Abstract

This research aims to analyze the comparison between contract prices and basic prices for structural and architectural works in the construction project of the Military Court Office Building III-19 Jayapura. This comparison is essential to ensure budget efficiency and to prevent budget misuse through unreasonable mark-up practices. The research employs a quantitative approach and the cost-plus pricing method, with data obtained from field surveys (primary data) and project documentation (secondary data). The results indicate a price difference of 2.4% for structural work and 10.4% for architectural work between contract prices and basic prices. According to the fair profit analysis based on the Ministry of Public Works Regulation No. 1 of 2022, most of the works fall within the acceptable profit margin of 10–15%. This study is expected to serve as a reference for future planning and control of construction project budgets.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) identify and analyze the implementation of Restorative Justice in resolving theft crimes committed by children at the Denpasar City Resort Police, and (2) identify and analyze the obstacles and efforts made by investigators in applying Restorative Justice. This research uses an empirical legal method with a descriptive approach. The research was conducted at the Denpasar City Resort Police. Data collection techniques included document study, observation, and interviews. The sampling technique used was non- probability sampling with purposive sampling for subject selection. The data were analyzed using qualitative techniques. The results showed that (1) the implementation of Restorative Justice in resolving child theft crimes at the Denpasar City Resort Police was in accordance with Law Number 11 of 2012 concerning the Juvenile Criminal Justice System, but the process has not been fully effective due to communication barriers and lack of mutual understanding between the involved parties. (2) The obstacles encountered are classified into internal obstacles, such as legal limitations, lack of inter-agency coordination, and insufficient facilities and infrastructure; and external obstacles, including the child as perpetrator, the victim’s unwillingness to reconcile, difficulty in finding witnesses, and public perception. The efforts made by investigators include building intensive communication and mutual understanding with all involved parties to support the successful implementation of restorative approaches.

Abstract

This study explores the global research landscape on palm oil supply chains and trade through a bibliometric analysis using data exclusively sourced from the Scopus database and visualized via VOSviewer. The analysis spans publications from 2000 to 2024, identifying patterns in authorship, institutional affiliations, country collaborations, keyword co-occurrence, and thematic evolution. Results indicate a sharp increase in scholarly output beginning in 2015, with Indonesia and Malaysia emerging as the most prolific contributors. The research themes have shifted from early focuses on bioenergy and environmental emissions to more recent concerns such as deforestation, certification, governance, and sustainability. Co-authorship networks reveal disciplinary fragmentation between environmental and technical research communities, while international collaboration is strongest between Southeast Asian producers and Western academic institutions. The study highlights the need for more interdisciplinary integration and identifies emerging research gaps related to commerce, biodiversity, and land-use change. These findings offer strategic insight for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers seeking to navigate and contribute to the evolving discourse on sustainable palm oil supply chains.

Abstract

Marine biodiversity is essential for sustaining ocean health, ecological balance, and human livelihoods, yet it faces escalating threats from climate change, overexploitation, and habitat degradation. This study conducts a comprehensive bibliometric analysis to map the evolution and thematic structure of scholarly research on marine biodiversity conservation from 2000 to 2024. Using Scopus-indexed data and VOSviewer software, the study analyzes keyword co-occurrence, collaboration networks, and temporal trends in the literature. Results indicate that “biodiversity,” “marine environment,” and “conservation” are central research themes, while emerging topics such as “physiology,” “nonhuman,” and “controlled study” reflect recent shifts toward micro-level and experimental research. The study also reveals the increasing integration of policy-oriented topics, such as marine protected areas and environmental governance, with core ecological concepts. Despite this progress, the analysis highlights geographical imbalances and underexplored areas, including traditional knowledge systems and economic valuation of marine ecosystems. This bibliometric mapping provides valuable insights for guiding future research agendas, enhancing global collaboration, and strengthening the science-policy interface in marine biodiversity conservation.

Abstract

The Indonesian language has experienced very rapid development in various parts of the world. This is also influenced by various factors, including Indonesia's state relations with other countries in various sectors, including economic, political, social, and cultural. Through these relations, the important role of the Indonesian language is believed to be a potential element related to the position of the Indonesian language in the international arena. In addition, in accordance with the mandate of Law Number 24 of 2009 concerning the Flag, Language, and National Emblem, namely making the Indonesian language an international language, various diplomatic methods are carried out gradually and systematically under the Ministry of Education and Culture. One of the linguistic diplomacy missions intensively carried out by the Indonesian government is to facilitate the Indonesian language teaching program for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) to many countries that already have bilateral and multilateral cooperation with Indonesia. Through language, a person can communicate with others, even though they have different cultural backgrounds. Likewise, with Indonesian language being studied by people who are not native speakers of the language. Therefore, the BIPA teaching program, which is one of the advantages of this diplomatic mission, continues to be intensified in various universities, agencies, or language institutions abroad.
