Abstract

Customer experience (CX) has emerged as a critical component of strategic planning within the financial services industry, driving value creation through personalization, loyalty, and operational efficiency. This study conducts a bibliometric review to map the intellectual landscape of customer experience-based financial strategies using data extracted from the Scopus database and analyzed through VOSviewer. A total of 502 articles were evaluated using co-authorship, citation, keyword co-occurrence, and country collaboration analyses. The results reveal that central themes such as customer satisfaction, finance, and financial services form the conceptual core of the field, while recent trends emphasize digital transformation, fintech, and artificial intelligence. Prominent scholars and methodological influences shape the field’s theoretical base, with the United States and India identified as key contributors to global research collaboration. The study highlights the evolution of the domain from service quality models to AI-enabled customer engagement, and identifies opportunities for future research in cross-cultural contexts, empirical validation, and ethical dimensions of digital CX strategies.

Abstract

Greenwashing and transparency have emerged as two competing yet interconnected paradigms in the discourse on corporate sustainability. While greenwashing represents the manipulation or exaggeration of environmental performance, transparency reflects a firm’s commitment to honest, verifiable disclosure. This study employs a bibliometric analysis using VOSviewer to map the intellectual structure, thematic evolution, and collaborative patterns in the academic literature related to these two concepts. Based on a curated dataset from the Scopus database covering publications from 2000 to 2024, the analysis applies co-authorship, citation, co-word, and country collaboration techniques to uncover key contributors, emerging topics, and research gaps.  Findings reveal that greenwashing remains a dominant theme, deeply embedded in literature on ESG, accountability, and sustainability reporting, while transparency is increasingly linked to digital technologies and financial instruments aimed at ensuring reporting credibility. Thematic clusters show evolving interest in areas such as green finance, blockchain, and supply chain transparency. Author and institutional networks reflect growing international collaboration, though notable disparities exist in geographic representation. This study contributes to a clearer understanding of the academic field and provides a foundation for future interdisciplinary research aimed at combating greenwashing and promoting transparent corporate sustainability practices.

Abstract

The global palm oil industry sits at the nexus of economic growth and environmental sustainability, generating both substantial financial returns and significant ecological concerns. This study presents a bibliometric synthesis of scholarly literature on palm oil, with particular focus on the interplay between policy frameworks, profitability, and environmental outcomes. Using the Scopus database, a total of relevant publications from 2000 to 2024 were analyzed through VOSviewer software to identify trends in co-authorship, citation patterns, and keyword co-occurrence. The findings reveal that "palm oil" and "sustainable development" serve as thematic anchors linking diverse domains such as biofuel production, deforestation, land use change, and economic valuation. Temporal analysis indicates a thematic evolution from environmental critiques toward techno-economic innovation and governance mechanisms. Collaboration networks highlight Malaysia and Indonesia as dominant contributors, with growing international partnerships across Europe, North America, and Asia. Despite the increasing academic attention to sustainability, the study identifies gaps in policy evaluation and interdisciplinary integration. The discussion offers actionable insights and policy recommendations to bridge these gaps, emphasizing the need for holistic, evidence-based strategies that align economic development with environmental integrity in palm oil governance.

Abstract

This study conducts a bibliometric analysis to map the intellectual structure, thematic trends, and collaborative patterns within the field of procurement ethics and supplier management. Using data from the Scopus database and visualized through VOSviewer, the analysis covers co-authorship networks, keyword co-occurrence, citation structures, and country-level collaboration. Results show that "supplier management" remains the dominant theme, closely linked to operational concerns such as supplier selection, quality control, and risk management. More recent trends reveal a growing integration of sustainability, artificial intelligence, and information technology into procurement practices. Co-authorship and country collaboration networks highlight influential researchers and global research hubs, particularly in Germany and the United States. Despite progress, ethical constructs are often framed through strategic or technological lenses rather than normative perspectives. The study provides a roadmap for future research, emphasizing the need for broader ethical engagement and greater inclusivity of emerging economies in global procurement discourse.

