negeri 5 Prabumulih. The study employs quantitative tools and an associative methodology. There are 60 teachers in the population and sample. The Slovin method was employed in the sample procedure, which was proportionate random sampling. Multiple linear regression is used in the analysis tool. The study's findings revealed that simultaneous academic supervision and teacher professional competence had a substantial influence on teacher performance at SMP Negeri 5 Prabumulih. This study was just completed to assess the influence of teacher supervision and professional competency on performance, particularly at the junior high school level. This study is designed to help school administrators enhance teacher performance by strengthening academic monitoring and ensuring optimal teacher professional competence.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to identify the reasons of issues encountered by instructors and efforts to address them through monitoring of social studies learning activities. This study is an example of descriptive qualitative research. The interview approach was employed to collect data in this study. Purposive sampling was employed to acquire data from the Social Studies teacher at MTs Negeri 1 Prabumulih in this study. The findings of the supervision implementation showed that efforts may be made to improve teacher performance by offering training and updating learning plans that respond to students' conditions and situations during the covid 19 pandemic. As a result of changes in the atmosphere and learning environment, student motivation in participation in learning grows. With comparison to before the epidemic. This research was also only undertaken at Madrasahs in Prabumulih City, and it was never conducted to the field of social sciences studies. This study helps the madrasa principal by providing stimulation in the form of criticism and incentive to instructors in an effort to enhance performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine 1) the characteristics of professional teachers who hold educator certificates, 2) what efforts teachers have made to implement the learning process in the classroom, and 3) what efforts teachers have made to improve their performance in order to meet national education goals. This study is a descriptive qualitative study. This research included 18 instructors who already held educator credentials and got professional allowances. Techniques for collecting data include surveys, observation, and documentation. Techniques for data analysis include data reduction, data display, and decision making. According to the study's findings, qualified instructors have strong professional competence but must constantly grow their expertise in a sustainable manner. Furthermore, instructors must seek to better themselves and employ digital skills to enhance the learning process in the classroom in order to raise students' enthusiasm in engaging in learning. This study focuses on the hurdles or issues encountered by qualified instructors, particularly throughout the classroom learning process. With this research, it is intended that it would help trained instructors overcome obstacles that arise during the learning process in the classroom, allowing them to reach the required level of national education.
