Abstract

The urgency of the Independent Curriculum is highly relevant to current learning, particularly in the selection of learning methods (Yamin & Syahrir, 2020) [1]. The Independent Curriculum effectively improves 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, communication, and creativity to produce competitive graduates (Jufriadi et al., 2022) [2]. Data collection techniques for this study included observation, document analysis, and interviews. The results of this study indicate that the implementation stage of project-based learning includes three stages: the initial stage, the development stage, and the conclusion stage, specifically in the study of the philology of the Kuta Delitua manuscript. The main difference between the project-based implementation stages lies in the initial stage applied. The purpose of the Independent Curriculum Implementation is to be a learning resource to mature teachers' pedagogical, social, and personality competencies (Daga, 2021). The Independent Curriculum is expected to overcome the learning crisis. The implementation of the Independent Curriculum through learning must be fun and innovative so that it fosters positive attitudes in children in learning (Suhartono, 2021) [3]. There are three concepts focused on independent learning, namely, commitment to learning goals according to their needs, interests, and aspirations (Rosdiana, 2022). Therefore, curriculum changes must be carried out systematically and holistically that can have an impact on the entire learning committee, the Philology of the Kuta Delitua Manuscript which is the forerunner of the village's origins. The targeted output in this study is as an evaluation and input to lecturers and students, especially in the Philology Study of the Kuta Old Deli Manuscript based on the Project Based Learning method in the implementation of the independent curriculum of the independent campus at UMN Al-Washliyah.

Abstract

Regional songs not only hold aesthetic and cultural values, but also contain socio-economic reflections of the community. The song Wangkar Walek from Manggarai is one form of cultural expression that contains narratives about choices, sacrifices, and social relations in the context of romance. Within the framework of microeconomics, the story in this song can be understood as a real picture of how individuals make decisions in situations of limitations and complex social considerations. The lyrics show individual preferences that are not only based on material gains, but also on emotional and social values such as love, recognition and dignity. On the other hand, there are real opportunity costs when the characters in the song have to sacrifice other alternatives that may be more socially or economically beneficial. These choices cannot be separated from the strong influence of local culture, such as customary norms, social status, and family expectations that shape the economic framework of traditional society. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with content analysis techniques of Wangkar Walek song lyrics. Data were obtained from song texts as primary sources, as well as literature on microeconomics and Manggarai culture as secondary sources. The results show that consumer preferences and opportunity costs are not only present in the modern market space, but also in the social interactions of traditional communities recorded in cultural works. This research opens an integrative space between economic studies and local culture, and becomes a contextual approach in microeconomic education.

Abstract

This article examines the position of Hindu-Balinese women in the context of pluralistic inheritance law in Indonesia, particularly from the perspective of the Civil Code and Balinese customary law. Through a study of Supreme Court Decision Number 2824 K/Pdt/2017, this article examines the extent to which the formal legal system provides protection for women's inheritance rights. The analysis shows that the Civil Code guarantees equality of inheritance rights without distinction of gender, while Balinese customary law still prioritizes the line of inheritance. Although the 2010 MUDP Decision has accommodated women's rights, the Supreme Court in its decision did not substantially acknowledge this development, thus demonstrating the weak support for gender justice in national legal pluralism.

Abstract

One indicator of development progress is economic growth, which is marked by an increase in national production and income. Social issues that can affect economic growth include unemployment rates caused by an increase in the labor force that is not accompanied by an increase in job opportunities. Additionally, economic growth is also influenced by the Minimum Wage, which aims to promote economic equality, particularly for low-income workers. The goal of this study is to assess the effects of the Unemployment Rate and the Provincial Minimum Wage (PMW) on economic development in East Nusa Tenggara Province between the years 2020 and 2024. This study examines the unemployment rate, the provincial minimum wage, and economic growth in the province of East Nusa Tenggara. The approach applied in this study is quantitative description, and the analytical tool used is path analysis. Based on the analysis, it was found that the Unemployment Rate has a negative impact on economic growth with a coefficient value of -0.307 and a p-value <0.01, while the Provincial Minimum Wage has a positive impact on economic growth with a coefficient value of 0.745 and a p-value <0.01. The combined influence of both variables on economic growth is 65%.