Abstract

This research analyzes the Decision of the Denpasar District Court Number 249/Pid.sus/2024/PN Dps, wherein the court imposed a sentence below the special minimum threshold as stipulated in Article 112 paragraph (1) of the Narcotics Law. Employing a normative juridical research methodology with a statutory approach, this study examines the legal considerations utilized by judges in rendering decisions below the minimum threshold and identifies the implications of such decisions on law enforcement and narcotics policy in Indonesia. The findings demonstrate that the judicial panel based its decision on Supreme Court Circular Letter (SEMA) Number 3 of 2015, considering that the defendant was proven to be a user and possessed a relatively small quantity of narcotics. This phenomenon of sentencing below the minimum threshold generates legal complexities in the form of legal uncertainty due to its contravention of the legality principle, the diminishment of deterrent effects, and the creation of inconsistency in judicial decisions that potentially undermines public confidence in the judiciary. This research recommends harmonization of legislation pertaining to narcotics offenses, development of more proportionate sentencing policies with a public health approach, and the necessity for a monitoring system regarding judicial decisions that deviate from special minimum provisions.

Abstract

Tourism business contracts in the digital era often trigger disputes. This is because the parties involved in the business contract are subject to different legal systems. Apart from that, contracts signed by the parties still contain clauses that contain multiple interpretations. Contracts that should become law for the parties actually become a source of dispute. This research aims to conduct a juridical study of multi-interpretation clauses in tourism agreements in the digital era. This research uses a normative method by examining statutory regulations, books, journals, and articles relating to tourism business contracts and multi-interpretation clauses. The research results show that the existence of multiple interpretation clauses in tourism business contracts can trigger disputes that hinder the development of the tourism industry. Therefore, efforts are needed to draft clear and firm clauses and pay attention to legal harmonization so that tourism business contracts can provide legal certainty and protect the parties involved.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of entrepreneurial mindset, digital marketing strategies, social capital, and business model innovation in enhancing startup growth in Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 150 startup founders and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The findings reveal that all four factors significantly contribute to startup growth. Entrepreneurial mindset and business model innovation show the strongest effects, followed by digital marketing strategies and social capital. The study highlights the importance of fostering an entrepreneurial mindset, leveraging digital marketing, cultivating social networks, and innovating business models to drive growth in the competitive Jakarta startup landscape. These results provide valuable insights for entrepreneurs, policymakers, and investors seeking to enhance startup performance in emerging economies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the copyright regulation of works created by Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Indonesia, particularly in the context of AI-generated music. The method used is normative legal research with a comparative law approach to compare international policies related to AI copyright and adapt them into Indonesia’s legal system. The results reveal that based on Law No. 28 of 2014 concerning Copyright, AI cannot be recognized as an author because it does not meet the “human” criteria required to obtain copyright protection. Furthermore, in international practice, some countries have begun to recognize AI-generated works by granting copyright to humans involved in the development or operation of AI. Therefore, Indonesia needs to consider updating its copyright law to accommodate advancements in AI technology while protecting the copyright of human creators. This study also recommends that Indonesia adopt international approaches to clarify copyright protection for AI-generated works by emphasizing human involvement in the creative process.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of workcation programs, digital entrepreneurship, and local policy strengthening on the success of sustainable tourism in Bali, Indonesia. Utilizing a quantitative research approach, data was collected from a sample of 150 community members using a Likert scale (1-5). The analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The results reveal that workcation programs, digital entrepreneurship, and local policy strengthening all have significant positive effects on the success of sustainable tourism in Bali. Furthermore, workcation programs and local policy strengthening positively influence digital entrepreneurship, creating a synergistic effect. These findings highlight the importance of a multi-faceted approach to fostering sustainable tourism through the integration of workcation initiatives, digital business innovation, and supportive policies. The study provides valuable insights for policymakers and tourism stakeholders looking to enhance sustainable tourism practices in Bali.

Abstract

This study investigates the factors influencing the effectiveness of Islamic banking digitalization in Bandung City. Specifically, it examines the roles of Employee Digital Competencies (EDC), Technology Infrastructure (TEI), and Local Government Support (LGS) in shaping the success of digital transformation in Islamic banking institutions. A total of 220 respondents from various Islamic banks in Bandung participated in this research. Data were collected through a structured questionnaire with a 5-point Likert scale, and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The results reveal that Employee Digital Competencies, Local Government Support, and Technology Infrastructure significantly and positively influence the effectiveness of digitalization. The findings suggest that employee skills, government support, and robust technology infrastructure are essential for successful digital transformation in Islamic banking. This study contributes to the understanding of the digitalization process in Islamic financial services and provides practical recommendations for banking practitioners and policymakers in fostering an environment conducive to digital innovation.
