Abstract

The study aims to examine the relationship between anxiety and academic procrastination in students of the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Prima Indonesia. Using a quantitative correlational method. The population consists of 837 students of the Faculty of Psychology, Universitas Prima Indonesia with a sample size of 263 students selected using the disproportionate stratified random sampling technique. This study uses a quantitative method with data collection using an academic anxiety scale and an academic procrastination scale. The research data analysis test includes a normality test, a linearity test and data analysis in this study using Pearson product moment with the IBM SPSS Statistics 26 for Windows program. From the results of this study, a correlation of r = 0,221 and a significance of P = 0,000 (P 0,05) was obtained, so it can be concluded that the high and low levels of student anxiety at the Faculty of Psychology at Universitas Prima Indonesia have a unidirectional nature, which means that if the value of the dependent variable leads to an increase, then the independent variable will also have similar properties and vice versa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of BOPO (Operational Efficiency Ratio), NPL (Non-Performing Loans), LDR (Loan to Deposit Ratio), KPMM (Capital Adequacy Ratio), and GWM (Statutory Reserves) on ROE (Return on Equity) in Regional Development Banks in Central Java. The research utilizes quarterly data from Q1 2017 to Q4 2024. The Partial Adjustment Model (PAM) is employed to capture the dynamic relationship between the variables. The results show that BOPO, KPMM, and GWM have a positive and significant relationship with ROE. Meanwhile, NPL also shows a positive effect on ROE, contrary to general expectations, indicating potential issues in risk management or profit compensation strategies. LDR has a negative but statistically insignificant impact on ROE. The adjustment coefficient of 0.83418 (1 0.16582) suggests that 83.41% of the gap between actual and expected ROE is corrected in each period. The findings imply that improving operational efficiency and maintaining adequate capital and reserve levels are key to enhancing profitability. Policymakers and bank management should also scrutinize the positive effect of NPLs on ROE, which may indicate unsustainable profit strategies or aggressive lending practices. This study contributes to the literature by applying the Partial Adjustment Model to regional banking performance in Indonesia, specifically over an extended post-pandemic period, offering fresh insights into how regional banks adjust their profitability in response to internal financial ratios and external regulatory pressures

Abstract

The global halal industry continues to grow rapidly, with halal logistics playing a critical role in maintaining the halal status of products throughout the distribution process. The halal cargo policy aims to ensure that halal products remain guaranteed throughout the supply chain, including during transportation and storage. In Indonesia, regulations related to the halal cargo policy are outlined in Article 22 of Government Regulation Number 39 of 2021, which regulates halal logistics. However, the implementation of this policy faces several challenges. One of the main challenges is the lack of understanding among service companies regarding the importance of halal certification and how to incorporate it into their logistics systems. In addition, the high costs associated with halal certification and the variation in standards across companies pose significant barriers to policy implementation. This study uses a literature review method to explore the role of service companies in implementing the halal cargo policy in Indonesia. The findings suggest that for successful implementation, there is a need to raise awareness among service companies about the importance of maintaining the halal status of products during distribution. In addition, the development of infrastructure that supports halal logistics, along with the adoption of new technologies such as blockchain and the Internet of Things (IoT), can improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability in managing halal cargo. This study recommends increasing synergy between the government and the service sector to strengthen the implementation of halal cargo policies, which ultimately increases consumer confidence in halal products in the global market.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of GDP per capita, exchange rate (ER), and broad money (BM) on per capita consumption in Indonesia over the period 19902023. The data were obtained from the World Development Indicators (WDI), and the analysis was conducted using the Error Correction Model (ECM) to capture both short-term dynamics and long-term equilibrium relationships. The findings reveal that, in the long run, GDP per capita and exchange rate significantly influence per capita consumption, while broad money has no statistically significant effect. In the short run, only GDP per capita shows a significant impact. The error correction term (ECT) value of -0.490507 indicates a moderate speed of adjustment towards long-run equilibrium, suggesting that approximately 49% of the disequilibrium is corrected annually. This research contributes to empirical literature by providing updated evidence on macroeconomic determinants of household consumption in a developing country context, using a long-term dataset with rigorous econometric techniques. From a policy perspective, the findings underscore the importance of stable economic growth and prudent exchange rate management in sustaining household welfare through consumption. Policymakers should focus on maintaining macroeconomic stability, particularly through growth-enhancing and inflation-controlling measures, to ensure steady improvements in per capita consumption.