Abstract

The low ability of students in analyzing values in fable texts is influenced by several factors such as reading interest, difficulty understanding and digesting important information in reading and difficulty in conveying the contents of the reading that has been read. This study aims to improve the ability to analyze the values of fable texts using the Sharing Reading Literacy learning model in class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Padangsidimpuan. This study uses a classroom action research (CAR) method which is implemented in stages starting from the design, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects in this study were 35 class X students. The results of this study indicate that the Sharing Reading Literacy learning model can improve students' ability to analyze values in fable texts. This is evidenced by the increase in student learning outcomes from before being given the action and the second stage after being given the class action to 85. Student effectiveness in learning activities also increased with student involvement in the learning process. The application of the Sharing Reading Literacy learning model has proven effective in improving the ability to analyze the values of fable texts in class X students of SMA Negeri 2 Padangsidimpuan. It is hoped that the results of this study can be a reference for further research related to classroom action research that can create effective learning strategies.

Abstract

This study finds the implications of the hybrid corn agribusiness development strategy and provides recommendations for strategies and policies for developing hybrid corn agribusiness in Deli Serdang Regency. This research is crucial for the future development of hybrid corn agribusiness. It employed a quantitative descriptive method. Qualitative research generally employs three design models: descriptive, verification, and grounded research. The research subjects were 60 hybrid corn farmers. The research focused on strategies for developing hybrid corn agribusiness and provided recommendations for strategies and policies for developing hybrid corn agribusiness. This research was conducted in Deli Serdang Regency, specifically in the districts of Tanjung Morawa, Lubuk Pakam, Beringin, and Namorambe. The results suggest that utilizing government support and farmer groups (gapoktan) to obtain quality seeds and utilizing average input prices and input availability can increase hybrid corn production. The hybrid corn agribusiness development strategy shows a value of x> 0, namely 1.67 and a value of y> 0, namely 1.41. This means that the position of the hybrid corn agribusiness development strategy is located in quadrant I. Quadrant I is a quadrant that is bounded by the x-axis and y-axis, both of which are positive and the recommended alternative strategy is an aggressive strategy, namely the SO strategy (Strategy - Opportunity), where this quadrant has the most profitable position because the strengths and opportunities in the position matrix are good so that with the strengths that farmers have in their farming, it is possible to take advantage of existing farming opportunities and develop them.

Abstract

The phenomenon of online gambling in Indonesia is increasingly worrying, marked by the increasing number of players and the involvement of Indonesian citizens as service providers from abroad. This situation presents challenges for law enforcement, particularly when perpetrators are located in countries that do not have legal cooperation with Indonesia. The ITE Law stipulates extraterritorial jurisdiction, which normatively authorizes action against perpetrators outside the country's territory. This study aims to analyze the regulation of extraterritorial jurisdiction in law enforcement against transnational online gambling perpetrators and proposes strengthening relevant legal instruments to increase the effectiveness of enforcement. This study uses a normative legal method with a statutory and conceptual approach. The results indicate that the regulation of extraterritorial jurisdiction in the ITE Law can serve as a legal basis for action against transnational online gambling perpetrators, but its implementation requires the support of stronger international cooperation instruments. Optimizing extradition treaties and mutual legal assistance in criminal matters is key to overcoming legal and technical obstacles. Furthermore, harmonization of legal interpretations between countries is necessary for effective law enforcement.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of global price volatility, transportation costs, and tax schemes on the profitability of palm oil exporters in West Sumatra Province. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 175 exporters through a structured questionnaire employing a 5-point Likert scale. The analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The results indicate that global price volatility has a significant negative effect on profits, emphasizing the sensitivity of palm oil exporters to international market fluctuations. Transportation costs also negatively impact profits, reflecting the high logistics burden and regional infrastructure challenges. Meanwhile, tax schemes show a significant effect—partially negative due to high fiscal burdens, but also reflecting the importance of tax incentives in mitigating operational pressures. These findings highlight the need for integrated policy reforms that stabilize commodity prices, improve logistical efficiency, and design supportive tax frameworks to enhance the competitiveness and profitability of palm oil exporters in the region.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of public accountant competence, audit review quality, and timeliness of reporting on client loyalty, with audit trust serving as a mediating variable. The research was conducted on public accounting firms operating in Jakarta using a quantitative approach. A total of 250 valid responses were collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The findings indicate that public accountant competence, audit review quality, and timeliness of reporting have significant positive effects on audit trust. In turn, audit trust significantly influences client loyalty. Moreover, audit trust partially mediates the relationship between each independent variable and client loyalty, underscoring its critical role in shaping long-term client relationships. The study provides both theoretical contributions and practical implications for public accounting firms in fostering client trust and retention.
